LIGHTNING:

Lightning has a haircolour that has many different shades, depending on the light and angle it shines on it. During normal daylight her hair appears slightly pink with red acents. Her tail is shoulder length and ususally covers one of her grey- turkise eyes. She has a very light skin colour and can often be seen wearing light cloths that always cover her chest entirely however. She likes leather and armour. Also all of her outfits include shin and forearm protectors as well as either full or fingerless gloves.

History:


The story of Lighning begins at an early age. Being an heir of the Mikiri clan, she grew up with her parents as the only child. As she got her affinity for the raiton element by the age of 4, her parents vanished. Being the only child of the family, she was now the owner of a nice medium sized house with a large garden within Kumogakure. As her parents vanished, soon she got introduced to some people withing the Mikiri clan. As they explained to her, her early ability to channel raiton chakra was a sign that the dark element was within her. Spending the next few years getting trained and living within a secret training complex where she was the only child there getting trained in the art of the dark release. By the time she was 12, she was able to do basic swordfighting and had unlocked the dark release within her. It was at that time, where she actually started to think about where her parents were. While she never felt alone in the training complex as other childen were there (thuogh they werent as skilled as kanara), it bothered here a lot. Asking the clan straight if they knew what ahppened to them, it got disclosed to her that the mikiri clan and her mother were at conflict, as she abandoned the clan when she married her father, who wasnt of one of the big clans in Kumogakure. Despite the conflict however, the clan swore to have nothing to do with their dissapearance, and even put together a searching crew, that lost track of the 2 at the borders of the country. However it was clear that they were alive and seemingly going out of free will. Having no other relatives then the mikiri clan in Kumogakure, they took her in, as her talent was rare amongst the clan. By the time of 16 she was proficient enough to hold her own in battle easily and her lightning element was fully developed. It was this time where Kanara took her heir, as her parents were officially confimed dead.

Suffering now from the fact that she didnt have any friend in her age, she went around and tried to socialise with people as much as she could, tho staying vigilant, always having an eye out for her parents. On one of the days where she went outside, she saw a homeless 11 year old girl who was living in the streets. Deciding to take her in in a shortcut reaction, they got along instantly. Being the bigger sister for Alice, the girl she rescued of the street" she now had something to care for and had a sibling from one moment in the next. Alice, being a bright mind and despite her harsh life thill eager to learn things, quickly managed to hold her own in Kanras house, giving her the time she needed for shinobi related activities.

Personality:


Lightning is a kind spirit, willing to help those in need. However she also is skeptical about people she doesnt know and ususally it takes some time for them to earn her trust. She honours loyalty beyond anything, and respects strength, however also knowing when its best to retreat. After all there is more honour in surviving the day to fight another fight then to die a useless death. She loves peace and quiet but also the rush of adrenaline on the battlefield. Her favourite hobbies are practising her Kenjutsu and wathicng the mountains from her small meditation room she built herself. Once someone gained her trust she tries to be the "big sister" in case the person isnt too much older then her. While this sometimes makes her be hissy or blunt, she only wants the best for the persons she likes.

Counterstrike: Any nature chakra that Ligthing takes into herself will immediately disperse (negating the attack). This however costs Lighting half of the incoming attacks cp costs (+ the normal inhaling maw costs)

Denied. You may not have a UA related to Nature Chakra without knowledge of Nature Chakra, nor can you negate a weakness of the absorption of Dark Release without having the ability to use Nature Chakra.

A clans gift: Lightning starts with the Inhaling maw technique and is able to use it (a- rank) despite not having the rank or intellicigence for it. However in return every jutsu or technique trained by her will require double the amout of words to traun UNTIL she is able to use the the inhaling maw technique on her own (C class and b tier INT or B class).

This is also going to be a no. Learning things early is very useful, and a little extra word count isn't really a decent enough drawback for such an ability.

Changed it. While i dont see the sense of denying a purely defensive ability just because its ranked a rank, i changed it regardlessly.
