Awakening of Azure Dragon

It was a dark, cloudy day over the training grounds. Today was one of many days for Inarie as she trained relentlessly until finally. Finally she conquered the power slumbering within her blood, and shortly after Inarie finally gained control over her bones. The excitement in her eyes when she finally discovered not just her Yoru bloodline's power, but her Shikotsumyaku as well. Albeit she cannot bring out so many bones so quickly nor can she just pop out tools without putting in the effort of drawing it out. Not like Daisuke can anyways. Still, this was a major breakthrough for her and it was something she truly needed.

Today she was going to perform the biggest, and probably the most complicated thing she's ever done. Sure her bones appear differently than normal Kaguya bones. Still she envisioned while concentrated on the process of converting the calcium of her bones and replacing it at a rapid rate. Focusing the efforts at her spine as it served as the medium. Then Inarie will condense the surrounding bones along the spine. Some of her blood infuses itself into the forming bone structure as a handle of metallic blue scales protrude from her left shoulder. It was a painful process in truth as Inarie winced from it. However that was only minor, an uncomfortable pain at most, compared to what was coming up next.

Inarie reaches up with her left hand to grab the handle before she begins pulling it. It felt like someone was digging into her spine and ribs as she was pulling it. Causing her to gasp as sharp pains were going like crazy all over her body. Forcing her to stop as she doubled over trying to catch her breath. Her heartbeat was increasing to irregular rates as Inarie exercised breathing techniques to calm herself. Once she has, Inarie straightened herself. This time Inarie reached up with both hands as she drew in a sharp breath. Her fingers curled around the handle protruding from her shoulder. Inarie pulls as she does a complicated process of melting and hardening the bone and blood into this creation. Eventually, as the sword sliced open her back which was a painful process to begin.

Almost immediately, the wound closed up leaving a red line on her skin. The cloth of her shirt was ripped open as the air grew static from the sheer amount of raiton crackling before her. What Inarie drew out was a large, two handed sword as the crackling energy is from the veil of raiton coating the blade. When Inarie let the blade fall into the ground as she cried out from the pain on her back. Despite how light it felt in her hands, the blade made a thud sound as the dirt cracked and the greatsword still crackled with energy. Inarie's grip remained firm on her newly formed sword, and it's appearance was abnormal than what Kaguya Bone usually appear as. Her Azure Blade has a metallic blue scale as the handle which felt soft in her delicate hands. The crossguard is polished black like a talon. Most of the blade is of polished blue scales, and the edge is pale blue as violent sparks of raiton makes the sounds of birds chirping.

"I… I finally did it!" Inarie exclaimed as she once again straightened herself up. Her rose pink eyes stare in awe of her new sword. It wasn't like anything she had seen before, and Inarie felt so comfortable with the sword. Like the greatsword was built and designed specifically for her to wield. The way this chakra flowing through her body seems to energize her to an alarming rate. It felt invigorating just to hold this weapon in her hands.

With a twirl of the sword it whistles in the wind as streaks of pale blue light trails behind the sword's trajectory. Considering the size of this beast, Inarie thought it would be heavy. Yet just from a swing of it proved that she has no problem wielding this blade. Filled with vigor, Inarie sprung into a dance with Grace as she used the sword in spins and twirls around her hands. Streaks of light seem to surround her in a soft glow. Each step was light as she wasn't exactly rehearsing. In fact it was like she was dancing with a twirling staff almost. A bounce here and there as Inarie ends some of the sequences with a devastating slash. Then resuming her dance, and it got to the point where Inarie slashed against one of the wooden dummies. Only for her Dragon Blade to cleave through it with little resistance which came as a surprise to her. Since it was mostly the refined edge of raiton doing most of the cutting, and the blade itself carries the weight necessary to put through and technically serves as a secondary edge.

Watching the severed half of the dummy clatter on the ground. Inarie lifts up her sword and took a moment to ponder. This blade held so much power, and yet Inarie felt worried that if she sparred against someone this blade could potentially kill them. She dreaded over the consequences that might inflict on not just her, but the whole village as well. A sigh escaped from her lips.

"I suppose given the power of this sword of mine. I can't just swing this thing around unfortunate as it might be." Inarie spoke to herself. Purposely putting herself on a limit to use this technique if a worthy opponent arises to the challenge. Until then, Inarie resumed dancing with the same Grace as water, and like water there is an occasional crash of thunder for each time she cuts down a dummy or strikes against a surface.

About ten minutes had passed after Inarie brought out this large bone-scale sword. She started to feel this weapon was really starting to take a toll on her body since it constantly drains her chakra to maintain the Raiton edge. With a deep breath, Inarie plunged the sword into the earth as it emits an audible thunderous boom upon doing so. When the young Kaguya let's go of her newly discovered sword, the Raiton chakra around the edge grew dim until it was just a polished black edge. It was an interesting sight as it seems the Raiton effect really was coming directly from her.

Taking a short break from that, Inarie pondered on what else she could do. So far Inarie has gotten a better grasp over Ninjutsu as a skill. With her new dance involved, Inarie couldn't help except to wonder if she could use Ninjutsu to compliment her fighting style even further. After all she even awakened the dragon's blood within her body. Which happens to have a primal affinity over Raiton. Even as she thought about, live sparks of electricity crackles to life around her scales. However, those sparks was the source of a brand new idea to Inarie. Memories of her using her Aura to purposely ward off counter attacks within close quarters was valuable.

"What if… what if I use a similar concept as my aura, but instead of just my immediate area perhaps I can formulate a method to extend my range." She mumbled to herself. Speculating on what it is she is trying to achieve, and how to achieve it. Inarie pondered on it a bit more as the gears churned in her head. Eventually, after some time had passed. Inarie formed the Dragon seal to stir up the blood of the dragons within her. Bird to give it air to spread out within her body. Tiger to give it shape as the chakra turns into many small petals of ration. Ox to give it mass with density so that it wouldn't dissipate immediately after it was used. And then Bird again for the final time before dozens of pale blue petals slip through Inarie's scales into two masses. Each swirling around her body as Inarie started to feel invigorated once again. Assuming the stance of the Azure Blossom, Inarie quickly dashed forward towards a half dummy. With a swift punch in the mid-section a shower of raiton petals swarm on the dummy. Following up with a low leg sweep as her left leg had a mass of raiton petals following it. So when her leg made solid contact over the dummy's lower section it was assaulted again with the second mass of petals. Before Inarie's eyes, what was left of the dummy now became many pieces of wood chips.

Swarm after swarm of petals that swirl and assaults the target's before her. Flurry of blows after another as Inarie relentlessly kept up the pressure in usually a sets of 2-3 hits. Any more and Inarie could feel the strain from trying too much at once. After some time had passed and Inarie could feel her own body starting to tire from the excessive chakra pouring into this session. Inarie stopped the dance as it was time to draw it to closure. Taking some minutes to herself as Inarie works on recollecting herself by drinking water and eating small strips of jerky.

While Inarie was taking a break, she finds herself staring at the mighty greatsword still stuck into the earth with the hilt facing skyward. It was still there, hardly unchanged since Inarie drew it out of her back. Her mind was blank until she grew curious on how strong this sword was. Using it for target practice, Inarie draws out a normal Kaguya Bone albeit it still has a darker shade than normal. She wills it into the form of a crude Kunai before taking it into her hand. From her sitting position, Inarie threw the bone Kunai at the two handed sword. It clattered against the blade as it bounced off from the sword's surface. Not much to Inarie's surprise, her Dragon Blade only has a glint of where the Kunai struck. The Kunai however, the tip came off from the bone and had visible fractures on it too.

Taking a moment to review this, Inarie proceeds to try to draw out another Kunai. Except this time Inarie mixes her blood into the process of the calcium taking shape. So when Inarie protrudes the handle, it does appear to be a mixture of blue scales and black talon-like coloration. When Inarie brings out the Kunai, it is wreathed in electricity albeit not as condensed as her sword was. Still the edges of the Kunai is dark as the night and shaped like a talon. With a flip of the knife, Inarie throws her newly formed Kunai. This time, when the young Kaguya threw it, the Kunai immediately coats itself in Raiton and seems to fly faster towards the sword than Inarie intended.

The Kunai made a stalemate. As neither the sword nor the Kunai chipped or cracked. The Kunai still had a tip and the scales of the sword remain undamaged. Still, while her sword seems to be very durable, Inarie learned that by fusing the her blood into the Kaguya Bone when it starts to take the shape is a better way of achieving a mixture of her bloodlines. The question that pops into Inarie's mind, is just how much can she infuse her bloodlines? How far can she put this newfound power?

Learned Shikotsumyaku: Draconic Tools Creation - C rank (200/200)

Minutes had passed as Inarie rested her body from the amount of stress she put it under. Considering the toll it has on her, Inarie wagers that she could only bring out one of those Dragon Blades. Powerful as it is, Inarie will have to be careful with using it let alone deciding to draw it out. The amount of chakra it consumes was out of this world, and perhaps Inarie will get used to it. However, she wasn't used to losing so much chakra in such a short amount of time except for momentary bursts of maximum output.

Regardless, Inarie stands back up on her feet and sets down her change of water next her bag that leans against a palm tree. This time Inarie wasn't going to learn a destructive technique as this time it is gonna be none other than the famous Shadow Clone jutsu itself. Just simply so her chakra in half to produce almost a carbon copy of herself. How hard could that be? So Inarie got to work on forming the Seal of Confrontation and trying to evenly split her chakra into a clone. To her surprise, it was actually a difficult task to divide up her chakra like that. The first clone Inarie produce was a pathetic and comical version barely able to stand. Disgusted by that, Inarie immediately dismissed it. Thankfully whatever chakra she opted to split with seems to come back to her body.

Inarie forms the seal once again and sets on the task of dividing her chakra. When she creates the clone however, once again it was a comical version of herself. Inarie dismissed it again and reevaluates on what she is doing wrong. After forming the seal and getting to work with her chakra. When she goes to make a third clone, Inarie realizes what it was albeit a bit too late. While her third clone was a failure again, Inarie realized that when she is executing the technique. Inarie's restraint on a subconscious level is pulling pieces of the divided chakra back and it creates a disturbance of chakra. Hence is why her clones always look so flimsy.

Realizing her errors, Inarie worked with clone after clone on removing her own limitations. It took about a solid hour, but Inarie finally conjured up a fully functional replica of herself. It was a bit weird hearing her clone talk though, but it was also like looking at herself in a mirror of sorts.

Learning Shadow Clone - B Class (200/200)

So the knowledge and training of the Shadow Clone now engraved into her mind. It was time for Inarie to learn something more difficult. Something that infuses the shadow clone with an element. Anyone can guess what that is? Why, the only element Inarie does have; Raiton. Inarie now begins the grueling task of trying to summon a shadow clone that is actually made up of raiton chakra. As it'll be helpful to make it appear like she's conjuring a normal shadow clone until someone pops them for a nasty shock. At least that's what Inarie had in mind.

However, as Inarie quickly discovered the Raiton is much more difficult to control than normal chakra. So as anyone could imagine the process involved lots of weak currents of sparks flickering in the air every time Inarie failed. There were some moments of frustration as there is only 5 attempts so far. All five failed of course, and Inarie is having to reroute some the Raiton chakra to other parts of her body. By reducing the voltage in such a condensed mass, Inarie focused on divert the Raiton to spread out until she pushes it out to form her Lightning Shadow Clone. Upon the sixth try she somewhat succeeded, but the shadow clone held the comical form. After refining her chakra to an acute point, Inarie attempted again for the seventh time. This time, Inarie finally conjured herself a functional Lightning Shadow Clone. Although it is still a bit weird to see herself and hear herself even.

I don't think I'm ever going to get used to that...

By now Inarie felt a little bit confident that she had a very good grasp over her Ninjutsu. Especially Raiton Ninjutsu as she seems to have a knack for it. Inarie isn't sure to call her mixed blood a blessing or if it makes her seem more abnormal by the second. So far, Inarie hasn't found another Kaguya who wields elements. Let alone being able to mix two bloodlines into forming an instrument of destruction. Considering her newly acquired Azure Dragon Blade, perhaps it is more dangerous than Kaguya Bone can achieve.

Young Inarie didn't want to plague her head with arrogance, so she focused her mind on something else. Considering that she's been focusing on mixing the two bloodlines, Inarie figured it was time to at least learn some of her father's bloodline. Inarie closed her eyes as the storm rumbles above her. Seeking for the inner strength of a dragon slumbering within her. Casting aside any sound and lost all sight. Her body sits down on the grass as her mind sunk deeper into a meditative state. All the way until she, in her mind, saw and heard a dark mass crackling with energy. It howled as thunderous cracks erupts all over her. It was such a raw, untamed energy swirling in her body. Filled to the brim with the emotion of freedom and power. Freedom to get out, and the power to unleash devastation to the world outside.

Inarie's eyes snapped open as there was a gasp coming from her. Had she stopped breathing? Or was what she saw in herself scared her? Truthfully Inarie couldn't tell, but her lungs practically rejoiced with fresh air. How long she had been there Inarie wasn't sure, but it was no longer day and it was a downpour. Flashes of lightning erupt the sky as wind continues to howl from all sides. It confused Inarie, because in this particular moment it really did feel like Inarie was still stuck in her mind. Yet the painfully cold rain practically slamming against her face felt surreal. Inarie felt like she was soaked and cold all over. Now she felt weightless too, and yet there was pressure around her. With the flashes of lightning being the only light in this pitch black darkness. Inarie heard the sloshing sound of water as she felt she was being pushed up and down in a repetitive motion.

That's when Inarie realized that she wasn't on an island anymore, she was somewhere in the sea. The instant she realizes this however, a mighty wave slammed against her and the impressive force pushed her below the surface. Sound was muffled and pain wrecks against her body. Being tossed and spun rapidly in this dark body of water greatly disoriented Inarie. She couldn't tell what was up or down anymore. Everything was muffled, even the thunder was like a low rumble that reverberated throughout her body. That is, until a flash of lightning lit up the area momentarily. However, at that moment, she sees a gargantuan dark shadow with a pair of giant yellow eyes staring at her direction. The sudden appearance scared Inarie as she screamed and desperately swim backwards. Yet desperate as she was the mass just got eerily closer to her until she could probably touch what she assumes is a snout. Inarie rapidly began to climb up to the surface as she really needed air. Her lungs felt like they could burst right now.

Upon breaking the surface she is greeted with the roar of the storm. However something was different than before. This time, lightning of long arcs continuously flash in the dark clouds. In fact, looking up at it the dark clouds are bulging downward. Inarie climbed up to her feet on the lapping surface as she felt heavy static in the air. She watched as the clouds parted to reveal another gargantuan mass wreathed in lightning. Thanks to the lighting, Inarie could actually make out the scales of a white belly with four giant limbs each equipped with talons black as the night. Yet Inarie could see a pair of orange-blue lights that Inarie can only assume to be for eyes coming from the thick clouds. Peering down at her. Inarie went to take a step backwards, but instead Inarie felt something solid on her back. Reluctant, Inarie turned her head over her shoulder, only to see something that had her in awe and terrified at the same time.

It was presumably the head of the creature from below that had surfaced with her. Nothing happened except Inarie can see mounds of what she originally thought were islands. Except they had webbed spines and fins. Putting two and two together, Inarie assumed that was part of this creature's body. Out of all of the howling and thunderous noise that it gave her a headache. One thing was clear and loud with a deep, rumbling voice that shakes Inarie to her core.

"Kachinonai…" The word was drawn out that it felt like there was an earthquake. Inarie shivered from being soaked and chilled to the bone as the voice seemed to come from all directions. Suddenly, with no warning, this giant head quickly opened its mouth and swallowed Inarie whole with a thunderous slam of jaw meeting each other.

Inarie gasped as her eyes flashed open to see the dark clouds above her. It was still day, and some light rain is starting to sprinkle on her body. Inarie finds herself laying on her back as she takes several deep breaths. Eventually Inarie rolled over as she felt stiff and a bit cold. Albeit she was definitely warmer than whatever in the hells she just dreamt of. Yet Inarie felt energized, like Raiton is sparking throughout her body. It felt like she was going to explode with how thousands of needles felt like stabbing her multiple times all over her body. A primal rage took over her mind as Inarie gathered all of that Raiton chakra into her mouth as her lips glowed fiercely bright as wild sparks of raiton flicker over her face. Like a roar of a dragon, Inarie opened her mouth with her face looking skyward as an arc of lightning leaps from the depths of her mouth. It danced in the air for twenty meters before both the rage and the Raiton dwindled.

Learning Lesser Breath of the Dragon - C Rank (200/200)

Adrenaline was active in Inarie's body as she took several minutes of silence to comprehend what exactly just happened. If that was a genjutsu, whoever placed it was incredibly skilled. The experience scared her, and yet Inarie can't take her mind's eye off from what she had seen. Until finally she sighs to dismiss the images.

"Kachinonai huh… I'll prove you wrong, whoever you are." Inarie vowed as she strengthened her resolve before standing up to her feet. Reaching for her chokuto, Inarie with her other hand formed a half Seal of Confrontation. Where she splits her chakra not in half, but in third. Two thirds of her chakra is used to conjure up two shadow clones at her side. All three were already in position to draw out their chokuto. The three Inarie dashed towards a damaged dummy. Inarie in the middle leapt forward while the other two curved around to the dummies side. When all three of their iron chokuto bites into the straw dummy's body. They practically cleaved through the dummy. It fell to the ground in pieces as straw scattered everywhere.

Inarie didn't dismiss her clones as she wanted to practice some more. So after scouting out another target, which was another dummy. Inarie now realized her Dragon Blade is still where she left it. The temptation to take sword in her hands was real. That combination of her Kaguya Bone and Dragon Blood was the essence of how much Inarie has grown. Snapping her attention back to the dummy before her, Inarie and clones rushed towards the dummy. With a flash of iron and the singing of metal. Their chokuto cut deep into the wood, and while it didn't sliced the dummy to pieces this time. It was good enough for Inarie.

Learning Dance of the Crescent Moon - A Rank (250/250)

To say that Inarie was really starting to feel exhausted was putting it mildly. She was tired and required a much needed rest. Still, Inarie shook her head as she clenched her fist.

"If I don't push beyond my limits, I won't get any stronger for the village! These threats that crowd around our walls will not wait until I leisurely get ready to face them!" The passionate for burned brighter within her soul as she encouraged herself. Tapping into the hidden Reserves within her body. Sparks of raiton flicker around her body before she started to build up chakra from within. Molding the chakra into raiton as Inarie shapes it with the form of handseals. Four easy handseals, and the energy to mold was wild and untamed even for her. Yet Inarie channeled that chakra into producing fifteen disks of raiton forward at a random palm tree. They were wild and scattered so only a few disks actually hit the tree who the other sails past it.

Frowning at the results, Inarie formed the four handseals again as she charged up her chakra again. This time Inarie does her best to individually control the disks to strike the tree. Yet she found it was incredibly hard to do so. Even Inarie could barely turn the disks into a curve, but by the time that happens the disks would already fly past it. Still frowning at the results, obviously not pleased with the outcome. Inarie formed the seals once again while charging up her chakra. She could feel the heavy strain on her body as she does so, but Inarie fires the technique again. This time she managed to narrow the disks enough on the tree to where majority of them hits. However there are still a small number that still misses.

Learning Lightning Release: Lightning Rat Violent Quake - B rank (200/200)

As much as Inarie wanted to keep going, as much as she wanted improve further. She realized that if she pushed herself any further. It might have some dire consequences. Inarie felt like she might be lucky if she just passed out. She spent a lot of chakra by now, and her shirt was torn open from pulling out that Dragon Blade. With an exaggerated sigh as she doubles over from exhaustion.

"Seems like this is my limit now..." She muttered to herself as her left hand curled into a fist. Frustrated that she couldn't do more, but at the same time she has come far now. Now she can produce bones, and then mixed her bones with her blood to form new combinations that were thought to be impossible. Perhaps it goes to show how much of an abomination she really is. Or it is a demonstration that she isn't some kind of monster. Either way, this will be her Trump card that she'll have to keep under wraps until the Chunin Exams comes around. Shouldn't be a surprise, but to those who knows her would probably be taken aback. Either way, once Inarie regained her breath, the young Kaguya leaves the training field.
