He was looking for one woman in particular.
Specifically, he was searching for Shimiko Chinoike. As odd as that might be for him she was the shinobi he needed to speak to at that moment. Because frankly, he needed her help. Normally, he would avoid her on account of her Jashinist beliefs. A religion that he quite frankly despised. He didn't listen to their schtick about their god, he didn't associate with them if at all possible. Frankly, he didn't even know what they believed and quite honestly didn't care to. The fact of the matter is that Tamwyn truly and fully believed that it was the Jashinists that had killed his parents when he was young. That it was them that had caused their disappearance. Was Shimiko responsible for that? No, Tamwyn knew that, she would have been far too young. That didn't change how he felt about those who practiced within the religion though. He never really liked being near them, and definitely didn't trust the vast majority of them.
Shimiko was a bit different though, at least in that based on her reputation alone she would do what she thought was best for Kumogakure. She was also, bar none, the strongest shinobi in the village, and that made her the one he wanted to talk to. For he had learned what the strange wolf that came to his thoughts wanted. Knew what he desired of him. What it wanted to do. It was a source of power, a primal one. It embodied the very soul of lightning, which was Tamwyn most powerful, well, only, element. However he had a reputation within the village by now. As being the single greatest lightning user within it. His capability to do them with no seals was well known within the village proper and utilized the advantage to vicious degree in combat. The wolf, Raijū , how he knew the name he did not know, wanted to give him even more power with the element. Wanted to partner with him, to be his companion creature.
All Tamwyn needed to know was that the wolf wanted to give him power. For now he knew Kumogakure was on it's way to war. He also now knew, that the woman he loved was carrying his children. There wasn't a thing he wouldn't do to protect them. Not a thing he wouldn't do to ensure they lived in safety. Even if it meant going to a woman that he did not know, that he instinctively disliked and stayed away from, for help. Raijū would give him full access to it's power, so longer as he bested the embodiment of lightning in a fight. He was allowed to bring help though, and that was why he was looking for Shimiko. If anyone could help him take down the divine beast it would be her.
The only thing would be getting her to agree to do so. Her life would be very much in danger during this fight, as would Tamwyn's own. At the end of the day Raijū wanted a companion who as willing to risk their life for his partnership and he wouldn't hesitate to take that life away if the challenger was found wanting during their fight. However with the war coming, he hoped maybe she would be willing to risk giving him a hand for the sake of the potentially massive increase in power it would give him and by extension the war effort. If that wasn't enough though he was prepared to do whatever it took in order to secure her assistance this night. If she still wouldn't, then he would simply have to fight the great beast alone.
He'd tried the woman's apartment and she hadn't been home. This wasn't particularly surprising as she would have a great many responsibilities to see to as well. He tried the palace, with no luck, and he was on the verge of giving up and trying again sometime tomorrow when he had a feeling about the training fields. So here he was, moving through them and searching for the woman who was Kumogakure's ANBU Commander.
