- Ryuko's outfit:
Ryuko sighed as she made her way into what passed for the Emporium’s training grounds. For a place that was otherwise rather state of the art it wasn’t all that impressive. Not that she was expecting something up to par with the Royal Kumogakure Training Facility since this wasn’t a ninja village but still it seemed a little underwhelming.
Though perhaps not as underwhelming as Kiyoshi not listening to her strategic advice about how to handle fetching Airi. For a Genius he wasn’t too bright when it came to waging war, insisting on sending a letter the old fashioned way with a courier when she could have just teleported the damn thing to the destination instantly. Was he afraid that the Hokage Airi would not get the letter somehow just because Ryuko couldn’t teleport it directly to her desk? As if they would ignore a flash of lightning at the gates that left a letter behind.
It was frustrating as heck to have what practically amount to an order be ignored. Not when she was used to people obeying her commands, practically without ever questioning them. The end result was now she had some time on her hands as they waited for Airi to arrive.
Technically speaking she supposed they could at least partly implement her plan now since Okane knew the Flying Thunder god technique as well. The only real issue was them lacking a tracker that could search an entire country fast.
Well at least they wouldn’t need to bother taking the airship to investigate the situation in Suna if Okane still wanted to make that trip. Traveling by air was no doubt faster than land but why spend days getting somewhere when Ryuko could teleport a ftg tag to in minutes or less.
Anyhow Okane had asked for Self defense training and Ryuko had nothing better to do while she was waiting so she figured she might as well give him what he wanted. Well more accurately to start giving him what he wanted since Rome wasn’t built in a day.
Naturally she wasn’t wearing her full armor for this excursion, since that was only for serious fights. The only person on the Emporium that she was aware of that warranted going that far during a training match would be Princess Kitsuki, though thinking on it more deeply Kiyoshi could also be surprisingly dangerous under the right set of circumstances.
But unlike the meeting with Okane where she’d landed the job as warren or the auction she wasn’t wearing a dress but a white military uniform. It was still pretty fancy since a woman of her stature wouldn’t wear anything less but it was a lot more practical when it came down to moving around or fighting. Now all she needed to do was wait for Okane and whomever else would be joining them to arrive and things could get started.
