Fun in the sun

Yamato woke up and stretched as he walked over to the window that was in his room and he opened it up. As he did the fresh air from the beach flew past his face, this gave Yamato the idea of going and spending time on the beach. So taking off his shirt Yamato would take some water proof wrappings and wrapped them around his hips, his thighs down to the center of his thighs and around his ass and other private area.

The kazahana would use his sand cloud to float his self and his things down onto the beach. He found a nice area that was close to the water and still had plenty of shade plus sun. The area was also big enough that if people from the exams wished to join him they could. It would be nice to get to know every one else from the exams even tho he was tsuchikage.

Wilderness survival, while certainly not high on the list of things Lily liked to do, was something she had gotten really good at during her time away from Kirigakure. The birds had taught her many things, such as where to sleep, where to find food, and where best to drink water. This island was no different...sort of. Sure she could live off the land, but with the tournament and beach thingie going on she had slowly returned to 'normal' living. Didn't stop her from indulging in her habits, but she had to behave at least a little bit.

Wearing a swimsuit given to her by her summons, Lily had spent the past however long working digging a hole in the beach. it wasn't a big hole so far as the spade she was given was just kind of okay, but she was digging that hole in the sand. The hole was close-ish to the water, far enough away that the waves couldn't reach the lip of the hole, but close enough that she wouldn't need to dig very hard to make a small stream to fill her hole.

As she kept digging, Lily would pause and grab her waterskin, taking a nice sip from it as she caught sight of the mystery man from the opening ceremony stage. Setting the skin down, she'd give the redhead a wave. Lily was pretty curious about those wraps of his; Lily wore wraps because they made for good emergency bandages as well as forcing her to put in some effort when moving her arms. They also were comfy! Sure they got dirty because they were white, but the penguins were kind enough to clean them for here when they needed cleaning.

Finishing up her wave at the mystery redhead, she'd go back to shoveling her hole, tossing sand out again and again as she worked on her comfy little slice of the beach.

The sun was shining bright and he was enjoying the weather. As Yamato was standing there placing his beach stuff down he noticed a girl digging a hole in the sand close to the water. As he looked back up after placing his stuff down he noticed she was waving at him, after getting a good look at her he realized that she was from the opening ceremonies. Yamato walked over to where she was tho he did not get to close, Yamato then kneeled down as he placed his hand on the ground then lifted his hand up and as he did he created a hole bigger then hers.

The sand was now hovering in the air above his hole so moving his hand he threw the sand away from his and her hole. As he was still kneeling down Yamato just looked at the girl as he waved at her while she was digging her hole in the sand. He was not much of a talker so he waited to see if she said anything to him.

Lily would watch as the bandaged man placed a hand onto the ground and did...something. It would take Lily a couple seconds to realize what he was doing as she watched the sand rise from the ground, the man making a hole bigger then hers. She's pause shoveling for a few more seconds as she watched in awe. Thanks to the penguins she had seen a lot of cool water nin...jutsu and knew that other elements could be used, but this seemed...different. Supposedly Earth jutsu was connected together, was this earth or something else? She didn't see him use any hand seals, so it was a complete mystery for her.

It was a mystery she wanted to solve. Setting her shovel down Lily would move to the edge of her hole and gave the man a look before speaking. "How did you move the sand? I didn't see you use any hand movements." Already forgetting that the proper term was 'hand seals' in favor of learning what this was, she'd climb out of her hole and sit next to the wrapped man cross-legged and eager eyed.

As she take her seat upon the sand she'd take a better look at him, not knowing he was a kage at all. to her he was just some mystery man who could move sand with his mind, or maybe his hands? The penguins had taught her the basics, but since coming here it was becoming clearer that perhaps they didn't know everything.

The young lady saw what Yamato could do with the sand and instantly she was tranced on his every movement. She asked him how he could move the sand with out using any hand signs, he said hand movement but he understood what she meant. Yamato just chuckled as she stopped digging and climbed out from inside of her hole and sat cross legged beside of Yamato.

" Well for me that is as easy as breathing for my Bloodline allows me to manipulate and control sand at will. Like watch I can even do stuff like this."

Placing both of his hands over the sand Yamato concentrated real hard then bringing his hands up he created a small down to the detal Japanese castle made from the sand. He was sure that this young lady would enjoy seeing something like that if she was thrilled just to see him move some sand.

As zenaku was chatting with the girl a messenger bird would fly down and land on Yamato shoulder. Taking a look at it he reached up and grabbed the letter and read it. It was nothing to important but it would seem tho that the tsuchikage was needed back at the village so he put the paper up and looked at the young girl.

" I'm sorry young lady but it would seem that I am needed else where for the moment. It was nice meeting you and I hope we can meet again in the future."

With that Yamato picked up his beach stuff and headed back towards iwa.

Lily patiently watched as the man explained his fancy wizard magic, alongside the appearance of the messenger bird. It was a shame to see the man leave, but not everyone could take time to play; Kit-Kit made that clear as a princess. Still, she'd wave him goodbye alongside a smile. People liked smiles.

Standing up from her hole, she'd walk over to the sand castle that the bandage man had made and squatted by it, taking the time to study it's intricate work. Lily did not have the mind to understand how to build something as fancy as a house, especially a miniature house, but she did understand the craftsmanship and precision it takes to do so from her time working and perfecting weapons. She could see the small details, from the rise in the rooftops to the small indents where doors and windows could be. He had skill, a lot of skill. It was a shame that it was fleeting. She knew that eventually the water would reclaim it, it claimed a lot of things she had learned. Boats, people, sandwiches, sand witches. Yet for now it would stand.

Returning to her hole, Lily would dig again, but this time with purpose. She'd pull out the sand, get it wet, then build. It would take her a good thirty minutes in total, but a focused mind didn't care about time. When she was done, Lily would wipe her hands in the water clean and look at what she had made. It wasn't much or very good, but it was a sandperson and a sandpenguin, watching over the fancy sand castle.

Satisfied with her work, she'd pick up her tools and go back to...well she wasn't sure yet, but she'd figure it out eventually!
