    Mission Name: Fix the Fence
    Mission Type: Chore
    Mission Rank: D
Mission Goal: Fix the fence! Oh, and did I mention the animals got out? You'll need to get them all back in, too!
Description: The storm affected the northern part of the Hozuki Isle, not just Ota. The livestock to the north has been roaming free in one area of the field due to a broken fence from the storm. Trees were knocked down onto some parts and wind blew away some of the more rickety areas. Fix it all up and make sure you get all the animals back in!
    Payment: 10,000 ryo
    Requirements: Genin
Today, the Uzumaki was completing a mostly meaningless chore on the northern part of the Hozuki isle in tandem with his Yuki team mate. Having met at the Heavenly Emporium, the two grew quite close, performing an assortment of missions together over a span of few days. The combination of the Yukis physical prowess in tandem with the Uzumakis above average intelligence made for a near perfect combination.

Todays mission was quite a simple one, some of the fences were destroyed by a recent storm which has in turn forced the livestock out into the wilderness. A secondary group of Shinobi were tasked with herding the livestock back to the enclosure that the duo were in the process of fixing. A few panes had gotten lose, with a single tree knocked onto a large part of the fencing.

It didn’t take long for the Uzumaki with the aid of his Yuki teammate to clear the rubble that had gathered. Once the area was once again clear, the duo tended to the reconstruction of the fences. It took a handful of minutes to place the fences before securing them firmly to the ground ensuring firm placement relative to the adjoining constructs. With the hole now fixed, it was time to tend to the livestock issue. Despite a secondary team being dispatched, the livestock appeared to have made their way back towards the shelter in light of a further storm on the horizon and so with Nobos aim, the duo were able to shepard the livestock back into the safety of their enclosures, bringing an end to a rather uneventful mission.

It felt as if an actual friendship was forming between himself and the gargantuan Uzumaki. Even though the missions in Heavenly Emporium had been quite high stakes for two as inexperienced as the duo, missions in the Kirigakure would only be given on the basis of competence, as the situation was not as dire in the islands. Because of this, after the exciting missions the duo took part in, they were ill accustomed to the menial labor waiting for them planted in the ocean.

The task was simple enough: wait for a secondary group to finish herding the animals onto the enclosure, then fix the fence. This team never actually made it in time, as the animals came back to their safe port, pushed away from the wild by another storm. Having finished clearing the broken timber from the fencing zone, the animals made their way in quite smoothly; aided by his Wind Release: Gale Palm amplification of speed, as a shepherd he guided the livestock through the hole.

Mending the fences was easy enough; knowing of the Uzumaki’s fascination with knowledge, he had talked with a carpenter who took iron nails stock from his parents to take in as much knowledge about carpentry, and while the duo worked, he went to great lengths to explain nearly verbatim the process of wood selection, nail choice, techniques, and as much else as he could remember from what the carpenter said. The mission was uneventful, but the Yuki felt happy in knowing he had made a friend.
