Yamato's journey to greatness

Yamato returned to the stone yard which was iwa training field. He was gonna need to gain a lot of strength very quickly if he was gonna be able to protect his village now that he was the new tsuchikage of iwa. it would be a shame if there was another attack on his home village and he was not able to do anything about it. First thing he was gonna need to do was focus on learning some new jutsu for his arsenal then start working on his chakra pool and try to increase its capacity. 


Yamato would raise his hands out in front of him, his palms facing down towards the ground. A magnetic pulse would Emmitt from his hands that would then cause the sand all around him to start forming into a round platform. Yamato Kazahana would then step up onto the sand structure as he practiced for hours how to stay balanced on it, he was gonna need a form of transportation and this would work greatly.

After Yamato was able to get a grasp on the jutsu he was working on it was time to start learning another one, unfortunately he was only able to learn D and C rank jutsu right now but once he got stronger then he can start to learn even more powerful jutsu. The next jutsu that Yamato was gonna learn was one that would let him sense and find those that would be invisible or undetected with the naked eye. 

This was another jutsu that did not need the use of any hand signs so again Yamato would raise his hands out in front of him as he spread his sand around a 60 meter radius on both the ground and air. You could see the small sand particles floating around just waiting to be able to find someone. This was a good technique for those that dose not have the Sensory ability.

Yamato the new tsuchikage was making great progress with his training as he had learned a good deal of his magnet style jutsu. But that was still not good enough for him as he knew that there was still so much more that he could learn. The young Kazahana would walk around the stone yard as he would place target marks to practice his aim. After he had set them up Yamato stood back and took a look at where they was all at. Yamato nodded to him self as he began to get ready to train. This was of corse not going to be easy since it was a c rank jutsu but he would put his all into learning it. 

Using his magnet style Yamato would raise the sand up off the ground as he would then start to form that sand into small clumps. Using his free form manipulation of the sand Yamato began to shoot the sand clumps towards the target's and hoped that he would be able to hit them. He could feel that he was starting to run low on chakra but he still had so much more training to do. luckily tho he was able to hit less then half his targets but he still managed to hit them which was good.

Knowing that he was running low on chakra Yamato knew that he had just enough chakra to learn one more jutsu. This one tho was gonna be the hardest one yet cause he had to use hand signs and link his sand to his optic nerve in his eye. He was kinda worried that if he messed it up that the sand would damage his eye and make it all scratchy. But he knew that if he pulled this off he would have a very useful jutsu up his sleeve. 

Yamato began by forming the hand signs for the jutsu which was Snake → Monkey → Rat → Monkey → Bird → Monkey → Dragon → Monkey → Rat → Monkey. It took him a few seconds longer then he would want but after he formed the hand signs for the jutsu Yamato would close one eye as he placed two index fingers over his eye. As he did the sand would slowly form into a medium sized eye ball and Yamato could see everything that the eye could see. This was most definitely gonna come in hand later down the road. for now tho Yamato decided to take a break and get something to eat. Luckily he had brought him some food from home.

it had been a day since Yamato took his break from training and he was back with a full tank of chakra. He still had so much to learn in such a little amount of time. But at least Yamato knew that he could do it and so he got ready to start his training for the second day. He knew that he did not have time right now for relaxing and taking it easy so he got right in to it. 

Today Yamato had 4 jutsu that he planned to learn and the first one was a jutsu called the body flicker jutsu. This jutsu placed chakra under a person's feet which allowed them to increase there speed for a quick burst. It was kinda like the tree climbing and water walking that all ninja are taught when at the academy. So taking his hand Yamato would form the tiger hand sign then focused really hard. He would gather his chakra into the bottom of his feet then he would run. But since he was still trying to get the hang of the jutsu Yamato accidentally ran right into a tree and fell onto his back. He still had some fine tuning on it before he could properly use it in battle.

Yamato as he was sitting there thinking of what jutsu to learn next had something roll across his mind. He was suddenly thinking of genjutsu tho not as something to use cause he could never understand the concept of genjutsu but if he was placed in a genjutsu him self he would need a way to stop its flow. That's when he thought of the technique called genjutsu Kai, this ability allows the user to break out of a genjutsu after they have been placed in one. 

The idea behind it was not to hard to understand, if you happen to notice that your in a genjutsu you would use chakra to go into your brain and stop the genjutsu. But since there was no one around right now to put him in a genjutsu so he could practice it more he would just have to go by its knowledge of what it can do. Sitting on the ground cross legged Yamato would place his hands together as he would send the chakra up though his chakra net work and into his brain. He knew that he was not under a genjutsu at the moment but that did not mean he did not need to learn how to control his chakra so it flowed easier and quicker.

Tho Yamato is currently the tsuchikage he was not born in iwa, his clan the kazahana clan originates from the land of wind in the hidden sand village. But after the ransacked of the village by Chen the butcher iwa took control of the nation just as Konohagakure had done to iwa after there previous tsuchikage was killed and the village destroyed. Yamato had the magnet style blood line which means he also had the ability to use earth and wind style jutsu. 

Since he did not have much wind style jutsu under his belt Yamato decided that it would probably be a good idea to learn a few of the techniques that way he had different types of attacks to use. Looking around Yamato found a good sized tree that he could use as a target. Focusing on his breathing Yamato would inhale a large amount of air into his lungs, then by mixing his chakra into it Yamato exhaled and as he did a large ball of air went flying out as it smashed into the tree. He watched as the tree broke and splintered out in all directions. This was gonna be a good attack to use as it had both speed and assault power behind it.

It was that time again as the sun was slowly sitting and Yamato was bent over catching his breath. Sweat had drenched his hair and it was slowly running down his face and making a small puddle on the ground. The tsuchikage was in the middle of trying to learn a wind style jutsu called the great breakthrough. But it was harder then he had first thought, tho this was not gonna stop him even if he was running low on chakra and needed to take a break. He was the tsuchikage and needed to get stronger which meant breaking past his limits. 

After taking a small break and catching his breath Yamato was ready to continue on with his training. He felt that he was almost on the verge of a breakthrough and almost had the jutsu down pat but he knew that he still had a little bit to go. Tiger → Ox → Dog → Rabbit → Snake forming the hand seals that is needed Yamato gathered up the wind between his hands before letting the wind go as it shot forwards tearing up the ground and that around it. It looked like it created a tunnel as it rushed forwards destroying ground and trees alike and even large rocks. Now that he had that under his belt Yamato took a small nap to regain his lost chakra.

The tsuchikage had been fully rested and his chakra had returned to normal. It was now back to the grinding on his training. Today Yamato decided that he was gonna learn some earth style jutsu so that he could strengthen both his offensive and defensive capabilities. There was other things he would love to try his hands at but for right now he would stick to what he knows. Yamato reached into the inside of his brownish red vest as he grabbed a scroll that he had tucked inside. Opening it up he would begin to peek inside of the scroll as he took his index finger and started running down the names of earth jutsu that was written down inside of it. 

As he was scrolling down the list of jutsu he saw one or two that caught his eye. So rolling back up the scroll and tucking it back into his vest Yamato would prepare to cast the earth jutsu. Tiger | Boar | Ox | Yamato would preform the hand seals then slammed the palm of his hands down onto the ground and as he did he watched as the earth spiraled and twisted into the ground. This would surely become a good jutsu when he was in a sticky situation.

The tsuchikage was starting to run out of jutsu that he could current train at his level, yes he might be the leader of this village now but just cause he became the tsuchikage did not suddenly make it to where he could learn high ranking jutsu. But that was going to change. After he had finished up here with his training he would have to head to his clan district and take care of some business. But for now Yamato needed to finish leaning the jutsu he was busy practicing. 

The jutsu did not have any hand signs but he knew what he had to do or so he at least thought he did. Yamato would focus his chakra though his body as he would slowly mold into the earth. He had now become one with his surroundings, he was able to still move around freely but he now looked like part of the stones and ground. After deactivating the jutsu Yamato would pack up his training care and headed for the kazahana housing district as he had some business to take care of that was of the most importance.

Yamato had returned to the stone yard as he was gonna try to get some more training in before he headed off to where the chunin exams was being held. There was also the fact that he needed to be prepared just in case some trouble broke out at the exam then he would be able to some what hold his own. He was just not sure what to do since he could not train any new jutsu right now, as he was he could only learn D and C rank jutsu.

He was still not able to use any jutsu that was of higher rank as the fact his chakra level would just not allow it. So maybe it would be best to just train the jutsu he did have so he would have a better grasp on it for when he went into battle.

The tsuchikage had been busting his butt as he was out on the training field working and practicing his jutsu. He was making sure to become more efficient with the technique and for that he had to make sure to keep training them. As he was training he kept noticing a man standing by large stone Boulder as he had his arms crossed and had a very serious expression on his face, but for the mean time Yamato just ignored him.

That was until the man finally had the nerve to walk over to where the tsuchikage was training at. Looking up Yamato would be ready to greet the man tho he did not speak to the man he just stared the man down.

" So your the new tsuchikage that every one has been talking about ha. I gotta say you don't seem like anything special. I came here to get a good look at yeah and to challenge you to a fight."

Yamato just stood there as he smiled towards the man from under his Bandaged wrapped face, this would be his first fight since he had become the tsuchikage. He had had fights before with bandits and other genin but he was not sure how strong this person before him was. For all Yamato knew the guy could be a chunin or even jonin and if that was the case then he would be screwed.

" If you wish to fight me then fine by be but I am curious what rank are you."

Yamato would ask the man as sand began to spill forth from his gord that he carried around on his back. The man just smiled when he heard Yamato ask him that.

" Do not worry my lord we all know you was nothing more then a lowly genin when you took over as the tsuchikage so I to am a genin but after I win the chunin exams I shall be one rank higher."

The two ninja would just stand there as they waited for the other to make the first move but the other ninja realized that Yamato was not gonna move or even try to advance so he decided to make the first move. The man would reach behind him as he pulled out a tanto blade and started to slowly move around Yamato as he was probably trying to find the best vantage point.

The ninja was not to shabby on his quickness as he placed one foot forward and then quickly made his way to in front of Yamato. The ninja took his tanto blade and attempted to stab at the tsuchikage but the kazahana just used his sand and brought it up in front of him like a shield and stopped the sword from being able to stab him.

" Your gonna have to do better then that. I might be the genin kage but I'm not a push over. If you wish to beat me you are gonna have to bring your A game."

Yamato said as the ninja backed up to get some distance between him self and the tsuchikage. He could see now that beating the tsuchikage was not gonna be a easy task.

The man just laughed after he jumped back and got some space between him self and the tsuchikage. He must had known that his tanto blade was not going to do much damage to him especially if he could not get close enough to cut him with it. The man would put his blade away, but he did not move away from where he was at. If Yamato had to guess he was probably trying to find a opening or a blind spot in the kazahana defense.

The ninja would decide on a plan cause he would suddenly take in a deep breath before he let out a stream of wind that formed into a single blade of wind. Yamato would then also preform a set of hand seals as he them slammed the palm of his hands down on to the ground making a small earth shield to form. It was able to stop the attack even tho the first attack smashed it into lots of small bits.

So far the fight between the two men was pretty even as neither one has been able to land a hit on the other. But as the earth shield that Yamato had used to stop the wind blade crumbled the tsuchikage could not see the ninja anywhere. It's as if he was there one moment and gone the next. Tho he knew that a ninja could mask there presence so he would need to keep his guard up.

Yamato was looking around but he just did not know just where he was gonna come up from. But that was when it came to him, he had completely forgotten that he could use his sand to fly around on. So forming a sand cloud Yamato stepped up on it, from there Yamato would ascend up into the air where the ninja would not be able touch him.

As Yamato hovered about 40 feet up in the air he looked on to the ground trying to find where the ninja would pop up from. Just then a large stone went flying past his head so looking to where the stone came from Yamato looked in that direction but for some reason he was not able to see the man. Just then it happened again but this time the stone managed to get evene closer to Hitting his head as it flew past him.

Yamato would gather up his sand into small clumps as he had them close to the ground and finally the tsuchikage managed to catch the ninja. He was using a hidden in stone jutsu so Yamato was not able to see him, but using the sand drizzle jutsu Yamato hit the ninja in the chest with it which caused him to hit the ground.

Yamato knew that the jutsu was not that powerful but he knew that it was at least good enough to get the ninja out of the hiding in stone jutsu long enough for Yamato to do something. Yamato would jump down from his cloud of sand as he landed back on the ground. Yamato would then form the hand signs tiger|Boar|Ox as he then slammed the palms of his hands down on to the ground. " Earth Release: Tearing Earth Turning Palm jutsu"

He watched as the earth around the the ninja began to turn and twist under him, unfortunately the ninja was faster then Yamato thought as he managed to get out of the jutsus radius before the earth managed to swallow him up. " Tsc that was a good attempt lord tsuchikage but not good enough to beat me. I think it's about time to show you a ace I was hiding up my sleeve."

Yamato wondered just what this ace that the ninja said he had up his sleeve was. Did he have some kind of power up or some special jutsu. He would soon find out as the ninja began to Weave his hand signs in a very quick manner. Once he was done the ninja would inhale a lot of breath and when he exhaled he shot out a large fire type jutsu that looked just like a large fireball. He had not seen many ninja in iwa that was able to use the fire release jutsu.

He did not have many defensive capabilities just yet and the only one he had was the one jutsu he already used once. So Yamato started weaving his own set of hand signs which was ox|Hare|Dragon then he slammed the palm of his hands onto the earth as a earth wall rose up and stopped the fire ball from hurting him. unfortunately the wall exploded and sent the kazahana tumbling back some before he rose back to his feet.

" Ha ha ha ha ya. Is that all you have tsuchikage, here I thought you would be better seeing as your the tsuchikage and all. I hope your not finished yet cause I have not had my feel of fun yet. "

The ninja started laughing as he said that he wanted more fun and Yamato was not against that. He also enjoyed a good fight just like any one else. The other ninja thought that he was gonna be able to escape from the tsuchikage view once again using the hidden in stone jutsu but Yamato was not gonna let him do that.

The kazahana would raise his arms and as he did the sand around him started to spread in the air and around the stone yard. The sand particles would find where he was at as they all started gathering onto him which brought him out of hiding.

Now that the sand was making it so that the ninja could no longer be hiding from the kage. " Awe I'm sorry I hope you didn't plan on hiding from me again, how are we supposed to have our fun"

Yamato said as he was smiling from under his face coverings. Yamato would then take in a deep breath and then when he exhaled he sent a flying wind blade towards the the ninja, the other ninja would then do the same thing as he blew out a wind blade and Yamato watched as the two attacks would clash into one another. As the two wind blades collided it caused a large gust of wind to blow back.

Yamato was starting to run low on chakra but he was not sure what the other person was at but he did not seem as if he was any where near finished with the fight. He was not sure how long this fight was gonna last but he would need to find a way to end it. He had a few other jutsu that he could use in his wheel house but he was almost not sure that his plan would work. As he was trying to come up with a plan the ninja suddenly rushed in towards Yamato as he began to throw hands and feet using swift and precise strikes of Taijutsu.

Lucky for Yamato as the ninja was striking at him with his fast paced Taijutsu the sand that the kazahana controlled was blocking every strike made against him. No matter what the ninja did he was just not able to get past Yamato Defenses. Using the sand Yamato would try to lash out with it to try and attack the ninja but he was just to quick and was able to get away from the attack.

" Smart move on your part tsuchikage but just to slow to get me. If you wish to hit me your gonna have to think at least two moves ahead but from the way your attacking your having a hard time thinking up just the move your gonna use."

The ninja kinda had a point he had to get better and not only did he need to get stronger with his jutsu but he also needed to become smarter as well. But he could think of that after he had beat the ninja before him. It was not as if he had forever to beat him either as he needed to be leaving for the chunin exams as he did not wish to be late and miss the opening ceremonies.

It was time that Yamato started using the jutsu he had not used yet to see if any of those would be of use tho he was still not initially sure that anything he did would work against this ninja, he had three nature transformation and he was skilled in Taijutsu.

It was now time for Yamato to start on his attack so he started to Weave his hand signs, the hand signs where as followed. Tiger Ox tiger snake. Just as he was finished with his hand signs he watched as the ground under the other ninjas feet suddenly turned into mud as it attempted to try and wash him down the stone yard as it would knock his feet from under him.

He watched as the mud river slammed him right into a large Boulder which was good cause it was about time the young Kazahana was able to get the upper hand. Just then as the ninja was laying there he suddenly threw a few kuni towards Yamato but he just used his sand to block the knifes.
