Name: Shrine Maiden Jorogumo
Rank: C
Materials:
Weapons: Shrine Maiden spots 9 tentacles that comprise her lower half. They're reinforced and end in razor sharp talons at the end of each one to cut and pierce with like steak knives made of iron. These tentacles can each reach up to 15 feet, and are 3' in diameter. They are cut at sections to allow for superior dexterity and complex movement as opposed to rigid logs of wood. These 'joints' are protected by coatings of metal. The tentacles can also shoot Senbon out of their tips (up to 50). The Shrine Maiden also has a large reserve of sharpened steel wires that it can shoot and fire in a similar manner to Senbon, piercing things as well as snaring them with its damaging grasp, like a spider creating webs (enough wire is packed into Shrine Maiden's interior to reach up to 675 feet). Lastly, the puppet is equipped with a Shinto-style bell, normally used in tandem with Yoru's Bell Genjutsu.
Defenses: The tentacles, beyond being highly agile, are also quite sturdy from a combination of reinforced wood and sections of iron coating vulnerable joints. Just as they can be used for offense, they can be used to block incoming attacks and the like. Additionally, although Yoru sparsely used iron to coat the joints of each tentacle, the puppet's human-shaped upper half is more densely packed and protected with metal coating. It is a deceptively sturdy puppet for one that is so elusive.
Stats: C-Rank Strength and Constitution.
General Description: Shrine Maiden is comprised of two halves, an upper and a lower. The upper half is that of a young maiden: a priestess of some far off temple, wearing a traditional outfit. Her eyes are black, her skin is white as snow, and black artificial hair flows down onto her shoulders. She carries a bell at her hip which she can equip and use as a tool for Yoru's audio Genjutsu. Her hands and arms are human-looking, but have sharp ends to the fingers that can cut through flesh. The lower half of Shrine Maiden, is far less recognizable. Instead of legs emerging from beneath her skirt, a frothing mass of tentacles stretch out, acting as her primary method of mobility as well as means of combat. These tentacles can stretch out up to 15 feet and are packed with all sorts of nasty goodies in them. Capable of shooting Senbon as well as creating terrifying webs of steel razor wires, they make Shrine Maiden's lower body resemble something closer to an Eldritch spider than anything 'natural'
Requirements: Kugutsu/Puppetry Technique
Weaknesses: Despite being her most powerful assets, as well as primary means of movement, Shrine maiden's tentacles are also her downfall. If enough of them are destroyed outright, her means of moving around will inevitably decrease in tandem with the lessened appendages. What's more, although certainly sturdy and reinforced, destroying the maiden's upper body, the cornerstone of the puppet's integrity, will cause the whole thing to fall apart and become unusable until properly repaired.
