Swinging Hammers

With the Tower completed, it was time to return to work. With the tower completed, he'd need to test out the new facilities, though he also needed to update some of his designs. For now, he'd simply use some of the molds for a more simple task, moving away from his engineering kick and shoring up a few missing components for a couple of his puppets. He had a so many designs but needs kept shifting so swiftly. Though he did have at least one pair of binoculars to start with, so he would being there first. Given enough time, he might squeeze in a few more arrows.

Once he had completed however, inspiration would strike him and he would connect a string to himself, entering a kind of deep meditation as he did so. He had been thinking quite a lot recently about many things, but his mind had wandered more and more frequently to the topic of combat, of puppets, and of battle field strategy. Such strangeness recently in the world; Kumo had apparently fallen but no one had moved to do a thing; mysterious floating castles of illusions; strange, opportunistic forces propositioning him. Illogical shifts to the world, some big and some small, kept happening out of seemingly nowhere. As he meditated on this and enchanced himself thorugh his chakra powers and the wonderous chakra threads which he was able to so powerfully manifest, he would feel himself gain some insight into the world. He'd never thought to do something like this, but it made sense. In fact, it was was ninja did. Shinobi behaved like this, and he would need to behave as such. He focused more chakra into the technique, once more continuing to go so far as to increase his isnight but also to sharpen his eyes and general aquity with perceiving the whole world and such kinds of things. Then he would go a step further and infuse more chakra again. His body would speed up, just a touch, but perhaps just enough to aid him a bit in combat if needed. Among the other benefits, the manueverability and ability to manipulate his puppets to a higher degree, this owuld benefit him greatly in combat and many other aspects. But one was that he had greater perception and insight and knowledge generally, which was not really logical at all. But it worked for whatever reason. This would allow him to better create compounds and the like as well.

And so he would move on to make a a large collection of arrows. He had so many but a new blueprint came to him and he would make those insetad and he did nothink he would need them but he would make them just in case. He supposed he could just seal them up now more than anything and so he could jsut do that. But if he couldn't then it would just be items and money, nothing really much. He would make them anyway and use the molds that he had to do it. God knew what they were for.

Out to the markets, Gyo would peruse the various shops and specialty wares. He thought about putting together some kind of magazine or something of that kind to let others know what was available, but then thought better of it. Who cared really. Still, he knew there had been some new designs in his absence, so he went to inspect them and found some... strange items. A few of the crafting materials were incredibly stupid and shouldn't exist, but also they weren't.... very useful. Still, people could not stop raving about them, so he'd pick a few up. Some semi-interesting chems, nothing really special, and and intriguing weapon or two. Quite nice for those ones. He'd stop buy his own shop as well to buy a couple things.

He would begin crafting again. He had recently created a new blueprint for some powerful swords, but did not yet have a few of the pieces in place to fully take advantage of another of his blueprints that would significantly lower his expended time. For now though, he'd make the increased, suped up version of the swords that would be at their highest capacity. He would use his new Wondlekonnign to increase his intelligence to allow him to more efficiently create the raw materials he would need. Living Metal, a modern engineering marvel, nearly beyond comprehension. So effective, simple, and useful. And so potent against the reigning, powerful material in Midnight Ore. He'd whip a batch up in the lab before moving on to smith the swords themselves, the Soaring Swords. He would need additional techniques to use with them. Between the smithing of the blades as well, he'd pop out to the market to buy a scroll. He would then use the finger carving seal to seal up a host of his puppets via the enclosing technique into the seals, carving the seals into the finger stalls so that he would never be without the dolls should he need. Of course he would not seal his ghost waltz or his VIP cape, for he would continue to repeatedly wear them. The VIP did seem slightly redundant at this point but no real matter. He'd need to load up some of his various items into puppets, but he'd also need to make at least two more sooner than later. No matter for now.

Return for the sake of returning, he would begin again upon his crafting journey. Despite so few customers generally, he felt as if he had an infinite amount of things he needed to make and do and complete, so he was able to keep himself quite busy. Strange, but he supposed it made sense; his personal methods for self-preservation were more... complicated than those of most he had met. Kiyoshi might have rivaled him, if the man had the brains to do so. Though again, rivalry on this front did not mean terribly much, and it was not until very recently that Gyo himself had managed to build up the chakra reserves necessary to sustain himself beyond a very simplistic method. And, partially due to this, he would need to make a few more of those swords he made, though these would be of a higher quality of course. For you see, his eyes could see further now as he had progressed to the apex of the known powers of the Tengu. A one two punch of sorts really.

And so he would go about making the new set, using the full capacities of the forge in question, as well as the newfound powers of his bloodline to enhance his own abilities with weapon smithing. The same items as before, the flying swords, enhanced to the level of the soaring swords but at a much more economical rate. At least in this one area, he could not be challenged, not that he had even the slightest idea that he would be selling these of course. These, these were for him and himself alone.

Once more to  the grindstone he would begin work on an absurdly large boat. He had not a great deal of experience in the realm of building ships yet he had cooked up a few blueprints to work through. Perhaps more consuming of his time than the actual building was the logistics of the whole affair. The fabrication of the materials was of no obstacle to him, for he had previously made the unique components before. He invented them for heavens sake, and the notion of a ship crafted heavily from living metal was almost too clever even for himself. His extreme wealth naturally meant that he would never really neeed to pay close attention to the level of repairs in his equipment or vehhicles for swarms of paid attendants and mechanics could perform repairs for him at a moment's notice in any port on earth, but the living metal would mitigate the needs and keep a ship in good care even for years on the open waters. And thus he began.

Much of his time was spent directing local help as he constructed the vessels. He first made himself the yacht he had sketched out, acting as a kind of foreman to the workers while helping out on some of the finer and more technical aspects. The days flew by as they went about their work with Gyo ultimately commissioning the creation of 3 separate yacht. He was nothing it not over the top and a tad cautious, for he intended to have a spare or two if necessary. A pair of 70m super-yachts for his little personal fleet, as well as a 3rd option, a 150m mega yacht to shame other vessels. It would not hold a candle to the old glory of the Heavenly Emporium of course, but as far as ships went it would have no peer. Pleasure unbounded in that place of debauchery. And perhaps his 3rd shop too? Time would tell. He toyed then with the blueprints of his sea farring base but temporarily thought better of it. Great expense without significant returns at the present moment it seemed, so no particular rush in that. He did wish he could get the ships of his to go a little faster. Some technically fuckery no doubt. Certainly he would think of something else to make, but for the time he supposed he could simply round out his collection of Flying Swords augmented with his anvil. He would complete 5 new of those, at which point he assumed that it was probably more than enough at this point.

Gyo had finished crafting for now and so he would leave, exiting that current place to go somewhere else, which was not here.

Orders from Okane came with extreme infrequency, so the missive was a surprise. Simple order, note entirely clear for who, but nothing spectacular. Gyo actually found it confusing these things hadn't taken over the ninja world; they were so simple to use and relatively uncomplicated to make. Even if they didn't instantly do the job, the presented a pretty strong threat than anyone, even civilians could use. Whatever. He had no other pending project right now and couldn't bring himself to make another flying sword for the time being, so he popped over to the market to get some ebony. Stuff was difficult to find of late, which was... odd. But either way, he grabbed some and went to work, forging up the base plates before constructing the internal mechanisms. Simple to do to the point of tedium for him, but money was money.

Working once again, these would for his own advances, his own people. He'd been a famous criminal for some time, or at least infamous, but as he became more and more powerful and authoritative in the sense of traditional shinobi he had attracted more... positive attention. It reminded him of his days as a singer actually, with groupies following him around. Most recently, a fellow clansmen from the underworld, who would need a bit of kitting out. He had come up with some plans for designer watches and a line of fanciful hats and clothing, not really defensive in nature, but more a display of wealth. The hat was nothing so difficult, a mere work of sewing an absolutely impeccable design taste, but it did require some iterations to be truly ready. The watch was much more interesting, and connecting all of the various gears and mind-boggling complications kept him in a state of rapt attention. It was almost like manipulating and crafting his puppets, or moving pieces across a chess or Shogi board. His attendants would scurry out to the broader market to get him his supplies, for they were nothing particularly special, but just the basic - if higher end - readily available materials. Fine to be sure, but nothing that required his particular chemical genius.

Finishing yet another round, he would move on, having a great deal of new things to get a move on regarding. The commissions kept coming in lately and he almost did not have time to do them all. However, he had a few things of his own to get to first, requiring even more arrows than he already had. But first, he would take one of the few bits of Senju wood that Diana had left to him, placing it not into a puppet, but into Hinan, a cursed bow pulled from his dreams. The sinobi lands did not have many archers, but he had met one at a point in time that he thought might be a good placement in Suna. Using his molds, he would then shift to a full 100 pieces of the Hama Ya to pair with the bow, allowing one to become a profoundly talented archer so long as they had the pair. The Hakai no Ya would be the step next, but for now he did not have a great amount of time before having to get through the bunker buster kunai. He would, though, make sure to start on the making of a batch of Midnight Ore for their use.

He'd shirked on the commissions long enough, and though he would have improved upon the designs somewhat if it were him, this was only due to his unique eye technique, not any shortcoming on Okane's part. He had made some of the wonderous Midnight Ore already and was almost loathe to part with it, but money was money, and the clients had ordered these bunker busters. He once more found himself wondering how on earth these weren't everywhere. Were he a kage... er.... a different kage who couldn't make them himself, he would be ordering them nonstop. These were, without a doubt, some of the single most powerful pieces of basic ammunition he had encountered. But alas, this was not really his problem. The design was a basic kunai with enhanced materials, so making them was no real challenge, and the molds he had would ensure he had plenty. He was closing in on the end of these commissions now too, which meant he could return to the endless outfitting of his puppets.

He was never without something to do it seemed, never without something to make. The needs of a village - even one controlled remotely - were vast, much more so than even his personal little army of puppets. He still needed to contact an armor crafter, but he had a few more things to get under his belt for now. For one of the primary guardians of Suna, he had a few more things to create, one which would take a decent chunk of time. However, he also needed to create a few more of his basic items to disperse for the village, namely his binoculars. He'd settle in to get a quick pair in for now before he would move forward with some extra things after that. A cloak to help conceal oneself, he could see it now. From the midst of the raging sandstorm, a flurry of deadly arrows for any foolish enough to attack the holdings of Stag.

More crafting, more fun. Mostly a bunch of auto crafts, but a few of them there heartbreaker arrows but the comissions seemed to never stop coming. Luckly he did not need to do much in the wya of fabricating any chemicals or compounds for this round, but he would want to explore this midnight ore much more intricately in the future. For now, the round of arrows, plus a sword that Okane seemed to need him to make. Something for a scorch user it would appear, which was odd as the clan wsa quite low on the population scale it seemed. He wondered if he should get some support from them in the defense of Suna though. Something to think about in the figure he supposed, but they may be quite useful as they tended to have very high powered techniques from what he understood.

This should mark the last round of arrows he needed for Nari, unless the man had used them up in his expedition. He doubted that, but this should round out the man's arsenal, minus the need to update some of the various chemical additions to it. They would need to think carefully about the man's needs, but not until he cam back.
