Clan History/Description: The defeat of the Indaina Kujira was a momentous occasion in shinobi history. For the first time since the coming of the Sage, the people of Kishin were united in opposition to an existential threat. An ninja alliance spanning five great powers and dozens of minor nations took down an artificial Bijuu and prevented it from stealing the wondrous anti-gravity technology of the Heavenly Emporium. This victory was not without great cost however. The failed assimilation of the Gravity Matrix and the destruction of the Bijuu's body had led to a phenomenon known as The Defiance Cataclysm.
This event is descriptive of the burst of anti-gravity radiation that was released through the remains of the Heavenly Emporium and beyond. These "Defiance particles" (as some scientists have termed them) mingled with the ink produced by the Hachibi to form microscopic airborne particulates. These particulates traveled through the ruins of the city and across the continent where they have contaminated the DNA of countless individuals. In most people, the effect was non-existent but in a select few, the bombardment resulted in severe genetic changes. Among those deeply affected, the mutations have primarily caused illness and death, but in certain rare instances it has led to the development of a new bloodline.
The Ainshu is the collective name given to those blessed/cursed with Acute Anti-Gravity Radiation Poisoning. Those who develop the bloodline are often called Hankōainshu or possessors of the Hankōgan.
Clan/Bloodline Traits & Characteristics: Because their kekkei genkai is the result of a freak radiological accident, the Hankōainshu have no unifying traits beyond their Doujutsu. Each of them are different individuals who vary in appearance and familial background. While some may note commonalities between afflicted family members, there are no distinguishing physical or cultural characteristics.
Bloodline Description & Abilities:
The mutations brought about by The Defiance Cataclysm manifest themselves as the ability to warp and control gravity within a defined space. Those who are able to tap into and eventually master this latent bloodline limit are gifted a mysterious doujutsu called the Hankōgan.
The Hankōgan takes the appearance of a pitch-black sclera (representing the Hachibi ink that has infiltrated the user's DNA), a royal blue cornea, and a pitch black pupil surrounded by up to four broad lines. The user's inner eye appears to pulsate and vibrate when Gravity techniques are used and as the user's mastery of the bloodline grows they gain an additional line stretching out from the pupil until a cross-shaped figure is achieved.
Hankōgan I (250): This level of the Doujutsu allows the user to learn the Ichi-Crush and Ichi-Enlighten techniques. In doing so, it permits the user to manipulate gravity so as to create a crushing downward force or alternatively a lightening effect on the immediate area of their surroundings. This can be used to weaken opponents or strengthen allies depending on the user's intentions.
Hankōgan II (500 XP): This level of the Doujutsu allows the user to learn the Ni-Crush and Ni-Enlighten techniques. In doing so, the user is now not only capable of exerting greater control of gravitational forces in their immediate surroundings, they are also able to affect particular objects with fine-tuned precision. This ability has tremendous application in the field armed combat both ranged and close quarters.
Hankōgan III (750 XP): This is where the true power of the Doujutsu comes to bear. The Doujutsu grants access to the ability of limited flight via the Quantum Epoch technique. The user may cast gravitational fields at a greater distance via the San-Crush and San-Enlighten techniques. It also allows the Hankōainshu to use the Gravity Sight Technique. They can see chakra in a manner consistent with the Rinnegan's Chakra Sight ability albeit their boost is a unique ++ to Perception. This boost counts as a Doujutsu bloodline boost per the stacking rules. Finally, the Hankōgan at this stage is capable of understanding the complex and near indecipherable laws of gravity just through visual comprehension. They can gauge how objects are affected by it and thus predictively react to it. However, the concept of gravity is a vast and ongoing field of scientific study. Even the brightest of minds struggle to reconcile the known elements with the unsolvable mysteries of relativity. This contradiction between the known and unknown manifests as a limited number of precognitive saves. The user is granted five visual precogs (offensive and defensive) strictly for the purpose of launching/defending against projectiles (this excludes all Ninjutsu and only relates to physical projectiles ie Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, Bukijutsu, and Kyujutsu).
Hankōgan IV (1000 XP): The pinnacle of gravitational manipulation. The Doujutsu now grants perfect flight via the Heavenly Quantum Epoch technique. The number of limited precogs that can be used are increased to 7 and now expand to realm of responding to or making blunt force attacks (this excludes all Ninjutsu and only relates to physical projectiles ie Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, Bukijutsu, and Kyujutsu). . The user's skill with Jūryoton is now so great they can develop fighting styles which make use of the bloodline limit. The boosts granted by the Enlighten class of techniques may be added to any A-Rank or higher Fighting Style such that they are counted as part of that fighting style in the stack as opposed to "Aura" boosts. Finally, this level of the Doujutsu allows access to the Astro-Chemical Collision technique which permits the user to invigorate their chemistry by manipulating and propelling molecules into new and dangerous combinations.
Bloodline Limits & Drawbacks: The Hankōgan is a Doujutsu of limited gravitational power. It does not manipulate the direction of gravity on a macro-scale and thus the user cannot pull nor push objects/people towards them. This profound miracle is reserved for the Deva Path. Gravity Release also may not be applied to living targets to cause them to float or be suspended in the air, etc. Nor can the pressure inflicted by Gravity release be used in of itself to cause damage. It can merely weaken/invigorate (debuff/debuff) persons or objects for tactical gain. Gravity Release is also limited to people and substances/objects rather than energy. It cannot be used to negate, nullify, re-direct or otherwise halt energy based attacks such as Fire Release, Lightning Release, Wind Release, etc. However, a user may wield gravity to better defend against such elements.
This Clan is currently not open for registration aside from those players who claim it as part of the Rise of the Indaina Kujira Event Rewards. At some point in the future, the clan may be opened to the site with a limited number of slots.

Description: After making the necessary handseals and touching an object, a user will be able to make an object no bigger than a car float. The object will not be weightless per se and will maintain the same mass, density and general heaviness as before. The object will either remain floating at a height of up to 10 feet from its original location or it can revolve around the user of up to a speed of B-Tier. This orbiting object will move at whatever speed the user is moving at but the orbit itself is B-Tier. The orbit strength can be set at either E, D or C. It can thus always be broken by a person or user grabbing/pulling/pushing the object at or above C-Tier Strength.
Weaknesses: The user should avoid setting the orbital strength to a level beyond their own Strength. Description: After performing the necessary handseals, the user will be able to create a Field of Defiance that is centered around the user and several others' bodies. This field exists for one purpose and one purpose only: training. The user is able to strengthen their muscles, reflexes and durability by training under increased gravitational pressure. After this technique is cast, the user may train Strength, Coordination, Speed and Durability at a 10% discount.
Weaknesses: This technique has no tactical or battle utility. It may not be applied against other characters without their explicit permission. Other characters besides the user may train under the increased gravitational pressure for storyline purposes but they will not benefit from the actual reduction. This is because while they may grow "stronger" or "faster" under this training, their bodies will never be able to adapt to the forces to the rate that a Hankōainshu can. Thus, their progression speed will always lag behind them. The experience used to pay for the discounted stat increases must come from a training thread where this technique was used. Because the jutsu requires a high level of focus in a controlled setting, it will not apply to general social threads, missions, etc. Nothing but a classic training thread will allow its benefits to be used. When this technique is active, the user's body will be covered in a strange Fuuinjutsu formula. They may even glow (optional) a unique color. The appearance of these strange sealing tattoos across their body is an indicator of this technique's rarity and power.

Description: After performing the relevant seal, the user will float three inches in the air and spread their Gravity Release chakra into a tight compact 5m dome with them in the center. The dome operates like a generic shield providing a spherical S-Rank Defense. The user will then create a small gravitational well directly beneath them. This well is invisible to the naked eye but anyone with Sensory or Chakra Sight (via Doujutsu for example) will be able to see a spherical vortex of Gravity Release chakra right beneath the user's feet. This spherical vortex is a miniaturized singularity which keeps the user and any of their willing allies anchored to that 5m dome. Space-Time teleportation techniques cannot be used in the dome nor can their effects be applied to someone within. For example, a Kamui teleportation attack or an attempt to drag someone through a Yomotsu Hirasaka portal will fail. Additionally, gravitational abilities that would normally pull the user from one location to another are also ineffective. For example, Deva Path will be unable to use Almighty Pull to bring the user towards them nor will an ability such as Chibaku Tensei rip them towards the artificial satellite. While these specific techniques and abilities will be unable to take someone out of the stasis anchor, they might still be pushed or pulled out by more conventional forces. If someone is capable of breaking through the dome with an S-Rank attack they can then manually push/pull the user and their allies out with an X-Tier Force/Strength/Power attack.
Weaknesses: A strong sense of timing is required to pull off this technique. If the teleportation/gravitational pull is successfully executed before this technique takes effect then the user will obviously not be able to use it after the fact. This technique only affects willing participants. One may refuse to have the gravity stasis work on them and/or can simply walk out of the anchor zone. This technique has a cooldown of 2 posts after the technique has been cancelled or the user moves or is pushed out of the anchor zone. If the user falls unconscious then the technique automatically ends. Description: The user makes the necessary handseals and forces their Jūryoton chakra outwards. The user will thus create a 75 meter dome with the user in the center. The gravitational force in this area will slow down select projectiles as it becomes harder for them to penetrate the airspace while in transit. This results in a -1 Tier to the Speed of all hostile projectiles thrown at the user or their allies. Additionally, for an extra 10 CP the user can halt the progression of all projectiles in their vicinity forcing them to be suspended in mid air or increasing their gravity such that they hit the ground like a stone.
Weaknesses: The creation of the dome always manifests a complex web of Fuuinjutsu which leaks from beneath the user's feet upon the casting of this technique. Description: After performing the necessary handseals, the user will focus their Gravity Release chakra on a particular Chemistry substance (any of the 5 Chemistry Implements may be used for this technique). Then, using their Hankōgan IV, they will be able to see the forces of gravity at work within the substance. The user will not only be able to analyze the properties of the substance on a molecular level, they will be able to manipulate these micro-gravitational phenomena so as to trigger collisions between atoms. These collisions can create frightening new molecular bonds that shape and re-shape the substances into new terrifying concoctions. The Astro-Chemical Collision Technique affects each Chemistry Implement differently.
Poisons
By splicing viral RNA together via bio-chemical collisions, the poison in question is able to weaken the target's immune system thereby making it easier for the poison to overcome their natural resistance. This delivers a -1 Tier to Constitution for the purpose of the Poison Resistance Rules. It also does an additional C-Rank damage on top of whatever effects are inflicted by the Poison.
Drugs
The blend of molecules created by gravitational forces allows for the creation of more efficient and syncretic drugs. The drug grants a +1 Tier to Constitution for the purpose of staving off tolerance. It also lowers Countdown and Cooldown timers by a single post and increases duration by 1 post.
Medicines
Vaccinations and antibiotics of unparalleled quality can be made from this technique. The medicines produced by gravitational collision have the power to not only restore but rejuvenate. Any medicine enhanced with this technique shall grant +30 CP chakra. This benefit may only be consumed once per thread however.
Compounds
The collisions created by this technique are able to strengthen compounds to new heights. If used on a compound, this jutsu increases its potency by a single rank. When used in this manner, the compound ought be registered with this potential use in mind.
Provisions
The science of cooking is brought to bear as the user is able to force heat collisions with food or drink particles in new ways. This provides for cooking on a super-scientific level. Adds a single advantage to one of the listed stat buffs and lowers countdown by a single post.
Weaknesses: This tech cannot be used for chemistry creations that are not being created by the person with the dojutsu. You must have the Chemistry Skill and you must be the one creating the Chemistry substance in the first instance.
