R.A.J G.Y.O
Royal Auspicious Jeweled General, Yokai-O
Background: You know, background info
Abilities:
- Devil's Perfect Body: The user is able to gain a total of 4 tiers and 2 advantages of unique, passive boosts. Each tier costs 200 exp, and the 2 advantages cost 100. These can be applied to any stat the user likes, in any distribution the user likes, but are designated upon selection and cannot be changed later, unless the user makes use of a reset. [900 exp total]
- Blood Demon Art - Perfumer's Cauldron: Using one's demonic blood as an alchemic medium can produce chemical effects unheard of in the mortal plane. While somewhat simplistic, this allows the user to enhance the abilities of his chemistry items. To this end, he may decrease the countdown of poisons or drugs - that he crafts - by 3 posts, or increase the duration of them by 3 posts instead, but only 1 of these effects can be chosen per drug. Medicine is affected slightly differently, instead reducing the cooldown period of them by half (allowing more medicine to be taken).
Additionally, because of the presence of the user's own blood in the compounds, they are granted a boon regarding their own creations: they are immune to their own poisons, and can never suffer toxicity, overdose, or addition to their own drugs.
[300 exp] - Blood Demon Art - Kiln of Souls A specialize crafting technique requiring the blood, soul, and corrupting will of a demon, this imparts the user's will into their crafted items and permits the user to create a kind of "cursed" items, per their crafting skills. The user is able to expand their senses through anything they have crafted, anywhere in the world, including through non-cursed items, as a reflection of their will burned into their every craft. Sensory skills and chakra sensory are unable to perceive this influence, though emotional sensing can, though it may not be clear what exactly is causing it, and the emotions are not necessarily negative, simply present. The users crafts are enhanced subtly, stirring feelings of desire in any who behold them, and lightly exerting the user's will upon them, which can make it quite undesirable to discard them or give them away [flavor the players are free to interpret as they see fit]. This can range widely, from as little as nothing at all or the simple desire to possess the items the user makes, to a ruinous greed or active preference towards the creator of such items.
For cursed items, these are apped on a case-by-case basis, but are typically more powerful than traditional S rank items, though not so powerful as an X rank. Typically, they are allowed some additional, more powerful effects that border on X rank status, and though their item rank will still be S, they are considered of slight superiority to a "plain" S rank item. However, as cursed items, they come with certain drawbacks, debuffs, and the like. These vary from item to item, but all of them share a similar trait in that they require attunement and are very difficult to remove as attuned items. Finally, the user may use the soul of a slain PC character to forge an X ranked weapon from them. This costs 1000 exp per item, and can be used once per year per crafting type. The user must have the correct crafting type in order to create the item in question (weapon for a sword, etc). The cursed weapon may use certain bloodline aspects and will generally reflect the nature of the person from whom it was made, but retain the drawbacks of being cursed. Further, cursed weapons born from PC's have a much higher corrupting influence, and will attempt to replace the attuned person's soul with that of their wielder (entirely subject to RP, requires the wielder's and original PC player's permission to be "overwritten" by the original soul). [300 exp] - Blood Demon Art - Return of the Demon King A failsafe available to those of Yokai blood, the smith can impart bits of his will into those items he makes. Should the user of this die, he can attempt to reincarnate by fully taking over the body of a person in possession of one of their crafted items. This requires either the possession of a PC or a uNPC of A rank or higher. In either case, the user's will must overpower that of the target in order to replace their soul. This can be done by any valid target willingly by simply giving in to the corrupted influence of the user. Alternatively, the user of this ability may attempt this forcibly on a target in their last moment before death (effectively, at the time a PC character dies). In such a circumstance, once the body dies, it will receive a one-time healing factor of E rank upon the user's soul taking over the target body. This healing factor is increased by 1 rank for each of the following:
- +1 for each S rank (or higher) item the user crafted present on the target's body
- +1 for each item crafted by the user to which the target had attuned
- +1 if any of the prior items were "cursed" items
- +1 for any enchantment made by the user, present on an item the target body possess
- +1 for each seal present on the target body, placed by the user
- +10 if the target body has an implant from the user's body
The healing factor can go as high as X, and will "roll-over" if it extends beyond X, such that the body could have multiple concurrent healing factors at once. The healing factor will last for a number of rounds equal to the above modifier sums. [This essentially allows the user to potentially reincarnate into a body, even if it has been horribly mangled, etc]. Should the user reincarnate successfully, they will inhabit the target body as it is, with the only exception being the user's intelligence stat will take the place of the body's. They will have full use of the target's body, however, their soul will eventually recreate the user's body entirely as it was. After 30 OCC days, the user's "original" body will be reborn entirely, removing any bloodlines the body had. In that time frame, the user could undergo various surgeries in an attempt to preserve these organs from rebirth, but must be able to replace vital organs or live without them during the 30 days. The reincarnation also costs 1,000 experience. If the user does not have the needed spendable experience, they will be immediately put into debt to compensate. [300 exp, requires Kiln of Souls] - Blood Demon Art - Netherworld Resonance Though the full awakening of a Yokai's true powers and Blood Demon Arts is as unique as each individual demon, nearly all versions of a Yokai's enhanced state grant them a much stronger connection with the Far Realms from which they hail, invigorating them with foreign chakras from their home planes. This grants them a Sage Mode style chakra access, costing 50 chakra per 10 chakra available, up to half of their base stamina reserves. As a regular sage, the user may augment a technique by paying half the cost with their Demonic Chakra, increasing it 1 tier in power, not to exceed S rank. Alternatively, the user can choose to instead double the range of a technique in this manner, but can never increase the range and power. Further, the user may replace the cost of their Devil's Eye and related techniques with Demonic Chakra, allowing it to visualize not only chakra, but other energy forms as well (such as sage chakras, bijuu chakra, etc).
- Spoiler:
- Because of these costs, Sages may find themselves depleting their Senjutsu Chakra pool rather quickly, providing a need to renew that energy. By remaining completely still, the Sage can effectively become one with nature, allowing Nature Chakra to flow into his body that he immediately converts to Senjutsu Chakra. This is one of the hardest parts of mastering Sage Mode, but it is a vital skill for any Sage to learn. Remaining still requires that the user wait 72 hours before their pool is filled to 100%. No partial wait times are permitted, the user must wait the full 72 hours or nothing is gathered.
Alternatively, a player can do a mini "flashback" recalling that they gathered Sage chakra at a previous point in time. This allows the user to start with 50% of their Sage Pool filled by paying 250 Experience upon entry into the thread. It requires that the user actually have 250 Spendable Experience available per their most recent update and that they declare their exercise of this option in an OOC note in their post. If they fail to make this declaration in their entrance post, they may not exercise this option.
There are few workarounds to remaining perfectly still, which is practically impossible in battle:
By implanting the Nature Clan Bloodline -- Sages are able to passively absorb Nature Chakra -- though this is less efficient than the traditional method. This adds 5 Senjutsu Chakra per post, regardless of what the Sage is doing.
Similar to the above, a Sage can use the Amphibian, Snake, or Gastropod techniques to temporarily fuse with Animal Sages belonging to their Contract Summon. The animal Sages will attach themselves to the user and gather Nature Chakra and transfer it to the user while they fight. Each of these animals can gather 5 Senjutsu Chakra per post with a maximum of two animals per sage -- limiting the ability to generate 10 Senjutsu Chakra per post. Jinchuuriki and those of the Nature Clan are naturally incompatible with these techniques.
The user can make any number of Shadow Clones to remain still and gather the energy. So long as the clones are within viewing distance of the user, whether by being summoned to them or having been there the whole time, they can be dispersed by the user to transfer all of the Senjutsu Chakra they've gathered to the user. The maximum they can gather is the same as their creator.
