Take things in stride: for 5 chakra, Koharu can trade out 1 teir of his perception for 1 teir into intel. They are much smarter than they might initially seem, but they are always a bit spacey. Sometimes, all they need is some focus.
Muscle man: Koharu is not strong or muscular, but they have enough to get by. Most of the time, they move really slow, but with a bit of a push they can get going. They can trade out 1 teir of strength to increase 1 teir of speed.
sculptor and artist: Koharu spends much of their free time on creative pursuits, and developed a fondness of their clay techniques for allowing them a degree of creative freedom in their grusome ninja work. Blast release techniques are 1 rank cheaper in chakra cost, but their relaxed, carefree nature doesn't blend as well with lightnining release, and these techs are 1 rank more expensive.
Appearance:
The Kotoshura, as artists, love to break tradition. Koharu's sense of fashion could certainly be said to do this. He creates, paints, and wears masks out of clay, displaying them over their attire. This is clearly prideful, as he only chooses his best, or favorate masks. Often, they display childish motifs, themes, and characters, such as the fox mask that is made to mimic what the anbu wear, but remain distinct and expressive. Occasionally, his art takes on darker themes, but Koharu only displays art that brings joy.
Other than this, Koharu's features are similarly unique. Koharu dyes their hair a deep blue, something done purely to stand out from the other Kotoshura. His eyes are naturally a deep brown that may appear red at times, which set him apart naturally from his blue eyed, blonde family. He stands at about five feet and three inches, and is a bit chubby and flabby in places most ninja aren't.
History:
Koharu was enirely opposed to the idea of being a ninja, and so they refrained from learning ninjutsu until a year or two ago. Their family respected their desire to stay out of this line of work, the Kotoshura are well known as a variety of things, and they had work easily available in the form of mining clay and such. After getting a taste of that, though, Koharu knew that they were destined for greater things. The life of a nine to five was for better men. Koharu applied as a ninja, barely making it through the academy by vurtue of their breif chiuldhood training and bloodline abilities.
Personality:
Koharu is a free spiritted young artist in a world that wants him to do things that have nothing to do with that. Modern life is about crushing all the hope out of you, so all you have to do is escape. Thats exactly what Koharu does. Whether he is putting on a false persona for the benefit of some genin, or painting an elaberate landscape, Koharu finds a way to escape the pressures of life even at the expense of everything else. As a result, his personality, to an outside observer, can be inconsistant, brash, or exagerated. He could be considered fickle, but he is far from disloyal. A truly beautiful person deserves to be loved. At least, to Koharu, but then beauty is a very different thing to different people.
He is also quite lazy at times. It takes a lot to get him motivated. He does his job fine. This is conistantly a suprise to both him and his superiors.
He can be quite immature, as well, finding pleasure in childish jokes and games. He refains from being a prankster, but he can still be a bit mischivious. Koharu's childish nature is on full display both in his art and his other hobbies, such as collecting things. Shoved into the shitty little appartment that he calls home is hundreds and hundreds of collectables. This can range from jewelry and art to plushies and toys and boardgames. This collection overtakes their life, and they occasionally give away random things they can no longer fit into their home, which has become total chaos.
