After her wedding, it was back to business as usual. Shimiko attended her regular briefings and reviewed the quarterly intelligence analysis reports. There was a growing discontent among the corps that not enough was being done regarding the Shiroi situation. The Dragon woman had demolished an entire town and Kumogakure was no close to taking her down as they were three years ago. Ken had yet to confirm that he had infiltrated their ranks and it appeared as though none of the other world powers were interested in reaching out on the subject. Shimiko shared this concern and decided that it was time drastic measures were taken.
And thus Operation Black Renegade was born.
Shimiko drew up the operative mission document and sent it to the Raikage's desk. The mission parameters were guarded by ANBU and taken directly to her. Shimiko did not seek prior permission for such a sensitive and dangerous mission. Nariko deserved to know about it but she couldn't have intimate knowledge of how and where it would take place. The Kage needed to maintain plausible deniability at all times. With the mission parameters taken care of, Shimiko headed out to execute the task.
