Taiga was back to the training field once again to practice more technique. Her list was significantly less shorter than last time, as today she wanted to focus on patching up her weaknesses. Taiga tried to prepare for the worst bringing more weapons than necessary. However despite being well armed she lacked the necessary strength to make use of her throwing weapons, like shuriken and kunai. She never saw herself being a physical ninja so getting stronger that way was out of the question. Instead she used her knowledge of Bukijutsu to her advantage to help devise a new throwing technique to amplify her output when using ranged tools. It made ranged weapons a better option for her now instead of a weak distraction. Taiga traveled to the same familiar training area was before noticing the area had already been cleaned up since she used it a few days ago.
Taiga's first technique she was going to learn was another Earth release technique. It was one she felt was a lot more practical in controlling the environment as it specialized in moving chunks of earth creating raised platforms or large pits. She envisioned it could be a well enough counter to water release or any other harmful liquid she may encounter. Also it could give a vantage point or trap an opponent at will. She understood it had multiple applications. Now she just needed to learn it. It was a short technique to learn as it only required her to place both hands on the ground. By doing so she forced her chakra into the earth as the environment began to shift around her. A section of the ground roughly five meters in length on all sides moved up ten meters high. It was an impressive structure which she imagined could also be used as cover. Like most other technique it was solid, though it lacked any effective shape to be a true defense unlike an earth wall. Nonetheless she had her own purposes for it and spending time learning it so she let it be for now.
Taiga's other technique were both Bukijutsu related. She felt she needed to touch up on her weaponry skill. She was a fair bit impressive but not enough to be apart of the upper class Genin. Since she worked with poison a lot she figured it was best to have speed and accuracy to help deliver it more effectively. The first move was Power Stroke which centered around getting maximum speed out of her attacks. It is designed to be a move for Art of War, a Bukijutsu style Taiga quickly picked up on and decided to take it beyond its roots. She knew it was a good fundamental fighting style but required more work to be great. She first devised a technique that improved her swings to grant greater striking speed. Picking up her wooden staff she'd thrust a tree long and do lateral strikes to get a better idea on how the technique worked. It didn't take long for her to get the hang of it so she moved on to her throwing technique. Reaching into her pouch she grabbed four kunai and threw them one by one at the log after taking a few steps back. They buried themselves deep into the hard wood, deeper than before letting her know that the technique she developed was a successful one. Retrieving her tools she was done for today. Taiga began to make her way back home.
