Poor Unfortunate Souls

Esdeath sat outside the prison making small ice sculptures in the grass. She had been sitting here since the early morning sun rose into the sky. It was one of the few days she did not have Itsuki by her side. On a day like this she would travel and wait outside the prison until a guard decided there was a prisoner unlucky enough for her to have her fun. Today was slow only one guard had even stepped outside today and that was to smoke a cigarette. She sighed wondering what Itsuki was doing as she looked down at the small ice figures before her.

It seemed like hours as she sat listening to the bird singing their songs. She had taken her small figures and morphed them into abominations of limbs and looks of pain. She was getting anxious waiting for the door to open beside her. Each noise catching her attention as she twirled a small ice kunai in her fingers. It was like an animal i a cage waiting to be set free. She almost felt a bit of sorrow for the first prisoner who saw her that day. She was going to take her time and savor the screams.

Kiyoshi would exit the prison laughing with a group of three guards and Zamasu, having spent most of last night going over the blueprint of the building as well as being given a tour of the facility by the group. He didn't really understand the joke the guard had told, but when the other two had started laughing he felt it was a good idea to as well. The last thing he wanted was to insult the man, considering he had been telling jokes for most of the night, likely a coping mechanism for dealing with his job day after day. Kiyoshi had only told a slight lie to get the tour, having told the guards that he had been asked to come here and see if his assistance could be used. In truth no one had asked him to come, he did so as he had planned to meet with the village leadership and wished to be able to offer them something that others couldn't. An advanced prison was one such thing, but he needed to see the state of their current one to ensure that his version would indeed be superior, which he was more than happy to see that it would be. It wasn't the worst prison he had ever seen, but it also wasn't the best, there were many ways that Kiyoshi was already thinking of that could improve the prison for the village. Zamasu would be the only one in the group that wasn't laughing as they exited, his face stoic as he scanned the area outside the prison. Bidding the guards fair well and luck with their continued shift, Kiyoshi would turn to make his way back to his hotel as the guards returned to the prison. His face now relaxing back to normal with the guards gone, Kiyoshi would spot one of the women that had greeted him and his companions at the gate of the village. "Ah, Miss Yuki. A pleasure to see you again, what brings you out on this lovely day?" Kiyoshi would call to her as he approached. Taking note of the woman's different ice sculptures, Kiyoshi could only assume that the woman seemed to be bored.
