Mission Rank: B

So far? Caravan escort was boring as hell. It shouldn’t have been a surprise really. You spent all day moving alongside a slow moving, lumbering caravan that was filled to the brim with supplies for others. You had to keep on alert at all times for potential threats to said caravan despite the fact that it was overwhelmingly boring. Akari was sitting atop the lead wagon, sharpening her katana. A few of the civilian caravan guards, so those without shinobi training. Had made a pass at her, they got angry when she told them no. So she put them in a genjutsu to make them fall in love with each other for a time. They’d probably wake up later, next to each other, naked in the woods, and be horrified. The looks on their faces would probably be priceless but unlike them, she’d be quite busy collecting her pay.
As the caravan went on two explosions would occur in front, down the road a bit. The horses would spook and try to turn off the road to run, but the caravan leader kept them under control. So then, it was time for Akari to earn her pay then, very well. She’d step off the top of the lead covered wagon. Moving down the road as two men made themselves visible down the road near the explosions. They waited for her, confident in their chances to handle a lone ‘little girl’. Before they could even speak though, Akari would body flicker forward with her sword drawn and slice their throats. She did it when they opened their mouths to speak, it was like some kind of bad movie villain plan. She just didn’t let them do their ‘mwahahaha’ dialogue before killing them and knocking them from the path.
She went back to the wagon and sat down, a few people looking at her as if she’d ‘broken some sort of rule’ or something. It was annoying, but she didn’t care, she just wanted to get this done so she could get paid and get home. Luckily, that didn’t take too long. The caravan arrived at its destination a couple of hours later and she was paid on the spot then relieved of duty, given that it had been successfully carried out.
