Originally a group of meteorologists & astrologists lead by Misora Hibari, the Yota Clan were always a wandering clan as they studied the natural world. Even when chakra was introduced to the world, all this did was give the Yota new data points to learn and be one with nature. It was thanks to these generational studies that the Yota learned to manipulate chakra in a different manner. Instead of using the somatic components of handsigns like other shinobi, the Yota learned to use their chakra with the cognitive component of emotions in order to call upon the very nature they studied to protect the clan.

It was thanks to this nonstandard form of chakra usage that the Yota clan stayed under the radar during the Warring Clans Era when they wanted to. During this era they would travel from land to land, selling their skills in both predicting and manipulating the weather. Their most common clients during this time came from the Inazuma clan as they could alter the climate temporally to give the Storm clan the advantage they needed in battle. In the end however, they did not join a major village as they did not want to be bound to a singular location during this time.

Eventually once the Warring Clans Era came to an end, the clan settled down in the Land of Birds. They made a proper home for themselves by helping found the village of Han'ei no mura, as well as keeping the weather there in such a condition that the name 'Village of Prosperity' truly reflected the weather there.

Clan/Bloodline Traits & Characteristics
The traditional clothing of the Yota consists of bandages and tracks as they served a practical use when they were primarily wanderers. Yota clan members are also more commonly found with green eyes and brown hair, but like any nomadic clan that inducts outsiders they do not have a singular unifying physical trait.

Being a Limited Clan, there is a maximum number of player characters who can start with this clan. Only 5 people can be in this clan at one time.

Bloodline Description & Abilities
Having seemingly been blessed by nature itself, the user is always able to tell what the natural weather is going to be in the next hour, and they can always find true north.

Synoptic Studies - 750 XP
The user gains the ability to learn the canon Yota Hiden jutsu without needing the relevant element, however these techniques cost an additional rank of chakra that cannot be reduced if the user does not have the relevant skill and/or element.

Dynamic Studies - ??? XP
The user may now create custom Yota Clan Kuchiyose jutsu to manipulate the weather. The canon Hiden jutsu no longer cost an additional rank of chakra.

Independent Studies - ??? XP
The user may create a single Kuchiyose Hiden jutsu that may have any element, even if the user does not have said element. This jutsu must be based off of a real weather phenomenon, and the element chosen must be relevant.

Bloodline Limits & Drawbacks
Despite the Clan's ability to manipulate the weather being based in Kuchiyose, any techniques that can prevent or limit the use of chakra (such as Five Elements Seal & Lion Closing Roar) will also limit the Yota's Kuchiyose clan techniques.
