    Spoiling Son'Rei-Kun Empty Spoiling Son'Rei-Kun

Post by Enkai Fri Feb 07, 2020 9:06 pm

Etsu played with her necklace for a few moments before she stretched her muscles languidly as she looked at the bright bustling streets of Suna.

They're home had suddenly grown by leaps and bounds, from just her and Sensei to gaining several prospective family members and after a round of Enny-Minie-Moe landed on Son'Rei as the first they'd get to know better today. Much to Kimiko's chagrin, who was the only one who felt that everyone should have at least some time before Etsu and Kana dragged them into their shenanigans.

Wandering around they'd eventually see Son'Rei and Etsu decided to have some fun with in, crouching low she prowled towards her unsuspecting victim, and when close pounced him with a glomp before pulling him into a hug, "Heya Son'Rei-Kun! What'cha up to? Any plans for the day?" Etsu's asked, her bubbly voice full of mirth.

Etsu, you know I love you, but couldn't you've given him a day before going all hyper-affectionate? You know how improper that is. Kimiko groaned.

Hey, he's gonna be family soon so I get to have fun doing all the Big Sis things we read in those manga Kana thinks we don't know she likes. Etsu laughed in reply.

Spoiling Son'Rei-Kun Empty Re: Spoiling Son'Rei-Kun

It had been a strange couple of days for Son'Rei, the young genin thought back to the events that occurred during the past few days as he slowly walked the streets of the village. From meeting his guardian angel Ei, who was now officially his guardian in the eyes of the village, to her assistance in him becoming an official Genin of the Hidden Sand Village. So much had happened to the boy, so much had changed. Of course this is what the boy had wanted for as long as he could remember, but it was as if his world was changing so fast he felt as though he was in a dream.

Son'Rei would be so lost in his day dream that he wasn't paying attention to what was going on around him, when Enkai grabbed him it scared him to the point that he almost formed the tiger seal in reaction until he heard the girls voice. "Enkai you shouldn't sneak up on people like that, one day it might get you hurt." Son'Rei would exclaim as he tried to escape the girls grasp, once free he would adjust himself and look at the girl. Yet another change in his life over the past few days, as it would seem that his new guardian had other charges than just him. The boy was not sure what that made the other kids to him, were they his brothers and sisters, were they all one big family. No matter what they were though, they were now a part of his life, including this girl.  "I'm heading to the academy to do some reading, you know Ei-San wants me to continue my studies even though I passed the genin test. What are you doing here anyways?"

Etsu pouted at the small reprimand, a bit of Kimiko popping out to give a I know right!? before Etsu took back the reins, the slight deflating of hair and chagrined expression subverting back to Etsu's looks before she gave him a bigger pout directed at both of them, "Sorry Son'Rei-kun. We just got a little excited at having a new sibling ... we got a little excited." Etsu replied.

After getting told his plans Kimiko perked up immediately, pushing herself into the drivers seat, Son'Rei would see her hair deflate, and the look of unbridled joy and enthusiasm turn into something more reserved and emotionally dimmer, "Studying is always important, it helps you grow and better your art, I personally love the library and can help you if you'd like? I know of all the good reaching niches ... but we were looking for new inspiration in our perspective arts, and well you're new.  So we thought getting to know you better, and spending time with a new member of the family would inspire us."

She'd suddenly fall out of her geek mode once she stopped talking about books and art and would shift her long hair to make a wall between her and Son'Rei, one brilliant blue eye shyly looking at him beyond it's silken curtains.

When the girl apologize Son'Rei almost did a double take, did she say we? Was there others lurking around wait to pounce on him, he would look around to ensure another would-be sibling was not going to jump on him only to be surprised when the girls hair seemed to change as well as her demeanor. This time instead of the poutful girl she seemed to speak with more reserve than before, her words slightly confusing as she bounced between the word I and we causing Son'Rei's brain to hurt. Once the girl had finished speaking and would just stare at him from behind her hair it would click, his sister as it were is a complete nut-case and had a screw loose. Son'Rei would debate on taking the girl to the hospital though he decided that would be rude, instead he would act as though he did not notice how crazy the girl seemed, at least for now. Son'Rei just hoped that Ei would be able to shine a light on this situation later on.

"You are more than welcome to accompany me to the academy if you wish, Enkai. I plan on reading into the different types of Jutsu, strength, weaknesses, and everything in between. I want to learn everything I can while I can, and a good conversation is always nice. After all, as you said we are family and should spend time together and get to know each other."

At hearing the invite Kimiko gave a small, hopeful smile, "It'll be fun reading some refresher texts, while helping you  get the best library experience you can, and since we're both shinobi we can get to the fun reading niches other's cant. Well can't or just choose not to do, of course we can always just go with the whole library table thing ... but ..." Kimiko scuffed her foot nervously, before continuing with a voice barely above a whisper,"I don't usually like being around a lot of strangers. Which you'd probably not guess if you'd have known about us before recently. We're entertainers."

That last word for all the good it did bring to them and their reputation, was muttered like it was the worst swearword that she could say. Much to the chagrin of her hyper-extroverted headmates, "Well, let's be off. Don't forget to cover up, get a canteen for water, and stick to the shade."

And with that they'd be off to the Library.

Son'Rei would smile as Enkai spoke of the reading niche, considering he had never been to a library he was glad to have someone who had been there before. When Enkai spoke in a whisper about being around strangers and then the way she said the word entertainers, it was as if Son'Rei recognized something inside the girl. He had the same look when people asked him about his past, it was something he didn't talk to anyone about, with the exception of Ei. Son'Rei would be snapped out of it when Enkai spoke, he would not ask about his sister's previous life, if she wanted to tell him she would instead he would chastise her remark about covering up and shade. "Oh please do you really need a canteen of water? We're only going down the street, besides it's a nice sunny day why not enjoy the warmth of the sun on your skin. Besides you look like you need some sun anyways." Son'Rei laughed at his last remark, considering his darker skin tone compared to her pale skin tone.

"So tell me more about these reading niches," Son'Rei would state as he moved to follow the girl to the library.

At being asked if they needed water, Etsu took back control her hair going from flat, silky curtains, to a wavy mass, "Are you loco in the cocoa!? Of course we need to carry water Son'Rei-Kun, it's very easy to not know when you're dehydrated, and end up getting heat stroke. Heat stroke is eeevvvviiiiilll!" she stated making sure to stretch out evil, so that the level of it's evilness could be extra emphasised, "That and if you t ... if we're going to be reading a lot, it'll help keep breaks down to a minimum."

Looking Son'Rei over affectionately, and she'd add in, "That and we've got our arms and legs covered, maybe not the coolest material, but it'll keep the sun off."

Having said her piece she got out of the way to allow Kimiko the controls once again, her hair falling around her as it straightened, "Sorry, parts of us can get a little concerned over those we perceive as family. It's why we usually have to shove food under Ei's face when she gets in the zone, and we cook for everyone."

Walking out she'd give a wistful smile, "What were we talking about? Oh! Right! The reading niches. Well there is a large space on a massive ornamental pillar that has a flat space big enough to sit on, hold food you might sneak in with you, and is at a place that no one bothers. Then there's a spot in the second balcony that is near the restrooms, it's a there for people to sit in a more shaded, relaxing atmosphere or simply to have a bit more quiet than usual ... hmmm ... There's a room usually reserved for children that's usually empty on school days around this time, no one really goes in there to bother any body and is a bit more secretive and out of the way."

Spoiling Son'Rei-Kun Empty Re: Spoiling Son'Rei-Kun

    Post by Son'Rei Thu Feb 27, 2020 4:29 am

Son'Rei would notice that his sister's hair seemed to flair, as did her emotion for speaking about sun screen. It was curious to see such a reaction, she held such passion about it, the boy had never seen. When her hair flattened and she resumed her former calm tone as well as a small explanation it started to make more sense to the boy, though he still did not quite understand it fully and he still had questions that he would never ask. The girl was obviously bipolar with emotional outbursts that she couldn't control, though he still didn't understand why she kept referring to herself as we. Son'Rei prayed he did not say something to anger his sister as he preferred her calmness, through this is mostly due to him having no understanding of emotions or how someone could be controlled by them.

As Enkai began to explain the reading niches she knew about, Son'Rei would instantly be against the pillar. The boy was not a fan of heights and while going to the second floor would not be a problem for him, the thought of being up high with no walls around him sent a chill down his spine. "Well, um... Maybe perhaps we can just do one of the rooms this time," the boy said doing his best to not sound scared of the pillar in front of Enkai as he doubted it would be good to be branded as a scaredy cat on his first outing with his sister. "I mean as long as that is ok with you, as long as I get some nice informative books to read I could careless where we go to read it." Son'Rei would try to play it off nonchalantly as he spoke so that it would seem that the pillar did not bother him, though deep down he was on his knees begging that they not go to the pillar.

Son'Rei's eyes would widen as the library came into view, he knew that the library was a building for books and information, but he never imagined it would be so large. "This whole building is just for books?" He would ask as they began the climb up the stairs of the library.
