The Snow ShieldThe northern portion of the Land of Mountains is covered in vast snowy hills and ice fortifications said to have been created by Yuki exiles sometime in the 6th century. This area provides a bulwark style defense against the Land of Iron and has been the subject of several disputes with border governors in Hi no Tetsu and Hi no Tsuchi.
