It seemed like there was not much else for Seiryu to do on these many islands that were under the jurisdiction of Kirigakure no Sato. While venturing towards and entering the village would likely provide Seiryu with other means of occupying his time, entering a major shinobi village was something he would much prefer to avoid. He was an unknown in the world of Shinobi and he much preferred to keep it that way. So with visiting the Village Hidden by Mist out of the question, it only left Seiryu with one of two possible destinations that were in his mind. The first was the obvious, the Land of Bears. A formal invitation had been given to him by Mai, the individual who ran the day-to-day operations of Darkhvale. The other option Seiryu had available to him was the constantly haunting thought of returning to the Land of Fangs; to return home and visit his family. It was a notion that was constantly plaguing him, and it likely would continue until he returned to give his mind some piece. Between the two destinations, it was a simple decision for Seiryu to make. Either way, he would need to cross the Kaizoku Sea to return to the mainland.
