Anybody wanna talk [Open]

There was tension amongst the guards and some of the civilians in Kirigakure's streets. Not so much as aggression is being shown that Leora is aware of. But more like they're on alert for something. She can already tell that this was going to make conversations a bit difficult. Her vibrant red hair pulled up into a braid has confused a number of people.

”Excuse me, but you wouldn't happen to be related to one of the Uzumaki?” One of the locals asked as Leora blinked once since she doesn't know how to answer that. From her father's side of the family she knew there was no Uzumaki bloodline related to him. But Leora never knew her mother and her father avoids the subject.

”Not that I am aware of. What gives you that impression?” Before Leora could really finish the local person walked away. The genin sighs as she crosses her arms. Trying to figure out how to go about this without drawing such unwanted attention.

Leora searched for a good while in Kirigakure's main plaza where activity seems to be bustling. However there just wasn't much of the sights that was captivating to the red head. At least not for what Leora was after. Still as she listened to the locals gossip with each other apparently some Inazuma attacked the Mizukage. The only Inazuma that Leora can recall is Khai Inazuma, but now that she remembers Leora hasn't seen that jounin in Kumogakure in a while.

Still Leora minded her own business as she no longer pestered the people under the assumption that rumor had any facts. It would explain why some people were glaring hard at Leora. Looking up at the sky Leora can tell it's a little afternoon now. Frankly this was about all she could find so Leora gathered her things before leaving for the gates. While not getting the chance to talk to anyone, Leora still gathered that the local folk in Kirigakure are on edge right now. Perhaps Leora should add this to her report, but for the time being the gates was her destination.
