| Kurenai's arrival was the pre-cursor to her getting a 'boost' to her latent bloodline, the Uzumaki. A point of contention for the Hyuuga which lead her to be banished from Konoha due to her imperfect and impure lineage. Now that all came full-circle as she was going to activate her blood inheritence from her father. She was now resting upon the operating table dressed in only a gown that opened from the back. A small hole was cut upon the belly of her gown and drawings were made upon her stomach on where the incision would be. She was staring at the bright operating lights for a moment as the three medical ninja gathered around her. Rikyo, the main doctor was already scrubbed up and ready for the operation and his two assistants -- his grand daughter, Kisana as well as his distant cousin Kurenai. She took a deep breath in as Rikyo stood up and held his hand out. "Are you ready for this operation, lady Airi? I had went and purchased the required drugs before this operation. Are you sure you want to continue?" "Of course!" she said brightly before turning to look towards Kurenai, grasping Kurenai's hand and squeezed it. "Thank you. If you only knew how much this means to me Kurenai. I'm sorry it had to be from you," she stated with Kurenai shaking her head. "Honestly, it's not a big deal, big sister Airi. None at all. Just come out of this operation safely, alright?" she said before releasing Airi's hand and goes to scrub up. | Airi closed her eyes as Rikyo placed a face mask over her nose and mouth and started to pump an anesthetic into her body. "Now, do me a favor Airi and count backwards from 10," the doctor said as Airi opened her eyes for a moment to look at the sillhouette of the doctor. "10... 9... 8..........." she said before her voice dragged on for a bit and her eyes closed shut. She was completely unconscious. Taking the mask off of Airi's face, the doctor cleared his throat and turned to look towards Kisana. "Be a dear and disinfect the surgical area for me," he said before stepping back. "Yes grandfather," she said before pulling out a bottle of iodine and some cotton before squirting some of the iodine onto the cotton and began to run around the areas of the incision within the marked off box. Airi's flesh was temporarily stained a reddish brown as Kisana rubbed in the iodine. At this time, Kurenai started to sharpen the scalpel that would be used to carve into Airi -- sharpening it properly with oil and a whetstone. Kurenai finished sharpening the scalpel, cleaning it with a cotton square and rubbing alcohol after having stropped upon a leather belt. The blade was razor sharp and completely sanitized. All that was left now was for the doctor to get prepared to operate. The doctor wiped sweat from his brow and his heartrate started to rise. Realizing what he did, he took off the gloves and walked over to the wash station with Kurenai as they both washed up and gloved up. After the two gloved up, Kurenai assisted Doctor Rikyo with his operating gloves. "Are you girls ready? Don't want to accidentally kill the former Hokage now, would we?" | Several hours after the surgery was over, Airi woke up and felt no pain once the anesthetic wore off. She placed a hand upon her gut at the site of the surgery and patted around, not even feeling a single stitch or cut into her. "What the hell? Did you guys actually do surgery on me?" Airi asked as she turned and looked over to see her distant cousin, Kurenai, sitting in a chair next to her. Kurenai just chuckled and nodded. Kurenai lifted her shirt to show that there wasn't any sign of injury on her either. This stunned Airi as she stared off into the distance for a brief moment. "Oh. I see. So this is the power of the Uzumaki?" Airi asked as Kurenai stood up and hugged Airi. "Yes, that's the power that you had deep within you, cousin.
