Kitsuki didn't blink as Arisu asserted her right to completion. When Arisu threw the fact that the Ōtsutsuki gave them chakra in her face, she couldn't help but scoff. So there it is.... Arisu saw them as subjects to be ruled. She saw them as ungrateful children that ought to be falling prostrate before her and her ilk for giving them the "gift" of Ninjutsu. There was another Ōtsutsuki in world history that thought much the same and Kit intended on treating Arisu the way the Sage had treated her. She didn't reply to Arisu's defiance. She allowed Arisu to leave but even after the door was shut in her face, she stood there for a moment reflecting on what had just happened.

She had intended for this meeting to be a chance for them to grow closer together. She had wanted to prove Zizz wrong and show that they could work together as allies. It appeared that Zizz and Chel were right, these people could not be reasoned with. She was certain that at some point she'd have to stop Arisu from reaching her goals and the results might be just as nasty as it was with Hana and Kyoji. Kit turned to face Sayuri.

"...Yes...all of that is correct. As far as I'm concerned you are now a Tokubetsu Jounin. Good luck and Goodspeed Sayuri Yuki" Kitsuki turned and left the office. She was too angry to converse with Sayuri in a non-professional context. Zizz flew behind Kit not saying a word. The Angel didn't have to. Just because she had been proven right didn't mean she relished it.

After affirming that her version of the discussion and their roles in it were correct there was a flurry of snide remarks and slamming doors that left her alone in the Mizukage’s office. Sayuri would have been more upset about being left alone and essentially ignored, but today was different. Today she had quite intentionally sought to push them both apart and away. She hadn’t said anything as either princess took their leave. There wasn’t anything she needed to say. The damage was done and her speaking up might have only aided in repairing it. It was better to let their hurt simmer, it would ensure that it clung to them and became an unshakeable part of their beings. In the future if she saw the tension between the two women releasing, she would just poke at the wound again and watch them squirm.

She did not like the idea of sharing power with Arisu and Kitsuki, but if they were at each other’s throats then she doubted they would notice anything she was doing. She walked slowly from the window to the desk and sat down, her fingers trailing along the wall as she went. She felt odd as she sat in the Mizukage’s chair, she hadn’t wanted to ever rule from this office. Her dream had always been, and still was, to rule from her ice castle. To subjugate the people of Kiri to the cruelness of winter from a throne of ice. She would still do that, just not today. Before that happened she had a good many things to take care of.

For now the mundane office and administration building would have to do. It was a boring place, but the memory of this meeting would make it more interesting in her mind for a time. She would have to inform Sero of the new arrangement of power within the village and what that meant for him, and attend to preparations for her meeting with officials from Kumogakure. Trying to obtain peace was not something she imagined she would have been left in charge of, and the irony made her chuckle. Taking out a fresh scroll and gathering a pen from the floor she would write a letter to the Raikage requesting a meeting to discuss a cease fire at the neutral city The Heavenly Emporium. Signing it with her royal title and sealing it she would hand it off to a guard with instructions that it not be tampered with and be delivered directly to Kumogakure. While she did not overtly threaten the man, her tone spoke of the many atrocities that would befall anyone that disobeyed her. The guard complied of course, and she was left with an unsatiated bloodlust that compelled her to leave the office. She had Madrigal waiting for her and she knew that staying longer in the office would lead to messes and work she didn’t want to bother with. Leaving the pens and pencils on the floor where she had initially dropped them she exited the building, satisfied that things were going according to plan and that soon she would be unopposed.
