Clan Name:Prophets of God
Clan Location: All villages, though a majority reside in Kumogakure
Bloodline Name & Type: Divine Connection, Spiritual
Current Clan Leader: N/A
Clan History/Description: Not much is known about the clan, as any religions created by them were wiped out by the Jashinist cult that also received the breath of life from a Prophet. Followers of Jashin regularly try and stamp out heretic faiths, making the existence of a Prophet dangerous for all around them. Rumor has it of ancient temples belonging to the first faiths being scattered across the continent, each full of history from an era erased by Jashin and his twisted followers.
Clan/Bloodline Traits & Characteristics: Divine Connection is a unique bloodline in that its members are chosen completely at random. There has never once been an instance of two clan members bearing the same surname recorded, though records are admittedly not very abundant on the topic. Members selected for this bloodline receive a blessing through an out of body experience during which time they're confronted with a spectacular sight. They are granted a brief vision of a group of beings that can only be described as gods to those as simple as men, with one member of this group having taken favor upon that particular member and granting them the privilege of gazing upon their presence. Each member is given a personal blessing by this "god", granting them a differing array of abilities and skills they did not have access to before.
Once this is done, it is not uncommon for many blessed to go into a religious frenzy in an attempt to convert others to their new faith. They are seen as the harbingers, the ones who meant to bring change to a dying world. These are the only commonalities between clan members, as they are chosen at random.
Bloodline Description & Abilities: Divine Connection gives each member access to a pantheon of real world gods from which the clan member draws their power from. These powers can vary wildly depending on the gods involved, giving clan members many different assets to utilize in their daily lives. Each individual god is capable of granting a "blessing" to mortal beings. At first this is only the Prophet due to being the Prophet of that pantheon. Those who are converted in character and pay 250 experience may receive the regular blessing of that particular god. This "blessing" must be registered as a separate technique, and may function as though it were two ranks higher in power than its cost. Prophets of a particular pantheon receive the added bonus of being able to replace up to one tier of boosts in a blessing with a unique boost of equal power.
In addition to the blessing, the Prophet of the religion has a unique technique available explicitly to them. With a large drawback, they are capable of invoking their gods on a primal level and harness the life of a god into their body. They become a living vessel for that particular god, their representative on earth, with the mindset of the "god" taking over the Prophet's conscious mind. Powerful stats and abilities follow in the wake of a Prophet who has attained Avatar status, making them a force to be reckoned with. This typically comes at little cost to the physical reserves of the Prophet, though the cost is in what they sacrifice to attain this particular power. Blessings and Avatar state do not require a Skill to utilize, they are innate abilities.
Bloodline Limits & Drawbacks: There may only be one Prophet per pantheon.
None of the big "Living" religions or Monotheistic creeds. Out of respect, keep it to dead religions such as the Ancient Greek/Roman religion, Shinto, or Celtic Druidic religion as examples. No Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, etc.
Prophets must pay 150 experience per god in order to receive benefits from that god.
This bloodline costs TWO Skill Points and heavy experience investment to unlock the full potential (These skills may be paid up front or held off until later in the character's life). Additionally, the amount of gods one may receive blessings and "avatar" forms from are limited within a certain pantheon. Others may worship and receive the basic blessings from other chosen gods that the Prophet has not chosen to actively receive blessings from, but the limit for non Prophets is one blessing per person. For Prophets, this varies as detailed below:
Initialization/Primary God: This is the first "god" to have bestowed a blessing upon a Prophet, and is the god the Prophet is most attuned to. This god comes with the sacrifice of the first Skill Point upon registration without payment of experience, unlike the rest of the gods. This is the only god that may be utilized without further investment on the part of the Prophet. Avatar form may be unlocked with half the regular experience, 250, thanks to this familiarity.
Blessed by the Gods: This state requires a 500 experience investment. With that comes the ability to unlock an additional two gods and their blessings. With this increased adoration by the gods, the Prophet becomes more attuned to their needs and desires. Their Primary God bestows more power than before, allowing the Prophet to carry over any boosts from their blessing into their Avatar form. Cost must still be paid, however.
Chosen by the Gods: This final state of being requires the sacrifice of a second skill point and a minimum experience total of 3,000. With this state, an additional two gods have granted the Prophet the ability to use their blessings at will. The Prophet is in a state of near constant bliss, being adored by their pantheon of gods for their incredible devotion. Additionally, a second god grants the Prophet the ability to access their Avatar state. This costs 500 experience to attain, and unlike the Primary God no boosts may carry over for this Avatar.
Upon reaching X rank and attaining 5,000 renown, the Prophet gains access to one additional god and their blessing.
If the Prophet can convert 3 players to their pantheon in character and those players accept a blessing, a third god will grant the Prophet an Avatar state. For every 3 after that, they receive only one additional god and their blessing.
Only one Avatar state may be active at once and no other blessings either, though multiple blessings may be invoked when not in the Avatar state. Blessings cannot apply more than one Unique Boost per stat, however.
There may only be one Prophet in any one village with the exception of Kumogakure, which may have two Prophets of differing religions.

Classification: Blessing
Requirements: Be blessed by Ares
Parent Technique: N/A
Hand Seals: N/A, requires the invocation "The chains rattle"
Description: After speaking the invocation, Ares grants his blessing to the mortal daring enough to beg for it. A rush of power will flow into the user, making their body feel as though it were bursting with power. It feels almost as if the user were close to an overdose of adrenaline coupled with a deep, seething rage screaming to be unleashed upon the world. The Blessing of Ares is simple for any to understand, granting the user one tier to Coordination and 2+ to Strength. Every 3 turns under the effect of Blessing of Ares, the user's Intelligence will drop by 1- and their Perception will increase an equal amount. This is from the desire for combat that is invoked into the user sharpening their senses as the battle progresses but dampening their critical thinking skills in favor of a straight on battle.

Classification: Avatar
Requirements: Blessing of Ares, be a Prophet of the Ancient Greeks
Parent Technique: N/A
Hand Seals: N/A, requires the invocation "The chains break"
Description: After speaking the invocation, the Prophet will be enveloped in a cocoon of light that forms rapidly. It is too bright to look at directly and shields the Prophet from all but the most powerful attacks. This cocoon is only present for a couple seconds before the light fades and reveals what has become of the Prophet. A feeling of primal rage and bloodthirst are the primary emotions and feelings of the Prophet that has invoked the God of War to possess their body. The Prophet is clad in armor head to toe of A grade quality for the duration of the possession. They also wield a hoplon shield on one arm and are armed with a spear, the sword of a spartan hoplite, as well as a war ax and a barbed whip. Any and all skills the Prophet possessed are no longer usable and are instead replaced by Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, and Bukijutsu. No regular jutsu other than Academy techniques may be used while in this form, though special techniques only usable in this form may be used. The God of War is immune to sound based and visual Genjutsu. The Prophets stats, with the exception of Stamina for cost purposes, are replaced with that of the God of War's stats, listed below:
Strength: A
Constitution: B
Stamina: User
Speed: A
Coordination: A
Intelligence: B
Perception: A
Weaknesses: No jutsu means that much of the user's aresenal is entirely off limits including any restricted techniques they may possess. In addition, utilizing the Avatar state of Ares means that no other blessings may be active which strips the Prophet of additional abilities that may prove useful. Having the Prophet's skills stripped away also means that non combat skills such as ijutsu are no longer viable, further reducing the potential of the Prophet. This Avatar state is heavily focused on physical combat, utterly failing on any other playing field. Bijuu may be used, but their boosts are halved while Avatar state is in use.
