Nozomi's mouth formed a frown as the Captain was able to mostly avoid her counter attack, as she'd been hoping to take one of them down, and fast. Unfortunately, this meant that she had to fight them both and the element of surprise was no longer on her side when it came to her technique's potential. The petal blades were more useful when underestimated, although they weren't entirely useless now. Still, a change of strategy was in order, as she couldn't fight both of them at the same time in a straight up taijutsu match. One of them was hard enough as it was, and they were at least relative in terms of her highest levels of speed.
Cancelling the Dance of the Misty Petal technique as they backed away to regroup, leaving 10 meters between them, Nozomi herself formed a mass of chakra inside her, and her hands moved to the body flicker sign, her Misty Petal Propulsion aiding in the speed of the body flicker. A trail of petals was left behind where she had been as she moved towards the lake, her surroundings and vision blurred heavily, but as she reached it, she began weaving more signs, slowing down partially before she got to the water. Tiger, dog, monkey, snake, boar, tiger. The last sign formed, and the water around her began to surge over and around her, forming a bubble about a meter around her in all directions as the lake began to bend to her whim.
Massive quantities of the lake's water shifted, as the waterline of most of the lake noticeably receded, while the area around Nozomi, who was now in a safe bubble of air under a mass amount of water, would start surging towards the two ANBU she was fighting, seeking to smash them down into the ground, and hold them there until they passed out. It wasn't the way she liked to fight, and this technique was the most draining one she had, but she could maintain it for a little while.
She smirked a little, aware that these shinobi were unaware that a lowly genin like her had a technique like this, as it was one of the secret techniques of Kirigakure, and even among Kiri-nin it wasn't particularly known. She spared little thought to whether Kotsubo would be caught in the cross fire of the technique, although he probably was. If he could breathe underwater, then he'd be fine, although the crushing force of the water continuously pushing downward to keep anyone caught in it where they were would deal no small amount of damage for sure.
It didn't matter to her though, Kotsubo was only an after thought. She had half a mind to kill him anyhow, but there were other concerns at the moment. Like her depleting chakra reserves and the two ANBU. Her fear was starting to give way to something else though, something stirring within her as the fight for her life kicked in. Something primal inside her that lay dormant. A surge of chakra ran through her as she fueled her technique with her chakra, and her reserves began massively increasing, drawing on her own body's energy.
Her intense focus on coordinating the speed and power of the Water-Heaven's Convergence technique made thinking and planning anything other than the simple thought to smash them into the ground impossible. Inside the bubble she was in, and around the area, her chakra surge was almost noticeable, although it was probably less so important to note than the technique itself was.

Description: This style of combat focuses on fast, flowing combinations utilizing basic principles of Taijutsu. The style uses sheer speed and number of attacks to achieve its goals in contrast to other more strength reliant Taijutsu styles. While those who aren't trained in Taijutsu find that faster strikes tend to lose out on power, a Taijutsu user who has trained in the skill can utilize this style without losing any of their striking power, allowing body mechanics to make up for any power lost. Boosts coordination by one tier with the taijutsu skill and by one plus without it.
Weaknesses: The boosts are lowered by -- if the user doesn't have the taijutsu skill. Their strength is also lowered by - if they don't possess the Taijutsu Skill to represent their lack of true effort in mastering their body.

Description: This technique enhances the user's movements by fortifying their step with chakra. This is essentially a burst of energy to make their body function at higher speeds. This technique boosts the user's movement speed by one tier up to 100 meters. If at any time they stop running they must require an reactivation. The hand seal may be held to constantly refresh the 100 meter limit providing a constant speed increase.
Weaknesses: Just like a full sprint the user must remain in a straight line in order to benefit from the bonus. If the user were to change direction they must reactivate the technique.
Name: Misty Petal Propulsion
Rank: C
Power: C
Activation Cost: 5
Upkeep Cost: 2
Range: N/a
Speed: N/a
Element: N/a
Skill: Taijutsu
Classification: Secret
Requirements: C Rank Coordination
Parent Technique: Petal Dance of the Mist
Hand Seals: N/a
Description: This jutsu allows instant reach of the users desired speed within their own capabilities using chakra flow, allowing them to attain up to their max speed at the moment of takeoff, instead of the user having to build up their speed first. The user builds up chakra inside them and uses it as a burst speed, creating a small whirlwind of petals through the leak off of chakra reminiscent of the other Himitsu Clan Techniques. This jutsu is sometimes mistaken for the Body Flicker Technique, especially when used by the fastest shinobi. The chakra flow increases the user's speed by a tier.
Weaknesses: Although this can be maintained, if the user wants to make a sudden change of direction, they would need to reactivate the jutsu, paying the activation cost again.
Name: Water Release: Water-Heavens Convergence
Rank: A
Activation Cost: 15
Upkeep Cost: 10
Range: 100 m.
Speed: One tier below the user's Coordination
Element: Water
Skill: Ninjutsu
Classification: Village Exclusive
Requirements: -
Parent Technique: -
Hand Seals: Tiger, Dog, Monkey, Snake, Boar, Tiger
Description: This technique enables the user to control water and moisture around oneself much like Gaara controls his sand. It can be used to block most incoming attacks, bind or drown opponents, and shape the water into various attacks, allowing the user in conjunction with the Summoning Technique to allow water-based summonings to fight in areas that it normally need water to move around by either trapping the target in the same water or manoeuvring the water to allow the summon to chase the target. It is able to extract and utilise groundwater, and as is very effective most areas, but useless in rocky areas.
Weaknesses: Just as the technique states it must require a source of water in order to be used. Rocky areas, or dry environments with very little moisture will make this technique unusable.

Effecient Taijutsu Mastery: Having had such extensive training in Taijutsu as to consider it as natural as breathing, Nozomi has managed to bring out peak efficiency in her Taijutsu, expending as little stamina as possible when using Taijutsu techniques. Nozomi's Taijutsu techniques cost 1 rank less chakra.
Hidden Reserves: Nozomi can pull out a hidden well of reserves when she's pushed to her limits, choosing to push herself farther than she should naturally be able to. When she accesses these hidden reserves, her Stamina is increased by a tier, granting her an increased pool of chakra, although this drains her vitality, lowering her Constitution by a tier in the process. Her stamina cannot be boosted to beyond A rank with this though. Instead, if at A rank or above, 20 stamina will be temporarily restored.
Single Minded Focus: When Nozomi gets serious about her fights, and pushes herself, she can remain incredibly focused on her own body movements, increasing her Coordination by a tier. However, this single minded focus on her own actions tends to take away from her own thoughts, getting in the way of more advanced planning. As a result, her intelligence drops by a tier when she's hyper focused on a fight.
3 Tail's Jinchuuriki: All Suiton tech have their cost and maintenance reduced by a rank.
