Nurse for a Day (Solo)

Mission Details:

Leon arrives at the Mizukage Complex after already completing a mission today. It was about noon now, when he was approached by another. An adult male dressed in a more formal wear. A bit gloomy for formal wear in Leon's opinion, and the puffy dark eyes suggest that the man has been grieving. A brow raised on the teen as he was curious.

"You look like hell despite the fancy suit you got there." Leon bluntly stated to the man. The reaction was slow even to Leon's perception. Sadness clear as day as his shoulders slouched. The man stopped a couple of meters before Leon as he responded.

"That obvious eh?"

"Yeah, about as obvious as knowing when it's sunny with the sun in the sky." A metaphor as it was literal. Still Leon didn't really know how to filter his bluntness too much. There was a hint of a smile on the man's face.

"Well I suppose that is to be expected. Say, you're a shinobi ain't ya?" Leon nods his head.

"Genin to be precise, but yeah. What of it?" The man seemed to relax a little bit at least. Leon doesn't know the man's story, and frankly Leon doesn't need to know. He's not being paid to know anything outside of his job.

"Good, I can pay you, but could you watch over the Academy as the Nurse for me? Just for the day of course."

"Is the mission finalized?" Leon followed up with the question. There is a process for these things. People can't just pluck shinobi from the streets and get them to work. Not without finalizing a mission first. The man nods his head in agreement.

"Naturally. I came to see if anyone claimed it since i need somebody today. Sadly, no one took the mission." The teen tilts his head as his eyes shifted to the side for a moment. His rat tail of long red hair shifting with the motion. With a huff, Leon nods his head.

"Fine then. I'll watch over the place for you." The man slightly bowed in respect to Leon's decision. Afterwards, they departed with Leon heading into the building to collect the mission. After making it official, Leon heads over to the Academy which isn't a long walk.

Heading to the Academy wasn't difficult at all. Leon has walked this path countless times before he became Genin. Although at the rate he's going with these missions, hopefully he won't be Genin before too long. If not, then he'll just find some other way to climb up in the ranks.

At any rate, Leon arrives at the Academy and naturally a few instructors recognized him. A lot of them frowned at the sight of Leon, but Leon just grinned.

"Sorry to spoil your peace and quiet. But I got a job here to take care of any snot covered runt." Leon's previous instructor, Orion Almor, stepped forward with his oiled chocolate colored hair slicked back. Adjusting his glasses with a finger, the man's voice became stern.

"In what previous life did we deserve to be punished by your presence. I figured you would be going off with a team and taking on more… suited missions. Not simple things like this. Unless…" Orion paused for a moment as his eyes were analyzing Leon. Just like the previous times, Leon's eyes held a certain wild fury that emits a dangerous aura. Something that makes some of the kids that are peeking around the corner to tremble. "No, you haven't changed at all. What is it that you're really here for?"

"Hard to say. All I want is to succeed and excel. Don't worry, I'm not here to patronize you or anyone else here. The Academy Nurse decided to take a day off, so I'm here in his place for today." Leon explained after shrugging his shoulders. Orion and Leon never got along. However, the man still managed to keep Leon in check. Sometimes it'll involve Leon attacking Orion out of nowhere, but Orion is a Taijutsu and Ijutsu specialist. So naturally Leon lost every 'fight' he had with Orion.

With a huff, Orion nods his head and will lead Leon to the Nurse's Office. Once there, Leon got to work on familiarizing his area from the tools to what medical supplies there was available. Multiple students came in during Leon's time. First one had bad allergies to pollen that was giving him a headache. Leon fixed up some ramen with shrimp in a cup. Then he lightly seasoned it with a tad of chili pepper. Keeping it moderate for the kid, and after he instructed the student to eat ramen. Leon grabbed some paper towels for the kid to blow whatever gunk stuffed in the kid's nose despite the number of complaints that it was too spicy. Of course, Leon explained that there wasn't any real medicine for that kind of allergy. The spiciness is to help clear out the kid's nostrils.

Second claimed to have a fever, but after a quick test Leon concluded that there wasn't anything wrong with the kid. In fact, the kid was faking that he was sick to get out of class. To which Leon swiftly dismissed the kid and sent him back to class.

There were other kids of course, some had genuine problems to which Leon helped solved as best as he could. Those that were faking however was sent back to class. Before Leon knew it, it was time for the Academy to end for the day. With a sigh of relief, Leon left the Academy grounds after locking and cleaning everything up. Where he'll report the mission to be completed, and then Leon will head home for the evening.
