    Mission Details:

Zen let out a sigh as he sat up in his bed, the excitement for the upcoming exams were too much for the young Genin to handle.

"I am never going to get to sleep at this rate,"
he said aloud to himself before looking out the window of the small room he had been given for the duration of the exams. Thinking that a late night walk might help clear his mind so he could sleep as it often had back home, the boy began to slowly rise out of bed and began getting dressed. He would do a quick inventory of his gear before grabbing his bow and heading out the door, Zen would do this check every time he left to go somewhere, however he found himself doing it a lot more often now that he was here in this foreign village as he did not know what exactly to expect.

The mist did not seem as bad as it seemed earlier when he had arrived in the village, in fact Zen could actually see the moon and the beautiful night sky. He had the streets to himself for the most part, with the exception of the occasional Kiri shinobi that he past that were more than likely on patrol. The kiri shinobi didn't hassle him or ask him any questions, which was fine with him as it gave him the quiet he needed to think, though he could feel the eyes on him. The boy wasn't sure how long he had been walking, lost in his own thoughts with what would happen in the exams tomorrow, but he soon found himself in a part of the village he did not recognize. Coming to a stop the young Genin began to look around to see if he could get his bearings, anything that could tell him where he was or how he could get back to his room.

    "Hey kid, come over here."

Zen spun on his heals looking for the source of the voice that called out to him, to see a silhouette of a man in an alleyway motioning him to come closer. The boy was a little uneasy with the situation however he was not scared of the man, after all he was a shinobi of the hidden cloud and it would take more than a man in an alley to scare him. Still Zen was not naïve he knew of shady individuals from personal experience back in Kumogakure, they pretend to be nice to lure you into false security before betraying that trust. Zen would grab a Kunai from his pouch as he slowly walked closer to the man, stopping just short of arms reach from the mystery man in the alley.

"What do you want?" Zen asked in his typical annoyed tone that said he would have preferred to be left alone and not talked to. "I need a favor, a friend of mine is waiting for this." The man stated as he pulled out a small parcel from behind his back, "unfortunately i can't get it to him. If you take it to him for me, I am sure he would be more than willing to compensate you for your time."

Zen would look to the package and then back to the man before looking back to the package, "and why exactly can't you take it to him yourself?" Zen questioned as he was unsure why this man was waiting to pay him for such a strange task that the man should have been able to take care of himself. "Never you mind that," the man scoffed in a tone that told Zen that the man was not interested in being asked questions. "Now are you going to deliver it for me or not?" The man asked in a much more aggressive tone than he had asked before, Zen was at a loss for words, caught off guard by the sudden aggression from the man causing him to simply nod in response. "Good, here's the address." The man stated as he handed the parcel and a piece of paper to the boy, "just make sure it gets there without any problems, understand?"

Zen would simply nod again at the man's instructions before watching the man disappear into the shadows of the village as quickly as he had appeared. Finding himself alone once more Zen would look at the piece of paper the man have him with the parcel, the only thing written on the paper was an address, and unfortunately for Zen it was one that he did not recognize. As he began to look around for any kind of a sign that might point him in the right direction he began to wonder just what was in this package he was meant to deliver and why the man couldn't have delivered it himself. As the questions began to swirl in his head, Zen finally found a street sign, though to the boys dismay the name of the street he was on gave him little help in figuring out where he should be going.

Finally the boy shrugged, "I'll either find the place or I won't." Zen stated to himself as he placed the parcel into his bag, it was then that he noticed that he was near the wall of the village. Zen assumed the man must have either come through a nearby gate and did not wish to travel further into the village or he was a resident of the village and was just too lazy to walk across the metropolis village to get to his friend. Zen pushed the thoughts to the back of his mind as he began down the street in the opposite direction from the direction the man left in assuming it was the best course of action.

By the time finally found the house he had been looking for he felt as if he had walked up and down every single street in the village, Zen pulled the parcel out from his bag as he walked up the steps of the rather large house. Knocking on the door, Zen was almost immediately greeted by what appeared to be Butler. No words were exchanged between the two of them, as soon as the door open the man held out his hand to receive the package before handing Zen a thick envelope and shutting the door. Zen stood on the doorstep for several seconds wondering what exactly just happened before looking into the envelope, seeing the large sum of Ryo in the envelope brought a smile to his face, "maybe there's something to this delivery thing after all." Zen said aloud to himself as he stepped off the porch and out to find his hotel once more.
