Description: A cult has started forming in the villages of the land of fire and is starting to cause concern. Reports of animal sacrifices have been coming in and it's possible human ones will be next. Investigate everything you can about the cult. Including it's leader, their meeting places, and threat level.

Requirements: C-Class or 2 D-Class
Information gathering was an important part of the job. Did people think the mission briefings they got with detailed information came from the foresight of their commanding officer? No, it came from hard working stealth operatives who observed the situation and got the details, who got the specifics of what was occurring and ensured that their village got the information. They were specifically told not to get involved, because if anything happened to them then the village would lose it’s chance at the information. So their abilities to keep undetected were cherished over any fighting capability. Akari found herself on such a mission at that precise moment. She had infiltrated a cult which had started to crop up in the country. A cult of..Cat Worshippers? ‘Oh for fucks sake..’ She thought as what passed as a high officer of the order ritually sacrificed a cat for their ‘god’ Tattsu. The previous Hokage had been a frackin basket case at best. But apparently some people in the country had felt similarly to the kage, wanting to form an empire and more than willing to take the cat as their ‘totem animal’ of sorts for the opportunity.
These idiots were ritualistically sacrificing cats in order to try to offer their ‘god’ a new body to inhabit. She’d been in the cult for a few days and had more or less simply acted like a good little cultist, eager, and excited and gotten information basically just handed to her. Including meeting locations, and the schedule of the leader. It had just been sitting there, on the high clerics desk of all damn things. It’s like these idiots hadn’t ever heard of operational security. With those plans were darker pretexts though, plans for a live human sacrifice were underway. That wouldn’t be allowed to happen. Akari would make sure of it. Once the meeting for the day was done, the dark haired girl left and returned home to report in and get her pay for the mission.
