Appearance: Sakai is a young man with long dark brown hair that hangs down to his shoulders, he has angelic almost feminine like features and more than one had called him beautiful. A lean corded build is usually hidden under a full length kimono with the Senju clan symbol on the back. He has light tan skin, chocolate brown eyes and pianist like fingers. His features has on more than one occasion made his enemies underestimate him, something he uses to his advantage. When outside he wears ninja under armor and a jacket that hangs down to his ankles. Cotton easy to move in pants, and soft black boots.
History: Born into the Senju clan, Sakai is proud to say he can trace his lineage all the way back to the original guardians. From a young age Sakai was said to be the next great Ninja of the Senju clan, before he had even gotten into ninja school he was able to utilize wood release with natural affinity, something even adults in the family had hard time learning. Raised in the traditional fashion of his Clan, he was drilled in the form of the laws and rules of the village that their clan upheld being the law and peacekeepers of the Village. Sakai quickly flourished with his abilities, his knowledge of not only wood but earth and water as well. He seemed to have a knack for Ninjutsu and utilizing them in different and imaginative ways.
In ninja training, Sakai flourished. He proved his adept learning skills as well as his skills in using his Ninjutsu. His natural high stamina was extremely useful in his desire to break out of the pack and stand in the front. At the end of the training he stood out as he expected, graduating easily and earning his head band. Now, he looks forward to seeing what team he is set to join.
Personality: Sakai is a stoic and forward thinking person, he has a insatiable desire to stand among the best and surpass them, to claim prestige and bring the Senju clan back into the light in positions they hadn't seen since they were guardians. He is Often the voice of reason, preferring to have a actual plan and strategy rather than rush in and hope for the best. He respects the shinobi code and adheres to it strictly. He finds people who are hot headed and reckless to be embarrassments and dangerous to the team and the village. When not with the team he can be found meditating or practicing new jutsu, he considers himself a inventor, working to build his own arsenal and spread his own legend.
He enjoys white rice with soy sauce on it as his favorite food, as it is both filling and travels well allowing him to eat it even on the road or out on missions. Though young he tends to be wiser and more thoughtful than other kids his age. He is happy to teach others and help them as they are needed. However he has limited patience and finds working with knuckleheads to be extremely challenging. While normally calm and collected, Sakai has a darker side when angered. This is normally triggered when as cliché as it sounds, one of his friends or someone he cares about is injured. For being only a kid he has the capabilities to kill if he needs to, though this is a last resort.
Sakai has a love for animals and has many of his own pets. What his parents won't allow him to have he builds sanctuaries and habitats for animals. He is very nature entuned much like the rest of his clan and finds time to nurture the trees and animals of the forest. On top of his animals he also has a garden he has kept up since he was five. His parents gave it to him to teach not only responsibility and life but to instill into him the love of nature and their roles in the world to protect it. These things mold him into a better being, a more well rounded Ninja.
Roleplay Sample: Sakai sat by the river near his village, his legs crossed and his eyes closed as his mind reached out to the natural world around him. In front of him, a single shoot bathed in sunlight grew slowly as he poured his chakra into it. A serene smile rested on his features as he connected with the natural world around him, this place was where he felt most at home, here is where the world made sense to him. The sound of nature around him is what made him feel secure in this world, grounded to the trees and chakra of the planet. The sound of nature however was soon interrupted by the sound that the Senju hated the most, the sound of axe biting into bark.
Senju rose in one fluid motion and walked towards the sound where he found two men holding axes and a third whacking a tree. They were not of the village and rarely would villagers cut down a fully healthy tree, knowing the Senju guarded over all of them in the Forest. The youth cleared his throat and the men turned to look at him, of course they were ruffians. Bandits or thugs most likely cast out of their towns. "You should not do that here, these trees are under the protection of my Clan. Leave, NOW!" For a moment the youths eyes turned dark but in a blink they were back to normal. As expected, the men didn't like to be mouthed off to by a kid. The biggest one approached with a swagger, expecting the boy to run away. What he didn't expect was the boy to make a hand sign and the ground next to him to rise up in a simple pillar, smashing the man in his oversized gut and sending him flying back.
Sakai wiped the dirt from his clothes. "That was a warning, next time I will hurt you. Leave, now!" The other two didn't seem to enjoy watching their big friend get walloped, with no cohesion they rushed at the youth. A simple snake sign was formed. "Wood Release: Wood Spike Ring!" The lead man tripped and screamed as wood grew up around him, spikes sliding out of the iron like wood and barely touching the man. As the third man saw his friend literally get eaten by wood, he panicked and threw his axe down and ran. Of course, these men had no honor.
Sakai walked over to the man encased in wood and tapped it. "I will free you, but if you ever come near my forest again these spikes will go right through you!" He turned and walked off, once he was out of sight he released his Jutsu and took to the trees. Watching from the shadows to see what happened. Glad to say, the man pulled his knocked out friend away from the location, leaving all three axes laying in the dirt. Once he was sure they were gone, he returned to the tree, placing his hands on the bark he poured his chakra into it, sealing it back to normal. "There we go old friend, good as new." Once done, he decided now was a good time to eat." Not a bad day so far.
