Training Begins… Now?

Ito chuckles to himself as he takes notice of Shigo's reaction to him whispering to his brother. But that is as far as it goes as he returns to listening to her words as she spoke more about what she kind of had planned for them. Then she spoke of their team missions to be put on hold, and that kind of bummed Ito out, and probably the same for Atsu as he tends to be more eager than that of his sibling. Ito would grow a slight pout on his face, but nod as he doesn't really have an issue doing smaller missions because no matter what he and his brother do, they can always find a way to make it fun.

"Are there any questions for me before we wrap this up?"

Ito rubs his chin and seriously thinks about any questions he had for their team leader. Closing his eyes, he thinks over how all of their interactions have gone up until this point. He was curious about her personally, but figures he will be able to find more out later as they interact more. The only thing that he possibly thinks of pertains to jutsus, and specifically what she knows.

"I only really have one. Are there any earth style jutsu that you know that we might not know that you would be fine with teaching us the next time we train or meet up?"

Atsu tightens his jaw when Shigo makes it clear that he shouldn't be speaking under his breath like that, but he does indeed refrain from making any more comments under his breath. He does feel a bit annoyed at being told that he and his twin brother are going to have to do chore-type missions, and a lot of them, every single day. But the promise to bring them with her to Kirigakure if they start right away has him excited, although his glee is still somewhat dampened by the order to perform chores in order to earn the trip.

Atsu thinks for a moment, not sure that he really has any questions for his new sensei; her orders were pretty simple, if annoying, but then his twin speaks up to ask if she has any Earth Release techniques to teach them, and Atsu's eyes light up. It's the perfect time to learn them, although he's not sure if she's going to teach them such high level techniques when all they're going to be doing for a while will just be chores. It's not like high-level Doton techniques are going to help them pick weeds.

Shigo would raise a brow to Ito who would ask about a earth style that she could teach them. “I suppose I have one style but it’s still in the works.” She’d scratch her cheek a bit, looking to the side, thinking if maybe she should teach them the jutsu she had been working on. “Hikaru, return to the room. I’ll be home a bit late.” She’d wave Hikaru off and he’d wave and take his leave, heading back to the place they would call home. Shigo’s attention would go back to the twins in which she would take a few hops back, landing at about 15m back. “Step back about 15 meters. This is a long ranged attack and can be useful with people trying to get up close.” She’d state in a loud, cynical manner. She was very blunt and straight to the point, not really wanting to do anything more than teach them and leave. Shigo had plans to do either way.

“This is called Boulder Throw. It’s simple and quite self explanatory. Watch and do as I show.” She said before cracking her knuckles and performing two handseals at a speed they both would be able to see with no issue. Ox and Bird were the main components, for its strength and the momentum, allowing it to travel through air. Once these hand signs were done, she’d separate her hands and grip the air, her palms turned upward, as if to lift a heavy object from thin air. A large boulder of about 5x5x5 feet would shake the ground as it came up from underneath the surface, surfacing and coming into the air. The split second that it would stay within the air, Shigo would make a quick jab at the boulder, sending it flying towards Ito and Atsu, a straight and cut “Hya!” Was heard from Shigo. The boulder would then be sent flying at B tier speeds, lowering the speed of the boulder, in case they weren’t able to dodge. Her stance would return to a normal stand, her hand on her hip as she glared at the twins who would either break the rock or dodge completely.

Teaching Ito and Atsu Boulder Throw.

Boulder Throw (WC 300/300):

Atsu grins when their sensei talks about having one style that's in the works and that she could still teach them. He pumps his arm excitedly, though when Shigo tells Hikaru to run along home, he pauses for a second before waving goodbye to his momentary playmate. As Shigo orders them to step back 15 meters, Atsu grabs hold of his brother's wrist and rapidly leads him back until they're at about the right distance, just in time for him to turn back and see a boulder rocketing towards both boys. Atsu's eyes widen, but he reacts automatically by thrusting both arms forwards and slamming the boulder with a powerful Blast Release hit to press its momentum back enough that it simply drops to the ground instead of crushing him, though Atsu is left panting a little from the exertion.

"Whoa! Boulder Throw!"

Atsu grins as he peeks out at Shigo from behind the boulder, then begins performing handseals, though he's far slower at using them than Shigo clearly was. Still, with only two handseals required for the technique, while it's not the fastest jutsu he's ever put out, it's still faster than most other techniques he uses that aren't Blast Release.

With an intense amount of focus, Atsu raises both arms, tugging up a hefty boulder of pure stone before thrusting both hands forwards, sending a boulder of his own flying back to Shigo, rather than reusing her own boulder for the technique. He's surprised by both the power and the speed of using such a technique, his eyes bright with obvious excitement and unbridled joy!

"I did it, I did it!!"
