It seemed that Inarie already had a basket and book awaiting, even with me tossing the extra basket towards her, it seemed that she would ablidge in catching. She wasn't dawned of Natsu showing up, however she felt she shouldn't be held back on the mission for a comrade whom did not approiate to arrive up to fulfil her duty. Chi help no mind for delinquential behavior of her comrades, albiet missing thier first mission, as just aquaintancy, or teammates, was forbidden. She'd forget the name, especially if she saw no face, therefore she wouldn't matter in this case of fulfilment.
Chï graced forward, greeting her comrade with a humble bow and spoke softly,
'Since the third is extraordinary, we can fill that basket with any particular exotic herbs we can find. The book has all sorts of herbs within it, in which the shop keeper said we could collect and find within this region..' Chï said calmly. '
However she specifically stated that the basket was particularly for flowers, petals, any form of florae in which herbs would grow, if we found any' she continued, pointing towards the center of the basket, where there was a large six petal flower woven in the wicket. '
If you care, bundle the roots, stems and separate the leaves, then bring them to me so that I may store them properly within the stachel.' She continued before waltzing forth. '
If you need me, I'll be further up the stream, where I can hear you upon calling.'
Streaming forth, Chï found a dry patch of twine which was further from the line of the rivine. She saught to stream forth to pick up the dry twine to help in bundling the roots and stems in allocation of finding any of Chï's particular liking. After which, she minded towards the nile again, listening to Inarie inform her on the reliquary of basil in cuisine. She quickly scryed through the book and found a page listing of basil. '
Ah~' she said with plediant joy. '
I also know basil to be a portion of the saint's wyrm. I believe it's a herb which wards the basilisk away, keeping it's gaze from petrifying us into it's temptations, hence it's name of 'Basil'. Otherwise, it's a mint because of it's pungent taste.' Chï intelled
She went following the path to the training ground towards the stream, where she figured other herbs would be growing along the nile upon the banks of river. Among the irrigation of the rivine, she found several patches of different herbs; sproating large leaves, small purple colored flowers, and other which were white pitcher pots. Upon admiring the flowers, Chi unlatched the backpack, opened up the pouches and setting the satchel down beside her, flipping through the book, seeking to find any information in which could guide her to the identification of the essence in knowing the plants were while resting upon her knees gently in meditation.
Upon scrying, she streamed towards the back of the book in which she found a picture of the pitcher plants under the higher classification of 'Nepetoidæ', which reminded her of the planet Neptune, thier scientific name being 'Lepichinia', all acclimating within the genus of the Lamiacæa 'mint' or 'deadnettle' family, in which the known name being 'Pitcher Sage.' '
These are also in the family of Lamiacæa or mints and deadnettle, we have found.' Chï said out towards Inarie.
I scryed forth through the text of the book, uncovering that of the family of the 'Lamiacæa', they were a genus of 'Lepichinia' and had other scientific names based on color, in which emanated in front of me. The White petals of the pitcher sage are known as '
Caulescæns'. The Pink petals of the pitcher sage are known as '
Fragrans'. The Lilac petals of the pitcher sage were known as '
Calycina'. The Lavender petals of the pitcher sage are known as 'Schiedæna'. The Indigo petals of the pitcher sage were known as '
Bella'.
Immediately, she began to remember what the shop keeper said based on the collection and storage for the mission of gathering the herbs: '
Stems in the Satchel, Leaflets within the Left pouch, and Roots in the Right pouch.' I inquired '
Although, what should I do with the seeds?' she asked her self. Upon opening the entrance of the pack, she found different color cloths which wrapped the glasses within. Gold was for the bobbules to fill in with fresh spring water of the purest source. Green was for the dirt, bark, and what she guessed was for seeds. It was the only inclusion the shopkeeper didn't give her information on, so she saught to store the seeds in there. She unwrapped the green cloth to find there round jars, with clamps upon the top, unlatching the cover and opening it's entrance. It would
pop open, from being sealed in air. She did the same with another jar, then the last, setting the gathered dry twine within, then placing them all towards the side of her.
Chi saught to remove the plants in thier entirety, so she could prospect them and sort them accordingly for the shop keeper. She sifted her hands past the flowers, leaves and stems towards the grass beneathe the terrace. Thankfully, the stream of the rivine irrigated the and fertilized the patches of herbs, in which kept the ground soft for easier access. Upon gracing past thier essence, the dew, from the fog began to drop upon the ground below, saturating my hand as I slid it easily within the soil, so did the seeds of the white pitchersages, falling amongst her right hand. Chi tried to recover from her mistake by utilizing her left had to pick them all up and place them in one of the empty jars, gathering them one by one. '
My, the Caulescæns have to be quite gentlier than I am. I must pardon within grace if I am to acquire the finesse to properly apprehend and gather them.' She then lightened her touch, applying chakra amongst her hands, streaming it from her heart and lungs, towards her finger tips, digging within the dirt. To her array, the plants would not move, however her slinder and long fingers seamed directly into the dirt below. Upon lifting, she found her hands cupped underneath the bundle of plants, enchenched in thier roots which she finely pulled out of the ground without breaking any strands. She held the bundle of white Caulescæns, gently sifting her hands above one of the crate and barrel jars, relinquishing the dirt from thier roots completely, exposing the plants in entirety, her hands being clean from the remnants of the dirt by filling the jar up one forth. After seeing the progress, she knew what she had to do to complete the rest of the four herbal types for the 'Lepichinia' genus.
She separated the bundles, being fourty eight individual plants, which she counted one by one. She separated one plant, holstering it within the book, which caused her to scry pass the glossery, where it contained white lightly filled was papers, with etched lines near the for serading out of it's spine. She swiped her left hand pass a page, where it innately ripped out five pieces, in which she sat above her backpack, so they wouldn't get wet by the dew upon the ground. she wrapped six full Caulescæn plants within, folding it as a bookmark, scryed back towards it's origin, and placed the preserved flower within. after prospecting, the white plant, Chï began to shake the flowers above the jar filled with seeds, applying chakra to thier nature, which caused seeds and pollen to drop from thier buds, filling the barrel up one forth. In remembering the shop keepers objective, she removed the leaves, stems and roots, separating them, then prepared the twine into reeds, twisting them into small rope. The rope was wrapped around the roots, then stems, and lastly, the leaves were folded into another sheet of wax paper; all which was placed within thier respective locations, leaflets in the left pouch, roots in the right pouch, bundled stems in the satchel, the flower pods within the basket. When she was finished with the first batch, she called out towards Inarie asking,
'
Are there any other herbs which you have located in gathering which meets your eye?'
