The Shinobi Cloud academy had it’s usual ninjutsu proctor absent for the day. And fortunately for Orihime at the time she was requesting missions from administration the perfect task was set for specifically for her. She wasn’t one to toot her own horn but who wouldn’t be so proud for having administrations assign you a task specifically to you who was apparently the best suit? She had all of her planned tricks laid down and readied in the top of her head. It filled her with excitement having to go back into the academy but… to teach. Uh oh. Chinoike Orihime was an honor student, she exceeded in her studies and was one of the top in her class. There was no shred of doubt that Orihime mastered ninjutsu for a D-rank genin, she could showcase any technique you’d wish to see but to teach… She whole-heartedly knows that she can’t even hold up a small talk with a stranger; this was bad.
For a moment she recollected all sorts of memories from her past to search where her lack of this communication skills stems from. Of course, her grandparents were quite guilty for the most of it. Before letting rage eclipse her mind from the memory of her grandparents, she began to reminisce about all the other people she had awkward encounters with. — And there were quite a few. There was once a boy used to like her back in the academy and Orihime shut him out, unintentionally, but she initially was not aware of his attempt of romanticism at her until now. She was never quite the smooth talker when conversing with boys. She wasn’t much of a talker to the girls in the academy either. Her forehead wrinkled, cringing at the memories. Perhaps the lack of friends also helped with her problems. Her worries increased.
She knew to herself that she had to work on her social skills, all the wasted opportunities, all the questions she could have answered if she raised her hand at the sensei back then. Thinking about it now, if she was given a chance to relieve herself about 2 years ago with the knowledge she has now. She would abuse it but to be frank, right now, she doesn't know how. She had to improve now.
