    Clan History/Description:
Like the modern day “Inazuma” clan of Kumogakure, the present day “Tenkishin” clan can also trace its ancestry back to the times of the Sage (i.e. 1000 years before present day). More specifically, both of these clans had originated from a rather obscure and nomadic tribe that existed during these times with a physician-scientist couple at its helm. Of this couple, the man was known as “Stein” and the woman as “Otohime”. Their lot in life and that of their people, aka this nomadic tribe, had not been an easy one since it had been filled with misfortune at every turn. So, in an attempt to remedy this ongoing situation, “Stein” and “Otohime” had sent their first-born, a son named “Marobi”, to visit the Sage. After arrival, “Marobi” had made his people’s wish known to the Sage, and that was for the power to confront and overcome the series of misfortunes that had been plaguing them. Naturally, the Sage had been amused by their request for power, but nevertheless, had granted their wish in the form of knowledge concerning an ancient “Ninshū” ritual. “Marobi” had then returned to his people with this knowledge and performed it on the entire tribe, including himself and his parents, “Stein” and “Otohime” too.

This ritual granted each member of the tribe the power to wield the elemental forces of Water and Lightning in their basic form and also to manifest a fused form of these two elements. Over the next several years, the entire tribe had experimented with their newfound powers. Eventually, they had found that this new fused element allowed them to not only manifest the elemental chakra in the form of destructive ranged beam attacks but also as more localized masses of thunderclouds. Their mastery of these elemental arts had, in turn, given them the power to surmount the challenges that they had been facing due to their misfortunes. Thus, for a long time, the entire tribe had managed to live their nomadic lives in relative peace. Several more years had passed after this and in due course, the Sage had passed away and his Disciples had begun to carry on his work to spread the teachings of “Ninshū” throughout the world. By this time, “Marobi”, the firstborn of “Stein” and “Otohime”, had become a young man and had then left the tribe along with about half of the tribe in tow in order to track down one particular Disciple, a man known far and wide as the “Lightning Disciple Raiun”.  The objective, of course, was to show their gratitude by serving under and learning from “Raiun” for the rest of his life.

In this manner, time had marched on once more and eventually, “Raiun” had passed away as well. After the passing of his mentor, “Marobi” had then gone on to raise a family of his own and over time, via intermingling with the half of his tribe that had come with him, this family eventually grew to become the earliest version of the modern day “Inazuma” clan. Eventually, this “Inazuma” clan would join forces with a handful of other clans in the “Land of Lightning” to found the beginnings of the modern day Kumogakure. Here, the histories of the two halves of the tribe diverge significantly as the remaining half which still remained under the leadership of “Stein” and “Otohime” had followed a far different path than the half that had left to travel with “Marobi”.  However, to discuss this adequately, the clock must be rewound to the times when “Raiun”, the Sage’s “Lightning Disciple” had still been very much alive. The story goes that, once again, misfortune had befallen the tribe after the departure of “Marobi”.

Once again, as before, “Stein” and “Otohime” had sent their child to seek a solution in the form of even greater power. The difference was that, this time, the child was their second born, a girl named “Sakuya” and the one she had visited was not the Sage, but rather “Raiun”, the Sage’s “Lightning Disciple”.  Like his predecessor before him, “Raiun” had also been thoroughly amused by the request, but regardless, had taken pity on the girl and her people which had moved him to grant her request. Also like his predecessor, he had granted this gift in the form of knowledge about another ancient “Ninshū” ritual. “Sakuya” had then brought it back to her people just as her elder brother, “Marobi”, had done before her in the past. Then, like him, she had performed it on the entire tribe including herself and her parents, “Stein” and “Otohime” in order to grant them all the powers inherent to the ritual. This ritual had been an updated and modified version of the one that had originally been granted to the tribe by the Sage so long ago and the difference was that this one added a third element, namely Wind, to the Water and Lightning that they already had by then.

Since they had been armed with this new power over the Wind element along with the Water and Lightning as well the fusion of the two, aka the Storm element, the tribe was able to overcome their adversity and in so doing, had once again achieved peace for some time. In this manner, time had marched on once more for this remaining half of the tribe and their leaders as well and eventually “Stein” and “Otohime” had grown old and finally met their demise after having lived full lives. In the era that came afterward, the world had slowly but surely started to make the inevitable paradigm shift from the peaceful teachings of “Ninshū” towards a time of bloody warfare and terrible, incessant conflict between the now empowered lands throughout the world due to the development of new and powerful ninja arts of all kinds. Needless to say, since the tribe had wanted no part of it, “Sakuya” who had become a young woman by then and inherited the position of next tribal chieftain ensured to institute a policy of strict, but peaceful isolationism for the tribe to follow going forward. Thanks to this, the tribe was able to remain at peace while going about their nomadic lifestyle in the Land of Lightning which had been their home since time immemorial.

Alas, eventually, they were forced to abandon their pacifism and their isolationism since, even though they had made sure to keep out of the bloodthirsty affairs of the rest of the world, the world and especially the warlords in the Land of Lightning did not show them the same courtesy. In fact, the tribespeople had been regularly forced to serve under the warlords in battle and thus these tribe members ended up being killed in action every time, causing great anguish to those who were left behind by their dearly departed. Throughout her life, “Sakuya” had tried to do her best to minimize this, but eventually she too actually suffered the same fate of death in battle. This sordid situation had then continued for several more decades until the start of the reign of the great-grandparents of the current clan leader, “Faustein Tenkishin”. By this time, the tribe and his great-grandparents had felt that they had suffered long enough and thus, had set themselves the task of searching for a permanent solution to this problem. Their search after many fruitless attempts and a great deal of anguish, had led them finally to the ancient abode of the Sage. There, they had found a certain mysterious radiant mineral deposit and after mining it, brought it back to their people.

After bringing back enough of the mineral deposit to give to each member of the tribe, “Faustein’s” great-grandparents along with the rest of the tribe had ground the mineral down into a fine powder and concocted an alchemical potion out of it through their knowledge of Medical Ninjutsu and Chemistry. Then, all of them had imbibed this potion and had gone to rest, with the hope that in the morning, something would change for the better in them and hopefully give them the power to resist the oppression they had been suffering all this while from the rest of the world and especially the cruel warlords in the Land of Lightning. Fortunately, it seemed that luck was indeed on their side for when they arose the next morning, each member of the tribe had found that a completely new power had taken root inside them, namely in the form of an evolution of their fused element of Storm composed of simply Water and Lightning, to one that allowed them even greater power over clouds and cloud-like phenomena.

In addition to this, they had also gained a special brand of ocular ability which allowed their eyes to physically see even the most minute of weather pattern changes in their immediate environment as well as generate clouds by sight alone and a special enhancement of their bodies as well which afforded them several unique abilities such as an immunity to poisons, the ability to passively heal themselves, resistance to certain elements including their own cloud themed one, and so on. Enthralled by these new powers as they were, every member of the tribe with their leaders, aka “Faustein’s” great-grandparents, at their helm had undertaken a period of research into and experimentation with their new powers. Eventually after several decades of such study, they had managed to refine their powers and even created a slew of secret jutsu that took advantage of and were powered by these new abilities. Interestingly enough, they had found that over the course of their study and experimentation, they had been able to manifest a crystallization of their new powers in the form of an oblong strange-looking stone which was embedded in the centers of their respective chest regions.

It seemed that doing so had actually helped the tribespeople stabilize their new powers and jutsu, leading to more control over them. Once that had been completed, the remaining half of the tribe led by “Faustein’s” great-grandparents had finally managed to use this new power to throw off the yoke of oppression which they had been suffering under for the past several decades and even centuries. To celebrate their new victory, the tribespeople had decided to christen themselves with the name “Tenkishin” meaning “Weather God” and thus turned their group into a formal clan. After that, they had gone on to label their dōjutsu as “Tenkishingan” or “Weather God’s Eye” and their body enhancement as “Weather God’s Body”. Lastly, they had decided to call their fusion of Water, Wind, and Lightning as “Kumoton” or “Cloud Release” as it focused almost exclusively on clouds and cloud related phenomena and took away their power to wield their former element of Storm Release and its beam emissions while retaining its ability to create thunderclouds. However, that was not enough since the threat of another set of oppressive warlords was always possible. Therefore, to put an end once and for all to any future suffering, “Faustein’s” great-grandparents had decided that the best course of action was to align themselves with the newly formed Kumogakure. This was because it was to be the ninja village in the Land of Lightning.

To that end, they had started negotiations with the early leadership of the village and succeeded in securing themselves and their new clan, the “Tenkishin”, a place in Kumogakure society. Since then till present day, the members of the “Tenkishin” clan have been serving Kumogakure faithfully as strategists, medics, weather reporters, and as frontline shinobi as well. Thus, in the present day, the “Tenkishin” clan enjoys almost as much renown as the founding clans of the village such as the Inazuma who are essentially their cousins or even the Chinoike. Only time will tell what fate lies in store for the members of the “Tenkishin” clan and their current leader, “Faustein Tenkishin”, but it will undoubtedly be an intriguing story.

    Clan/Bloodline Traits & Characteristics:
The members of the “Tenkishin” clan run the gamut in terms of appearances and personalities. However, despite this plethora of differences, there are still certain similarities which bind them together as a clan. These are as follows:

    Bloodline Appearance:
Obviously, the fact that they all possess and can use the bloodline is one of the things that binds them together. Furthermore, despite whatever their eyes look like without their dōjutsu is inactive, when it is activated, it takes on the following appearance in every clan member:

    Spoiler:

The clouds in the image above are seen to be in constant motion and the lightning bolts shown bounce around slowly while the clan jutsu is not being used, but with ever greater speeds when they are in use. The thunderclouds shown also display brief, bright flashes of electric blue lightning when the dōjutsu is in use. Overall, the eyes gain an eerie electric blue, sparking glow to them which may unnerve some of the more faint-hearted beholders, especially when viewed in a dark room.

Apart from this, because of the powerful charge of electricity that is coursing through them due to the Lightning/Raiton part of their “Cloud Release/Kumoton”, their hair stands on end and looks ultra-spiky whenever they are using their bloodline as follows:

    Spoiler:

Furthermore, the vicinity around them experiences a sharp and sustained spike in humidity level to a somewhat uncomfortable degree for as long as they are using their unique Cloud Release chakra. Lastly, what seems to be wisps of fog can be seen to swirl around them constantly whilst their bloodline is in use.

Lastly, right from birth and throughout the rest of their lives until death, each of the clan members has a nonliving, gemstone core hidden in the center of the chest regions of the completely organic, living, flesh and blood bodies of the bloodline bearers, specifically next to their hearts and between and behind their lungs. This gemstone is oblong in shape and bluish-green in color with the appearance of somewhat white bluish tentacles inside it. It is equal in size and weight to a standard, large-size chicken egg (i.e. 55 mm in length/height, 43 mm in diameter/width, and 49 g in mass/weight).

    Spoiler:

This stone is intimately and inextricably connected to the bearers’ chakra networks and governs their usage of and access to their bloodline powers. Hence, it is ultimately tied to the its bearer's life force and affecting one would affect the other in some manner.

    Ideology/Personality:
Due to their bloodline trait which allows them power to manifest, shape, move, and generally bend to their will clouds of various kinds at will and since the mineral deposit that had transformed their genomes to grant them this ability in the first place, every member of the “Tenkishin” practices sky veneration. Thus, while they are normally placid and laid-back individuals who like to go with the flow like the clouds that constitute their jutsu and bloodline trait, they tend to become quite irritated if anyone were to insult any element of the sky whether it be clouds or anything else. At best, this would earn the offender a death glare with narrowed, eerily glowing eyes and at worst, it may even provoke the normally peaceful “Tenkishin” clan members to physical violence which can quickly turn  the situation sour unless the offender recants their statement or unless the situation preclude it for some reason. Interestingly enough, however, they have ABSOLUTELY NO qualms about making such wisecracks, puns, and complaints themselves, a fact which outsiders may find hypocritical to whatever degree.

Besides this commonality, the other similarity in psyche that all clan members share is their love for ever greater degrees of knowledge and their intense love for the pursuit of said knowledge. In fact, this is so great that the children of the clan are made to undergo rigorous instruction in many other skills besides just the standard ninja arts and thus, usually possess at least ONE non-combat skill among the ones in their repertoire as they progress through their careers. They also ensure that their children have thorough knowledge of meteorology and other related subjects as well as fairly advanced scientific and mathematical knowledge. Of course, since the clan is part of the upper socioeconomic strata in Kumogakure, the children of the clan are also taught from childhood about the various aspects of high society life. Lastly, the children are usually held back after graduation if that is what it takes for the child to master all of these areas of expertise before they are even allowed to go receive their Kumo headband and starter packages.

    Modus Operandi:
Generally speaking, as a direct result of their placid and laid-back nature, the members of the “Tenkishin” clan hate to be in the spotlight and usually prefer to avoid it unless absolutely necessary. Therefore, ever since they had first joined Kumogakure, their preference for their shinobi work has mainly tended toward being weather readers and reporters working for the Raikage's Office, espionage, assassination, and other such jobs where stealth is of paramount importance. They always ensure that they leave as little trace of their existence or passage through any environment as far as is humanly possible and are fairly reticent about themselves unless they have absolutely no choice.

TENKISHIN CLAN (KUMORITAMASHI) [READY FOR REVIEW] Empty Re: TENKISHIN CLAN (KUMORITAMASHI) [READY FOR REVIEW]

Post by Kuro Fri Jul 17, 2020 1:56 pm

    Bloodline Description & Abilities:
The bloodline of the “Tenkishin clan is known as “Cloudian Soul” or “Kumoritamashī”. The power of this bloodline is contained and concentrated in the form of a nonliving, inorganic, gemstone core hidden in the center of the chest regions of the completely organic, living, flesh and blood bodies of the bloodline bearers, specifically next to their hearts and between their lungs. This gemstone is oblong in shape and bluish-green in color with the appearance of somewhat white bluish tentacles on the inside of it.

The bloodline itself consists of two components, the first being a dōjutsu known as the “Tenkishingan” or “Weather God’s Eye” and the second being a special advanced element type known as a kekkei tōta. This particular one is known as “Kumoton” or “Cloud Release”. The abilities of these two are as follows:

Weather God’s Eye (Tenkishingan) --> [UNLOCK EXP TOTAL: 1500]
This dōjutsu intimately connected to the weather and has the following EXP investment pattern and appearance:

    Spoiler:

It gives its bearers the following two abilities, each of which are toggleable and can be activated by expending 0.2 chakra/stamina per post AND using the hand seal sequence “Snake” --> “Dog” --> “Bird”:

    1) Weather Reading (Tenkeyohō) --> [UNLOCK EXP: 750]:
This ability was born out of a subcellular change in the cone cells of the bloodline bearers’ retinae which made them sensitive to not only the normal human visual wavelength EM spectrum, but also to even the most minute changes in the ambient Water, Wind, and Lightning elemental chakras inherent in the water vapor, air currents, and free electron density, respectively. The bearers of this dōjutsu are able to see these elemental chakras as varying saturation levels of blue, green, and yellow hues overlaid onto the other colors they can perceive in their environment. Consequently, they are able to use this ability to read, analyze, and anticipate local weather shifts from the largest to the most infinitesimal several moments (i.e. 1 post) before they take IC effect. Due to this, their eyes also get a permanent, cumulative boost to general perception at each Perception rank. Effect Summary: “+” to bearer’s base Perception at D-rank Perception, “++” to bearer’s base Perception at C-rank Perception, and “+++ or +1 full tier increase” to bearer’s base Perception at B-rank Perception. This is the max level of this boost to the bearer’s Perception.

Distance Limits (dependent on base Perception Rank):

    • D-rank: 4
    • C-rank: 8
    • B-rank: 10
    • A-rank: 12
    • S-rank: 14

Note: This ability REQUIRES B-rank or above base/natural Intellect stat for the purposes of its weather forecast portion, but is NOT a requirement for the Perception boost.

    2) Cloud Formation (Kumokeisei) --> [UNLOCK EXP: ADDITIONAL 750]:
This ability is born out of the alteration of the chakra networks in the eyes of this dōjutsu’s bearer. This alteration allows the bearers of the “Tenkishin” clan’s bloodline to funnel their “Cloud Release/Kumoton” advanced element chakra through the chakra points on the chakra networks in their eyes to a chosen point within a certain distance away from them and then manifest it in the form of clouds of various sizes which they can then use as initiation points for the various cloud themed techniques among their clan exclusive jutsu. Effect Summary: Sight based cloud creation at a distance within user’s vicinity.

Distance Limits (dependent on base Perception Rank):

    • D-rank: 4
    • C-rank: 8
    • B-rank: 10
    • A-rank: 12
    • S-rank: 14

Note 1: The clouds created through the use of the “Cloud Formation/KumokeiseiCANNOT be spawned directly over the target (whether living or inanimate). They will ALWAYS manifest 1 m away the target at whatever rank dependent distance is relevant to the bearer of this ability. They can then be guided towards the target at rank equivalent jutsu speeds via the use of the dōjutsu.

Note 2: At any time, even without the use of their dōjutsu, the bearers of this bloodline can manifest the clouds they need by the projection of their “Kumoton/Cloud Release” chakra from anywhere else on their bodies, but this non-dōjutsu method requires the use of the associated “Cloud Genesis/Kumosōsei-ki” clan jutsu. Unlike its visual counterpart, the “Cloud Formation/Kumokeisei”, this jutsu follows standard rank relevant jutsu rules for its parameters.

    ------------

Weather God’s Body (Tenkishin-tai) --> [UNLOCK EXP TOTAL: ADDITIONAL 2100]
This part of the Tenkishin bloodline is a kekkei tōta or a triple element fusion consisting of Water/Suiton + Wind/Fūton + Lightning/Raiton elements and the resultant advanced element is known as “Cloud Release/Kumoton”. The water created from the Water/Suiton chakra component saturates the air masses created from the Wind/Fūton chakra component and then the vibrational energy imparted by the Lightning/Raiton chakra component's high intensity electrical charge to this mixture of Water/Suiton and Wind/Fūton superheats it and causes it to turn into condensates of water vapor which ultimately is how the “Cloud Release/Kumoton” creates its signature clouds and cloud jutsu. This part of the Tenkishin bloodline has the following EXP investment pattern and grants its users aka the bearers of this bloodline, the following abilities:

    1) Cloud Release (Kumoton) --> [UNLOCK EXP: 300]:
This is the bloodline bearer’s ability to emit and mold this advanced element chakra via the change in chakra nature and change in chakra form principles in order to manifest and manipulate various kinds of clouds in a slew of ways via the clan-exclusive jutsu in their repertoires. Effect Summary: Usage of and control over Kumoton/Cloud Release advanced element chakra and associated clan jutsu and custom jutsu granted to bloodline bearers.

    2) Illusion Resistance (Genjutsu Teikō) --> [UNLOCK EXP: ADDITIONAL 300]:
The bearers of this bloodline have stronger than average bioelectrical fields emanating from their bodies due to the Lightning/Raiton part of their “Kumoton/Cloud Release” intensifying the electron density around their bodies and energizing them as well. This enhanced, Raiton chakra saturated bioelectricity interferes with the neural activity and the cerebral chakra flow of the opponent(s) and thus lowers their Intelligence to some degree and thus disrupts their ability to cast Genjutsu effectively. Effect Summary: -1 full tier to Intellect stat of any opponent(s) for the purposes of Genjutsu casting on the bloodline bearer(s).

    3) Elemental Defenses (Genso Bōgyo) --> [UNLOCK EXP: ADDITIONAL 300]:
Due to the similarity in polarity of the elemental chakra they wield and the repulsive, weakening effect it has upon foreign elemental chakra of the same kind, the bearers of this bloodline have some small degree of innate resistance to the effects of element associated jutsu as long as it is Water/Suiton OR Lightning/Raiton. Additionally, they also have some small degree of innate resistance to the effects of advanced element associated jutsu which contain EITHER Water/Suiton OR Lightning/Raiton, as long as the advanced element(s) in question do NOT contain Wind/Fūton as it is the basic weakness of the “Kumoton/Cloud Release” advanced element. On the other hand, they actually have full immunity against the effects of their own advanced element, aka “Kumoton/Cloud Release”, so even if their opponent(s) uses their cloud themed jutsu against them, it would simply be absorbed into their bodies without harming them. Effect Summary: -1 full tier drop in Power to Water/Suiton OR Lightning/Raiton element-associated jutsu, whether basic or advanced, vs. bloodline bearers’ Constitution stat IF there is NO Wind/Fūton in the mixture. Total immunity against “Kumoton/Cloud Release” jutsu used against/reflected back at them.

Note: The character bearing the Tenkishin bloodline CAN choose EITHER Water/Suiton OR Lightning/Raiton against which they wish to have resistance. This MUST be declared clearly at creation in the app by the character’s player and CANNOT be changed afterwards in any way.

    4) Physical Intangibility (Butsuri-teki Mukei-sei) --> [UNLOCK EXP: ADDITIONAL 300]:
Another ability that the bearers of this bloodline have due to the nature and behavior of the “Kumoton/Cloud Release” advanced element they wield is one that allows them to sublimate their physical, organic, living, and fully flesh and blood bodies into cloud form (i.e. made of Water, Wind, and Lightning) through the use of the salient “Cloud Body” series of clan exclusive jutsu. This cloud form due to its gaseous nature grants full immunity against physical attacks (i.e. basic melee attacks like punches, kicks, etc., non-Gates enhanced Taijutsu and non-Chakra flow enhanced weapon jutsu types) AND Earth Release Ninjutsu for as long as it is active due to the fact that any and all attacks of the aforementioned type will simply pass right through them while this technique is active. Refer to the “Cloud Body” jutsu series for more details on the exact nature of this ability. Effect Summary: Conditional physical immunity granted to user for duration of “Cloud Body” jutsu tree.

    5) Vitality Enhancement (Katsuryoku Kōjō) --> [UNLOCK EXP: ADDITIONAL 300]:
Since the intense chakra stored in the nonliving gemstone core hidden in the center of the bloodline bearers’ chests in their physical, organic, living, and fully flesh and blood bodies is constantly flowing into their chakra networks right from birth, the bloodline bearers have somewhat larger chakra pools than the average non-clan ninja due to their pool slowly but steadily enlarging throughout their developmental periods to house this extra chakra. Furthermore, since each and every bloodline bearer is taught rigorously in how to harness and control this chakra right from their childhood, they can have access to and full control of this enhanced chakra size throughout their lives. Effect Summary: Passive +1 full tier boost to the bloodline bearer’s base Stamina stat in exchange for an additional 1000 EXP investment.

    6) Passive Regeneration (Judō-teki Saisei) --> [UNLOCK EXP: ADDITIONAL 300]:
Due to the nature of the “Cloud Release/Kumoton” advanced element these bloodline bearers wield and also due to the influence of the nonliving gemstone core’s energy upon the cells, tissues, organs, and organ systems of their physical, organic, living, and fully flesh and blood bodies, the bloodline bearers are able to passively imbibe the ambient moisture, air, and the free electrons therein and use them to regenerate any destroyed or damaged portions of their bodies. Of course, even though this ability is passive, it still consumes a certain amount of chakra and takes a certain amount of posts to fully heal depending on the amount of damage dealt as follows:

    Regeneration vs. Damage Level:

    • Light (Minor scratches, bruises, E and/or D-rank jutsu): 1x D-rank chakra, 1 post

    • Medium (Individual limb destruction, C-rank jutsu): 1x C-rank chakra, 2 posts

    • Heavy (Non-lethal body section destruction, B and/or A-rank jutsu): 1x A-rank chakra, 3 posts

    • Lethal (Any damage level fatal to a non-Tenkishin bloodline bearer, S-rank jutsu): 1x S-rank chakra, 4 posts

    7) Poison Resistance (Doku Teikō) --> [UNLOCK EXP: ADDITIONAL 300]:
The bodies of the Tenkishin bloodline bearers have hyperactive chakra networks. If any poison, noxious substance, and/or poison themed jutsu should enter their bodies, then their hyperactive chakra networks would automatically and immediately attack and through either intense irradiation or amplified sequestration by means of the body's immune defenses, they would render inert these poisons, noxious substances, and/or poison themed jutsu. Consequently, their bodies tend to have an innately higher resistance to poisons, noxious substances, and/or poison themed jutsu which renders them much less effective than they would be on a non-Tenkishin bloodline bearer. Effect Summary: -2 full tiers drop in Power to any poison themed jutsu vs. bloodline bearer’s Constitution stat AS WELL AS +2 post each to Countdown and Cooldown, with -2 posts to Duration of drugs used on them.

The acquisition of this bloodline has the following two stages of progression and MUST be followed in the EXACT sequence described below:

Stage α: Weather God’s Eye (Tenkishingan, Unlock EXP: 1500)
This stage grants the bloodline bearer access to and use of the associated dōjutsu and the following two abilities:

    • Weather Reading (Tenkeyohō)

    • Cloud Formation (Kumokeisei)

Stage β: Weather God’s Body (Tenkishin-tai, Unlock EXP: ADDITIONAL 2100)
This stage grants the bloodline bearer access to and use of the following abilities:

    • Cloud Release/Kumoton” advanced element comprised of Water/Suiton + Wind/Fūton + Lightning/Raiton

    • All the associated abilities described above EXCEPTVitality Enhancement”.

    • Bonus Unlock: “Vitality Enhancement” granted for additional investment of 1000 EXP.

    Bloodline Limits & Drawbacks:
    1) Heavy Investment (Omoi Tōshi):
Due to the significant amount of abilities it contains and the power of those abilities, this bloodline requires a great deal of time and effort to master fully. Effect Summary: This clan and associated bloodline requires 4 SP to be invested at creation: 1 SP for dōjutsu, 3 SP for Water, Wind, and Lightning elements. Cloud Release advanced element is gained free of cost.

    2) Myasthenia (Kinmuryoku-shō):
The intensity of the Lightning/Raiton elemental chakra part of the bloodline bearers’ “Cloud Release/Kumoton” advanced element has a somewhat detrimental effect on their musculature in that it causes a permanent, though limited disruption of their normal physiological functionality due to its influence on the sodium, calcium, and potassium channels and the ionic currents therein which govern the frequency and potency of the contraction-relaxation cycle followed by said musculature. Consequently, the bloodline bearers are always somewhat deficient in physical strength when compared to other ninja in their peerage. Effect Summary: Permanent -1 full tier to bloodline bearer’s base Strength stat to a minimum of E-rank

    3) Living Organic Body (Ikiteiru Yūki-tai):
Despite having a nonliving gemstone core hidden in the center of their chests, the rest of their bodies are living, organic, and fully flesh and blood in composition. Consequently, they are just as vulnerable to death and body destruction as any other human if they are up against an enemy of overwhelming force and/or ability. Effect Summary: Flesh and blood body = mortal vulnerability (i.e. can be killed or harmed just like any other regular human or ninja)

    4) Core Friability (Shin Hasai-sei):
Even though their nonliving gemstone cores are hidden deep inside the chest areas of their living, organic, and fully flesh and blood bodies, these cores are quite fragile as they only have C-grade hardness and thus are vulnerable to destruction. Furthermore, due to this vulnerability and also since these cores are intimately and inextricably connected to the bloodline bearer’s chakra network and all the vital organs, destruction of these cores will instantaneously kill the bloodline bearer if any attack can get a direct hit on it and overwhelm their natural durability (i.e Attack damage or jutsu's Power > Tenkishin bloodline bearer's base Constitution stat) and other defenses. Effect Summary: Direct hit to core w/ Power > bearer's Constitution stat and other defenses = RIP!! They’re dead, Jim!!

    5) Wind Weakness (Kaze Seijakusei):
Due to the fact that it is composed of Water/Suiton + Wind/Fūton + Lightning/Raiton, the “Cloud Release” advanced element wielded by the Tenkishin bloodline bearers has  weaknesses: Wind. This is because Wind is strong against Cloud Release’s Lightning component and also because Wind naturally blows away and disperses any clouds in its path. Consequently, any jutsu powered by Cloud Release and used by the Tenkishin bloodline bearers will ALWAYS lose out to Wind in its basic form AND to any and all advanced elements that happen to contain a Wind component. Effect Summary: Any Wind/Fūton element powered jutsu as well as any advanced elements containing it ALWAYS gain +1 full tier to their Power when clashing with any “Cloud Release” powered clouds and cloud themed jutsu.

    ===================

Elemental Interactions (Note: Cloud is made of Wind, Water, and Lightning):
    Strong Against:

    • Lightning: b/c of Cloud’s Wind component

    • Lava (Rubber): b/c of Cloud’s Wind component

    • Lava (Acid Mud): b/c of Cloud’s Water component

    • Storm (Water and Lightning): b/c of Cloud’s Wind component

    • Explosion (Earth and Lightning): b/c of Cloud’s Wind component

    • Crystal (Earth and Yin): b/c of Cloud’s Lightning component

    -------------------------

    Neutral Against:

    • Yin: b/c of Yin’s neutrality against other elements

    • Yang: b/c of Yang’s neutrality against other elements

    • Fire: b/c of Cloud’s Water component neutralizing its Wind component weakness to Fire

    • Water: b/c of Cloud’s Water, Wind, and Lightning being neutral to it and also because no Earth component

    • Dark (Lightning and Yin): b/c of Dark’s neutrality against other elements

    • Scorch (Fire and Wind): b/c of Cloud’s Water component neutralizing its Wind weakness to Fire

    • Steel (Earth and Yin): b/c of Cloud’s Lightning component neutralizing its Water and Wind weakness to Steel

    • Magnet (Earth and Wind): b/c of Cloud’s Lightning component strength against Magnet neutralizing its Wind weakness to Magnet

    • Wood (Water and Earth): b/c of Cloud’s Lightning component neutralizing its Water weakness to Earth component of Wood

    • Dust (Fire, Earth, and Wind): b/c of Dust’s neutrality against other elements

    • Candy (Fire, Earth, and Water): b/c of Cloud’s Water and Lightning components neutralizing its Wind and Water weaknesses of Candy’s Fire and Earth

    • Poison (Water): b/c of Cloud’s neutrality to Water which is the basis for the Poison element

    ----------------------

    Weak Against:

    • Wind: b/c of Cloud’s Lightning component weakness to Wind

    • Yin-Yang (Yin and Yang): b/c of Yin-Yang’s strength against other elements

    • Blaze (Fire and Yin): b/c of Cloud’s Wind weakness to Fire not being neutralized by its Water component since Blaze is not weak to Water as is Fire

    • Ice (Water and Wind): b/c of Cloud’s Lightning component weakness to the Wind component of Ice

    • Swift (Wind): b/c of Cloud’s Lightning component weakness to Wind basis of Swift

    6) Healing Resistance (Chiyu Teikō):
The innate passive regeneration ability granted to the Tenkishin bloodline bearers by their bloodline is good in that it allows them to recover from damage to their bodies without actively having to exert themselves since it automatically consumes the necessary amount of chakra to carry out the regenerative process. However, the downside is that this ability also alters their chakra networks and their body systems in general so that they have a tendency to reject any external means of healing introduced into them whether chemical based or through the use of Medical jutsu. This, in turn, means that the Tenkishin bloodline bearers are highly resistant to any external means of healing introduced into them whether chemical based or through the use of Medical jutsu. Consequently, any such external healing methods are much less effective on them than they would be on a non-Tenkishin bloodline bearer. Effect Summary: -2 full tiers drop in Power to any healing type Medical jutsu vs. bloodline bearer’s Constitution stat AS WELL AS +2 post each to Countdown and Cooldown, with - 2 posts to Duration of drugs used on them.

    7) Core Detection (Shin Kenshutsu):
Despite it being hidden securely in the chests of the living, organic, and fully flesh and blood bodies of the Tenkishin bloodline bearers, their nonliving gemstone core can still be detected and analyzed by those with the capacity to do so due to the intense chakra it holds concentrated inside it. Those looking to detect the core and/or analyze the rest of the Tenkishin bloodline bearers’ bodies MUST have Sensory specialty with the associated jutsu AND/OR some manner of dōjutsu that grants chakra vision or X-ray vision while ALSO at least B-tier natural/base Intellect stat. If they do NOT have any special visual ability or Sensory specialty, then they will NOT be able to physically see the core and MUST have either A or S rank natural/base stat if they wish to analyze the Tenkishin bloodline bearer at all. Effect Summary: Chakra vision, Sensory specialty, AND/OR X-ray vision combined with AT LEAST B-rank natural/base Intellect stat can see and target the core accurately even though it is hidden deep in the bloodline bearer’s chest.

    Cool Core Fixation (Shin Kotei):
The nonliving gemstone core hidden inside the chests of the living, organic, and fully flesh and blood bodies of the Tenkishin bloodline bearers is intimately and inextricably connected to their chakra networks and all of their vital organs through said chakra networks. Consequently, it is normally ALWAYS fixed in its chest-centric position and thus CANNOT be moved UNLESS the Tenkishin bloodline bearer uses the salient clan exclusive jutsu known as “Core Transfer”. Refer to the “Core Transfer” jutsu in the clan jutsu section for more details on this matter. Effect Summary: Core CANNOT be shifted from its chest-centric position EXCEPT via use of associated “Core Transfer” jutsu.

    9) Photosensitivity (Kankō-sei):
The enhanced sensitivity of the cone cells in the Tenkishin bloodline bearers' eyes are a boon as they grant them heightened visual acuity as described in the "Bloodline Abilities" section, but this is a double-edged sword of sorts. That is because this same heightened visual acuity also afflicts their eyes with photophobia while their "Tenkishingan" dōjutsu is active. This photophobia means that any light based attempts at blinding them are more effective than they would be on non-Tenkishin bloodline bearers. Effect Summary: +2 posts for Duration of any light based blinding effect used against Tenkishin bloodline bearers during dōjutsu activity.

    Clan Techniques

    Name: Core Transfer (Shin Tensō)
    Rank: D
    Power: D
    Activation Cost: 3
Upkeep Cost: 1 (for maintaining the core at its new location until the next shift)
    Range: Self Only
    Speed: D
    Element: N/A
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Tenkishin Clan Exclusive
Requirements: Tenkishin bloodline (Kumoritamashī), Weather God’s Body (
    Parent Technique: N/A
Hand Seals: Snake -> Bird -> Snake
    Description:
This jutsu allows the normally chest-centric and fixed nonliving gemstone core of the Tenkishin bloodline bearer’s bodies to be moved to another area within the body by traveling along the chakra network in energy form. This jutsu is a defense designed to protect the fragile core from detection and subsequent attack and/or destruction at the hands of the opponent(s). This subterfuge allows the Tenkishin bloodline bearers to deceive an opponent who has gotten a fix on their core and thus, create an opening for a counterattack against them. Even when it is moved to a different location in the body, the core does NOT give any outward sign of being at the new location. Furthermore, the Tenkishin bloodline bearer has the same control over their bloodline, its abilities, and the relevant clan exclusive jutsu (Cloud Release/Kumoton or otherwise) no matter where their core is shifted to in their body. Effect Summary: -1 full tier to the Perception stat of a chosen target for the duration of this jutsu (solely for purposes of core detection and analysis of bloodline bearer’s body)

    Weaknesses:

    • This jutsu MUST be recast every time the bloodline bearer wants to shift it to a new location in the body.

    • The core does NOT shift back to its natural chest-centric position automatically. The bloodline bearer MUST recast this jutsu if they wish to move it back to their chest.

    • Even in its altered location, the core still has the same requirements for detection and analysis by any onlooker(s)/opponent(s) as it would in its normal location (Refer to Bloodline Abilities and Weaknesses section for relevant requirements).

    • This core shift effect can be applied to the caster’s core a maximum of ONCE per post.

    ---------------------

Name: Cloud Release: Lesser Cloud Body (Kumoton: Chīsai Kumo-tai)
    Rank: D
    Power: D
    Activation Cost: 3
Upkeep Cost: 1 (This is for maintenance of the intangible vapor form of the body)
    Range: Self Only
    Speed: D
    Element: Cloud Release/Kumoton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Tenkishin Clan Exclusive
Requirements: Tenkishin bloodline (Kumoritamashī), Weather God’s Body (Tenkishin-tai)
    Parent Technique: N/A
Hand Seals: Dog -> Bird -> Snake
    Description:
This jutsu enables the bestowal of the signature intangibility of clouds and the “Cloud Release/Kumoton” advanced element to the normally living, organic, flesh and blood, fully physical bodies of the Tenkishin bloodline bearers. This is done through the Tenkishin bloodline bearer in question funneling and concentrating their “Cloud Release/Kumoton” advanced element chakra in any ONE of their body parts. This, in turn, allows them to temporarily impart the effects of the sublimation phenomenon to their normally solid body parts (i.e. it lets them turn the chosen body part in question from solid into intangible cloud form (made of Water, Wind, and Lightning) while maintaining the façade of its usual humanoid appearance). This intangibility grants the affected body part full immunity against purely physical attacks (i.e. basic non-jutsu melee and ranged attacks [whether weapon based or not], non-Gates enhanced Taijutsu, and non-Chakra flow enhanced weapon jutsu) as well as against Earth Release Ninjutsu for the duration of its effect since these would pass right through the sublimated body part without harming it. Effect Summary: Full immunity against basic non-jutsu melee and ranged attacks (whether weapon based or not), non-Gates enhanced Taijutsu, non-Chakra flow enhanced weapon jutsu AND Earth Release Ninjutsu granted to chosen body part for the jutsu duration (i.e. as long as the caster pays upkeep cost)

Note: All of the Tenkishin bloodline abilities which influence the affected body part while in physical form still have the same effect on it while it is in sublimated, intangible form.

    Weaknesses:

    • Gates-enhanced Taijutsu and Chakra Flow-enhanced weapon jutsu attacks CAN hit the sublimated body part and damage it as though it were still physical IF their Power > the Tenkishin bloodline bearer’s base Constitution stat.

    • Any energy state elemental Ninjutsu as well as all non-Elemental Ninjutsu can still hit the sublimated body part and damage it as though it were still physical IF their Power > the Tenkishin bloodline bearer’s base Constitution stat. The aforementioned energy state elemental Ninjutsu now gain +1 full tier to Power vs the Tenkishin bloodline bearer’s base Constitution stat if they are normally neutral in damage vs “Cloud Release/Kumoton” advanced element.

    • Any Genjutsu, Fūinjutsu, and any other skill types barring those mentioned in the jutsu description can also still hit and influence/damage the sublimated body part as though it were still physical IF their Power > the Tenkishin bloodline bearer’s base Constitution stat or whatever other stat is relevant to them.

    • Wind Release/Fūton empowered jutsu (whether Ninjutsu or otherwise) as well as any advanced elements with Wind Release/Fūton and NO element weak to “Cloud Release/Kumoton” in them can still hit the sublimated body part and damage it as though it were still physical IF their Power > the Tenkishin bloodline bearer’s base Constitution stat.

    • Upon successful impact, these aforementioned jutsu types gain an additional +1 full tier increase to their Power beyond the base increase versus the Tenkishin bloodline bearer’s base Constitution stat (i.e. +2 full tiers total increase to Power of aforementioned jutsu vs the Tenkishin bloodline bearer’s base Constitution stat)

    --------------------

Name: Cloud Release: Lesser Cloud Genesis (Kumoton: Chīsai Kumosōsei-ki)
    Rank: D
    Power: D
    Activation Cost: 3
    Upkeep Cost: 1
    Range: 0-20 m
    Speed: D
    Element: Cloud Release/Kumoton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Tenkishin Clan Exclusive
Requirements: Tenkishin bloodline (Kumoritamashī), Weather God’s Body (Tenkishin-tai)
    Parent Technique: N/A
Hand Seals: Bird -> Dog -> Snake
    Description:
This is the Tenkishin clan exclusive jutsu variant of the Tenkishin bloodline’s sight-based cloud creation ability. Therefore, it works off the same principle and mechanism as does its counterpart other than the fact that it does NOT use the eyes, but rather other parts of the Tenkishin bloodline bearers’ bodies. The aforementioned bloodline bearers perform this jutsu by channeling their “Cloud Release/Kumoton” advanced element chakra into a chosen area of their body, focusing it there, and then emitting this chakra to a chosen point in their surroundings within jutsu range. The “Cloud Release/Kumoton” advanced element chakra collects at that point and manifests the chakra-created clouds there. These can then be manipulated through the use of the other Tenkishin clan exclusive cloud themed jutsu as the Tenkishin bloodline bearer sees fit. Effect Summary: Jutsu based cloud creation at rank relevant parameters.

Weaknesses:  N/A (besides the standard Cloud Release/Kumoton weakness to Wind/Fūton)

    ------------------

Name: Cloud Release: Cloud Sculpting (Kumoton: Kumo Chōkoku)
    Rank: D
    Power: D
    Activation Cost: 3
    Upkeep Cost: 1
    Range: 0-20 m
    Speed: D
    Element: Cloud Release/Kumoton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Tenkishin Clan Exclusive
Requirements: Tenkishin bloodline (Kumoritamashī), Weather God’s Body (Tenkishin-tai)
    Parent Technique: N/A
Hand Seals: Snake -> Bird -> Dog
    Description:
This jutsu is the predecessor to all of the other cloud themed construct creation jutsu among the Tenkishin clan exclusives and thus MUST be learned before the Tenkishin bloodline bearers can gain access to, train, and use those cloud themed construct creation jutsu. This jutsu allows Tenkishin bloodline bearers to shape and condense the clouds they create from their “Cloud Release/Kumoton” chakra in order to create a variety of different constructs, both animate and not as well as . The possible constructs via the derived construct jutsu series include: noncombat tools, weapons (both secondary and main), armor (both partial and full-body), structures (both static and mobile), and elemental clones. Once this jutsu is learned, the Tenkishin bloodline bearers can simply use the construct jutsu directly to shape the generated clouds without needing to use this jutsu first. Effect: Bestowal of cloud construct creation capacity to the Tenkishin bloodline bearers.)
    Weaknesses:

    • All constructs EXCEPT the clones created by the construct jutsu derived from this jutsu possess ONLY D-grade hardness in basic form and thus CAN be destroyed easily by the requisite amount of force described in the Crafting rules and guidelines.

    • All constructs created by the derived jutsu fade away to nothing either whenever destroyed, when the caster cannot maintain them any longer, cancels them prematurely, or else at the end of the associated thread.

    • The standard Cloud Release/Kumoton weakness to Wind/Fūton.
