The Cart that needs Protecting

Mission:

Ren would wake up with a smile on his face, considering the past few days had actually given him a reason to smile, and he was in a good mood after the fun he had the night before. He would stay in bed for several minutes simply reminiscing in his mind the night before, as his eyes would drift over to Kanara who laid next to him still bound by the rope, he had used on her the night before. Her wrist tied together forcing them to be like prayer hands, from her hands the rope would then be wrapped around her thighs, before finally finishing the rope off wrapped around her ankles. The rope would have kept her in that position all night as he laid with his arm wrapped around her while they slept. The room was a mess from all of the excitement the night before, and Kanara still looked as beautiful as when he had met her. Granted it had only been a few days since their meeting, but she was the reason the smile was now on Ren's face. As he began to stir, Ren would lightly caress Kanara's side to stir her awake, "Time to wake up, My Sweet. We have another mission today." Ren stated to the half-asleep Kanara, before moving to get dressed and exit the room he didn't bother untying the woman as he knew all too well his rope tying was not going to hold her if she really wanted free. Ren wouldn't worry about cleaning up the bedroom, as he could always do it after the mission, instead he went straight into the kitchen and made breakfast. Making a plate of food for both him and Kanara, Ren would then walk the plates of food into the bedroom with a small tray. Seeing Kanara still in bed would not surprise Ren in the least, if the past few days had shown him anything it was that Kanara loved sleep and considering his bed was just as comfortable as hers, he had a pretty good idea that she did not want to get up. "Come Now, Kanara. Eat. We have a Mission to get too." Ren stated as he stood next to the bed, once Kanara had sat up, Ren would place the tray of her food in front of her before grabbing his plate from the tray and sitting down next to her so that they could enjoy their meal together before they needed to head off for the mission.

Once they had eaten and Kanara was ready, the pair would take their leave from Ren's house headed to the village gates to meet with some man named Mr. Eto. Ren didn't know the full details of the mission beyond the fact that they were helping escort the man and his goods to the edge of fire country. In truth the facts of this mission mattered very little to Ren, as it was his first high ranking mission outside of the village was all he cared about it. This was of course all thanks to Kanara in the first place, it was her position in the village that saw to his recent climb in higher ranked missions for the village after all. Something that Ren would not soon forget and has already begun his repayment to her for her help getting him on the missions so far as well as this one, though in truth he would be happy with simply spending time with her no matter what they were doing at the time. The mission was just his excuse to spend as much time with her as he could for the simple fact, that he found himself addicted to her. He would do anything to spend time with her no matter what it was, even if he was forced to walk the village dogs, he would endure it if it meant spending time with her.

As they reached the gates and met with Mr. Eto, Ren's first impressions of the guy was not great, though he would keep his thoughts to himself this time and allow Kanara to do the talking. Once that was done and the man who was hiring them was ready to go, Ren would offer Kanara a hand up into the wagon. Whether Kanara took Ren's hand and accepted his help into the wagon or not, Ren would climb up after sitting next to her as they began their journey towards the land of wind. Had the man asked Ren, the Uchiha would have told the man he was an idiot for going to the land of wind with all the stories that had been coming from there. However, the man did not and so Ren would keep his opinion to himself considering they were only being paid to escort him to the edge of Konoha's Territory, once he crossed that boundary, the man would no longer be of a concern to Ren, and he could enjoy a peaceful walk back to the village with Kanara. Their journey would be uneventful for most of the trip towards the border, with several hours of listening to the man who was paying them talking about random and incoherent things. Though it was not a complete waste for Ren at least because he got to enjoy Kanara's company, and for him that was the ultimate goal anyways.

They would only have another hour's journey to the border when the ambush happened, the sudden falling of a large log in the middle of the road blocking the wagon's path would be a clear give away and instantly it would be followed by another large log would fall across the road behind them effectively blocking the cart in and preventing its escape. Ren would look to Kanara, giving her a nod before moving to find the culprits at the front while she checked around the back. In total there would be four attackers, two in the front and two in the rear. As Ren would come out from around the horses the two in the front would attack, dropping down from the trees above his head. Having only seconds to react, Ren would quickly dive out of the way of their attacks, as they just barely missed him. Having only his Kunai and not wanting to use his fire for fear of spoking the horses, Ren would draw his small dagger wielding it in a reverse grip and blocking one of the attackers strikes with a sword. Ren was not weak, but he wasn't strong either, in fact without his jutsu he was as useless as the old man driving the wagon. He could tell the attacker had him beat in strength as he slowly began to feel the man's blade grow closer as his his shoulder as his arms started to feel weak. Ren's eyes would flick from the man about to cut into him, to his partner who was moving in for a clean stab at Ren's chest. Without thinking Ren would drop and weave out of the way of the first attacker, while simultaneously sweeping his leg and causing the first attack to stumble straight into the path of the second man which impaled him, but not before the first man was able to make contact with the top of Ren's shoulder slicing into it and causing blood to pool on his shirt as he screamed from the pain. Ren would drop to the ground, clutching his injured arm as he scrambled away from the remaining attacker.

The first man striking his arm, would cause Ren to drop the kunai he had been wielding, and in his scramble to put some distance between himself and the remaining man, he had forgot to pick it back up. As the second attack pulled his blade from his partner his glare would fall upon Ren. Despite the bleeding in his arm Ren would lower his hand that had been holding the wound and began to form a string of hand seals with his still good arm. The other man however would be faster and would be on Ren and bringing his sword down before Ren had gotten halfway through the string of seals that he needed. Ren would close his eyes believing fully that this would be his end, but rather than getting hit he heard a crunch as man cried out in pain. Opening his eyes, Ren would see Kanara standing between him and the other man. He would see blood dripping from one of her arms, he wasn't sure if she got hurt fighting the ones in the back or if she had gotten hurt saving him. He hated having to have her save him, yet at the same time he was so thankful that she was there. Ren would stand ripping the sleeve of his already torn shirt and moved to wrap Kanara's wound only to see it healing before his eyes as was his as she touched it.

Once his shoulder was taken care of, still sore despite the pain. Ren would look at the old man that was still on the wagon, telling the man that as soon as Ren got rid of the log in the way he needed to get the wagon moving in case there were more attackers in the area. Forming the string of hand seals, he had attempted to use against the second attack Ren would release his fire technique rendering the log blocking the way a pile of cinders before him and Kanara would return to the cart, and they would finish their journey. After reaching the boarder to the land of wind Ren and Kanara would part ways with Mr. Eto, heading back to the village though not in a rush as Ren wrapped his unhurt arm around Kanara's waist as they started back to the village.

Painful. Thats what Kanara would have called the constant suspension that Ren had put her into the night before. With her hands tied like that, she didnt have many options other then snuggle against Ren during the night and to hope that the uchiha would have enough mercy to keep her warm and comfortable while she chouldnt do much other then to watch out for her fingers. Luckily, that was true and  in fact she felt so warm adn safe that she continued to sleep even when Ren was already awake. Continuing to do so until Ren woke her up and slipped out of the bed, she would let out a grunt and shift around, entangling herself into the blanket and seemingly wanting to continue her sleep, she would soon enough find to be awoken later again by the smell of fried bacon, fresh toast and eggs in the way that she liked them,with the core still being a thick liquid. Letting out another grunt that slowly turned into a sigh and finally into a rather annoyed tone, she would get up and watch the roped around her hands for a few seconds before opening them with her teeth at a point where the rope was weak.

Getting up now and going over to hug Ren and then sit on his lap for a bit, their bodied and faces directed at each other, she would bring her arms around him and kiss him long and passionately, although tired, before pulling away from the kiss and giving out a huff. "Good morning there... thanks for waking me up Ren...", before letting her hands slowly drag over his chest and then stdning back up to sit down next to him and to have her breakfest with him, using her foot occasionally to tease him during his meal, specifically his male parts as she gave out: "You know that i love you, right?", with a chuckle

After their meal, Kanara would begin to dress herself and make herself fresh. Going into the bathroom and shaking her head slightly with a chuckle in regard to the lack of female articles, she would think for a few moment before deciding that it was probably a good thing. After all, if there were articles for females, it would have meant that either he had planned to make Kanara fall in love with him, or if they were used already, it would have menat that Ren was used to have frequent visit from women. Both prospects which she didnt like too much, but she trusted the Uchiha.

Leaving the house together with Ren, once she was ready, Kanara would hold his hand as they went up to the point where they reached their employer, where she would let go of him and give him an encouraging smile before she talked to Mr. Eto, making sure to have caught all mayor threats, his way and additional details that would help the two of them to keep him and his wagon safe. Once this was decleared, the next time would be rather dull, starting from the point where Ren helped her up the wagon, up to the point where she would be sitting on his lap, every small rock the wagon was driving over causing her to make a slight jump or Ren to press his gains into her behind, while potholes did the opposite effect. Mr. Eto seemingly didnt mind to hear her chuckling during the way.

It wasnt until a falling tree, sent right in front of the wagon, declared an abush. Jumping out of the wagon after nodding to Ren and performing the shadow clone technique, Kanara would engage her enemies in the rear, while she trusted Ren to have his way at the front. Her clones on the other hand would make sure that Mr Eto, who had ran off in the fight, was safe and protected, and were tasked with retrieving him. Naturally it wasnt hard for Kanara to overpower her enemies in a show of her speed, letting her pace around them in relative ease, before taking out one with a swift swipe of her claws, sending the thin and sharp metal through their neck and severing muscles and bones as if they barely even had existed. Her other enemy would try to engage her in some martial arts, but Kanara was already ahead of him, not only knowing the fundamentals of taijutsu, but outright having mastered them. As such it didnt take long for her to end him in an almost similar way, going for his neck and leaving behind a lifeless body.

Pacing around the wagon, she was just in time to see and hear that Ren on his part actually was wounded on his shoulder and that his enemy was already onto him once more intending to finsih what he had started, which left kanara only the option of getting into harms way. Blitzing between him and the sword, standing in a way so her back was towards Ren, she would catch it at her neck and give out a rather weird, painful sound as blood was coming out of her neck. Watching the attacker for a few seconds, as the blood would go through her clothes and run down on her arm, the pain would fade out of her eyes and be replayed by anger in the span of two or so seconds, where she swiped the other ones neck as well, before pulling out the sword and dropping it onto the ground, focusing on healing Ren before herself.

Turning around to face him, he would be able to see how deep the cut had went, only being stopped at her neck since her bones were pretty sturdy while she touched him and his wound would regenerate at a matter of seconds, before she tended to herself.

Once this was done, she would have her clones go at the forrest surrounding her and go after any more potential enemies after they had returned with Mr Eto while Ren made short work out of the log that blocked their way. After that, they would continue their way with Kanara's clones following and surrounding them, to the point where their missions was done and Ren and Kanara went back to the village, holding her bloody hand against his as she cuddled him, seemingly thinking that he was still in pain, despite being healed by her.
