I'm going to have to formally challenge Nozomi's last post as I don't think it represents a proper or even possible response to the attack I described.

This description is impossible. And I'll proceed to explain why.

First of all, unlike popular belief would tell you, Amaterasu isn't shot from the eye on a straight line towards the target. Amaterasu is cast wherever the Mangekyou Sharingan is focused on. So if Akihiro was looking at a tree, the flames would erupt from the tree when the technique was cast. We have several examples of this in canon. This mechanic is further supported on the site by the fact that I asked staff a year ago whether Amaterasu could be used through glass or not, and this was the response I got:

where he usually tilts his glasses down before firing

Now, here are a couple of quotes from my post:

This is the description of the instant in which Akihiro used the technique. In my description I make it clear that Akihiro can see Nozomi's face, eyes and neck. So from this, it's clear that Akihiro is able to see Nozomi's skin. I even mentioned the hair wouldn't be an obstruction to his vision, even tho I didn't have to do that.

As such, the fire would never start on her hair. Eventually it would spread to her hair, sure. But the target of Akihiro's attack and consequentially the place where the fire began and erupted from would be her skin.

As such, the initial quote:

Is virtually impossible because the black flames of amaterasu would have targeted her skin and burned it way before they burned her hair.
In addition and as a side note, I do believe that even if they did start on her hair (which they didn't), that would still represent S-rank heat very close to Nozomi's skin, face and eyes. Which would severely damage them because Katon (and especially high power Katon) doesn't need to actually touch a victim to burn. Being very close to a fire will burn you as well. And if this is true if the fire had started on her hair, one can imagine the sort of damage she takes when we see the fire starting on her actual skin.

If Noz agrees then I ask that she makes edits on her post to reflect these facts. Otherwise, the Conflict Resolution procedure will be activated.


PS: The reason I made this post is because I'll be in class for the next several hours and I don't have the time to explain it and argue over discord. I felt this would be easier and potentially make things move faster, since we're on a timer. I'll delete it once this is solved.


Edit: it should also be noted that Akihiro used a precog combined with Sharingan to target Nozomi's skin.

RULING:

Nozomi's post stating that her hair blocked Amaterasu is invalid and she must edit accordingly. As Lyon mentioned, if it was truly impossible for Akihiro to see any part of Nozomi's skin (face, eyes, or neck) an edit should have been requested. Akihiro has used the Sharingan's predictive and analytical abilities to ascertain the exact positioning of Nozomi's body in relation to her hair. In fact, he mentions taking stock of her movements far earlier than in his combat post and in his attack post he specifically accounts for the presence of her hair. Nozomi's hair is not an immovable/impenetrable shield that remains static as she moves around. When she's walking to Hana her hair will shift its position and potentially expose parts of her face, eyes, and neck. That's just how the human body works. Now if it is Nozomi's contention that at no point her skin could possibly be seen through her hair then that's something that she needs to alert Akihiro of but unless there is a technique or specific ability at play here I do not interpret hair to act as an viable shield to Amaterasu. Nozomi has relatively short hair and to hold that it can block Amaterasu without taking ANY damage would essentially allow anyone with long hair to insta-block the technique. I would find that to be absurd.

Additionally, Nozomi specifically mentions that Akihiro is in her peripheral vision:

Addressing Akihiro, Nozomi shifted her stance slightly, keeping him more in her peripherals than before, but never letting her attention slip from Rin or the others.

She clarifies that she is not looking directly at him and thus is not vulnerable to Genjutsu: Sharingan which is fair, but she does note that at the very least she can see him. This means at least part of her eyeball is exposed to Akihiro. If part of her eyeball is exposed to Akihiro then she can see Akihiro through that part of her eyeball. In turn, Akihiro can see that part of her eyeball. Not enough eye contact to cast visual Genjutsu but certainly enough to aim and connect Amaterasu.

Nozomi's hair will do some blocking but ultimately not enough to leave her totally unscathed. Unless she edits to use some other valid intervening technique or ability, Amaterasu will connect to part of her eye, cheek, and neck inflicting severe S-Rank burn damage. Fortunately due to her high Con it would not be enough to take her out of commission.

Additionally, Nozomi's usage of V1 to contain and remove the flames is valid.

Reasoning:

However, the black flames will strike part of her eye, cheek, and neck. As a result they will instantly engulf her head and from there they will begin to spread down her body. Nozomi will be knocked unconscious as a result of Akihiro landing such a powerful blow, however, V1 and major Bijuu healing will be permitted to take effect less than 1 to 2 seconds later. This healing will undo the damage specified, increase her Con to S, and allow her to remove the flames as described. Nozomi may edit so that her post is consistent with this ruling.

Appeals Decision

The timing of the Bijuu healing was contested. Bijuu healing is described in the rules as "instant" however rather than taking absolutely no time, Staff has ruled that it will take a short period of time lasting under 1-2 seconds. Thus, Nozomi will be able to take damage and heal from it within that time-frame. She may then obtain the benefits of S-Tier Constitution and thereby remove the Amaterasu from her body using V1 cloak.

Just when things were starting to calm down and Rin was going to even pay for Akihiro's entry. Before Rin could even speak to Akihiro there was a sound of alarm around the gates. Shifting his eyes over to the source, it was none other than Nozomi as her face was covered in black fire. It wasn't a hard guess that an immediate threat had just appeared, and now the Kirigakure military sprung into action. While the two guards on the ground were focusing on putting out the black fire, the air whistles from above.

Before Nozomi begins weaving for her jutsu. In truth he really does look a bit disappointed, but with a quick charge of fuuton covering his left hand Rin waved his hand above him. This generates multiple wind blades forming into a single mass that will slam against the two guards that were falling down. A simple effort, but efficient under most circumstances. As for the shuriken around both Rin and Akihiro. Rin keeps an eye on them for wire and suddenly change in trajectory. Otherwise Rin simultaneously charges his Fuuton chakra again within his lungs before exhaling a strong fist of wind. Capable of warding off small projectiles all the way to the guards stationed above the gate. Additionally, it'll push back the moisture in the air and given Rin's and Akihiro's position. Meaning that whatever is trying to bind Akihiro through moisture in the air will be forced to be at least 7 meters away from Akihiro and himself. Both actions can be accomplished within less than a second given Rin's impressive accuracy and speed in channeling his chakra.

"Sorry, but none of you are my target. Do yourselves a favor and either close the gates or stay away from here. Things might get messy." Rin spoke to the guards in an uninterested tone. More than likely they would be battered at most as the Wind Slash was really meant to throw his assailants off. Unless they wish to press their luck further, Rin won't pressure them. Instead his eyes are focused on Nozomi, Hana, and Akihiro. After all, his clan leader is the one who initiated the fight, so naturally his place is to protect Akihiro regardless of what actions he takes. Until both parties, or three parties in this case, subside Rin will not allow himself to be detained or restrained.

Akihiro had never counted on taking down Nozomi with a single hit. Even if it was the powerful amaterasu technique, the girl was still a Jinchuuriki. Being of such a condition himself, Akihiro was well aware of the healing abilities of the demons hidden within some people. What he hadn't known, was just how instantaneous they were. He had completely destroyed Nozomi's cervical nerve on her neck and boiled her brain...and yet the girl was back to conscious and fully healed almost immediately after it happened. This was completely illogical...by all accounts the girl should be dead from the moment her brain boiled. Restoring a body after its host died did not bring back the host. A healthy corpse would still be just that: A corpse.

But apparently, for some illogical reason, the Bijuu chakra was not only able to stop Amaterasu after it had connected on the skin but it was also quite capable of bringing back the dead with a healthy body! It was like every Jinchuuriki had their own little tailed jesus inside them, capable of bringing them from death not once but twice! This, while extremely inconvenient for the current situation, was very good to know. He would make sure to use this Jinchuuriki trait to the now known full extent of its abilities in the future.

Alas, while it was inconvenient, it was certainly not surprising. Nothing Nozomi did could ever surprise Akihiro. Not while his Mangekyou Sharingan gaze held her in its sight, while his sensory ability held her within its range and absolutely not while his analytical abilities still held true against the 3 tailed Jinchuuriki.

He saw the Bijuu chakra pouring out of the seal before the healing happened. That was the ability of his Sharingan. So Akihiro knew exactly where the seal on Nozomi was. With that, he got even more information about Nozomi. His sensory abilities told him of the Bijuu Chakra leaking out even before his Sharingan actually saw it. There was this...evil presence in the air. An ominous breeze, or perhaps just a weird feeling in general. Either way, he knew. Even before his sensory told him, he knew what was coming.

Counter-attacking Nozomi became a simple matter once he knew what she was going to do about the water techniques cast by the Kirigakure ninja. She had rushed forward in order to avoid the incoming water waves. But once again Akihiro had her read like a book. The how, when and where she would be. And at that point it was only a matter of pre-emptively activating the right technique and properly time it. All Akihiro needed to do was gesture his hand at Nozomi. Because he acted preemptively, Akihiro had all the time in the world to aim and activate the technique, since this process began the moment the Amaterasu landed. Since she was barely paying attention to him- she was first confused by the black flames, then in pain, then her cloak activated and she got busy dodging the waves, preparing seals for the Water Heavens Convergence Technique, and noticing the properties of Amaterasu on the water- this gesture would most likely go by unnoticed and just as she rushed away from the water waves a large spike erupted directly from under her left foot. Flawlessly aimed with the aid of the Sharingan's precognitive abilities and Akihiro's mental calculations, the  spike would quickly erupt from the ground at a speed of 175 meters per second, perfectly timed to go through and destroy Nozomi's foot and knee even considering her moving speed which he easily and accurately predicted. The jutsu would be timed to also go through the area in front of her chest where she was making seals and strike the soft tissue of the neck where its sharpness, length and overall size would be enough to completely separate the woman's head from her body. This would cause not only decapitation, but several mortal wounds as the amputation of a limb quickly becomes deadly by bleedout if not attended by a trained doctor. This targeting was made possible because Nozomi was rushing out of the wave's path. She did so by running, and this process made it so that at the moment of impact she had her left foot forward, making this targeting angle entirely possible to achieve by Akihiro's several tools for aiming techniques. Akihiro was still 20 meters away from the gates, and Nozomi was between him and the gates now. This put her within the range of Akihiro's doton technique.

Of course, this would interrupt whatever handseals she attempted to make for the Water Heavens Convergence Technique.

As Akihiro knew now from experience, one needed to kill a Jinchuuriki several times. They were all just remarkably bad at dying- so he decided to play it safe and activate the technique a second time. Almost at the same time as he gestured with his right hand, the Sparrow also gestured with his left one, activating the technique a second time.  A second spike would emerge from under Nozomi's predicted position. It would come at her from below very shortly after the first spike, and would impale the woman. The sheer size, speed and strength of the spike would cause it to go through the woman and impale her. If the Bijuu healing had somehow kicked in at this point and the cloak disappeared due to lack of chakra, the technique would be strong enough to go through her body and pierce her skull.

Meanwhile his sensory had told him that there was a mist ninja trying to tackle him from behind. All Akihiro did was sidestep on the tree branch and watch as the tackle failed and the man launched himself towards the ground. This of course, assuming Rin's techniques had somehow failed. Which was unlikely.

The ANBU who were descending to detain the two Uchiha boys were easily dealt with by a passing blast of air created by Rin. The technique was originally designed to serve as an unstoppable blade to slice through soft matter like that of light armor and human flesh. However it was modified to serve as a less-than-lethal alternative. The blunt air blade slammed into the torsos of the Kirigakure shinobi and forced them aside. It was a powerful blow that forced their bodies aside and caused some impressive blunt trauma to their torsos, but they were in relatively good shape. Tumbling across the road they winced in pain. The guards up top halted their shuriken assault to avoid friendly fire.

Hana's mind raced with internal conflict, as her personal bias and village protocol fought with each other in a feud to see which would reign superior. In less than two seconds she snapped back to reality. The two guards on the ground worked to negotiate with the otherworldly flames as a natural response to the unmandated assault, but Hana would override their action. "The blonde is the enemy, you dumbasses!" Hana said this with total confidence as if she wasn't dealing with internal conflict the whole time. Nozomi's rogue status only meant a small bounty reward for herself and was not the primary star of her decision. She betrayed the village over two years ago and has developed worlds of power since her departure from the notorious organization run by Honiko. She betrayed her family and friends that day she left the village.

It all boiled down in her head, figuratively speaking, to Hana questioning her motives entirely. They were not wholesome to say the least, and seeing as her head was still wanted on the bounty board she had little reason to go against the other two who politically held an alliance with Kirigakure. Attacking them would go against their treaty which could spell disaster for her and the welfare of the Land of Water. What did she have to gain by siding with Nozomi? What could she possibly have business with the village she left without hesitation? The chances of Nozomi wishing to join Kirigakure again and ask for forgiveness was a pipe dream, and something that would not be treated with kindness she'd imagine. Agreeing with Akihiro and ultimately Konoha's side at least gave her the mental security of her "just doing her job."

Hana had the most distance between her from the fray which she increased by skipping back a few meters quietly using the Silent Killing Technique distancing herself from Nozomi a total of ten meters, and twenty from Rin and Akihiro. Hana felt she was better serving as a commander in this fight for now. She just wasn't a fan of sprints. And speed was a huge emphasis for close quarters fighters as it allowed them to stay in their effective range. She also cringed at the idea of utilizing any Kaguya technique as that generally involved her perforating her armor. It was highly impractical and inconvenient. It was why many Kaguya dressed lightly, but seeing as she just came back from a raze she needed to cover up fairly well. It was a bad habit of many young Kaguya males in their adolescence to sprout bones out randomly. Some thought it was funny or 'cute' to act in such a grotesque manner and ruin their clothes. Hana just found it in bad taste, which meant a lot coming from her, and loathed to ever know somebody like that. She preferred her female friends because of it.

The gate guards responded to Hana's order by ceasing their water technique and both jumping back away from Nozomi and towards Hana to stand on either side of her. The guards up top on the walls and directly below them wove together eight unspecified hand signs, as the learning scroll for them required eight but did not list them anywhere. They were all the same, however, as they were the same technique. Raising their open palms to near their face they breathed into them forming two balls of highly compressed air. They spun rapidly forming instantly, and once they were ripened they all were fired at their foe, which was now Nozomi. The missiles assaulted Nozomi at rapid speeds appearing very difficult to track to the untrained eye. Two of the spheres hooked from the caster's location to strike Nozomi's sides as a total of four would be targeting her ribs on either side. The remaining four spheres strove for a direct assault impacting the front of her body. The result would be eight total dense balls of air bombarding her torso at once resulting in collaborated damage since they were all targeting her torso. All sharing the equivalent of two S-ranks they had the tenacity to cause heavy trauma to her flesh and the organs beneath. The bombardment would destroy the cloak in the process, assuming it was necessary given their attacks were blunt in nature.

This served at icing to the cake Akihiro was whipping up by utilizing his otherworldly psychic powers to seemingly prepare one attack after another flawlessly. And for a moment Hana thought she was the alien. The two water guards added their own aid to the assault by Akihiro and the wall guards by performing four unspecified hand signs. The two shared the same hand signs as they produced Wind chakra and exhaled it en masse. The result was a wall of air blades racing towards Nozomi's flank and beyond, stopping just a few meters short of Rin and Akihiro's location. The two would likely experience a sudden blast of air, though relatively harmless. Nozomi would be showered by a barrage of carnage which Hana felt would be impossible to handle. Even she stood in amazement after her order. The guards executed their combo as if they had numerous times and with such unrelenting firepower she began to question if this was even legitimate.

Hana let her men deal with the rogue. Their attacks all rolled out in harmony shutting down any viable means of escape that she could think of. Though, she noticed from her peripheral that the other Uchiha boy, Rin, had not lifted a finger besides when it concerned his own well being. She couldn't blame him as she would do the exact same, but she had use for his support. Shouting at the top of her lungs she gave the boy an order. "Try helping out, cuckie." Her words did not specify anybody, but she knew that Rin knew who she was referring to. And that's what made her words hurt most. Rin would suffer psychological damage to Hana's bullying if he did not prepare himself.

As Nozomi moved forward, she noticed a quick pulse as the earth shifted, and started to react to it, knowing the ground beneath her wasn't safe to walk on. She pushed up off the ground with a jump but wasn't quite able to escape the first spike. As it pierced her foot though, and into her leg somewhat, rendering it temporarily useless, she had activated her Chakra Mode, rather than V1, immediately noticing the drain in her chakra begin as the technique was powerful but not without cost, and her reflexes sharpened immensely, the cloak providing an even further protective barrier, and increasing her speed, strength, durability, and reflexes all at the same time. Nozomi's body was coated in a light blue flame-like chakra, something completely unseen by anyone before this point.

Even as fast and strong as Akihiro's technique was, it wasn't able to deal her its complete damage as she moved out of the path of it, carried upwards in the air by the spear itself, although she took some damage on her arm and torso as it sliced upwards. She kicked her good foot to the side that Akihiro was on, forming a platform of petals to springboard off of using her Misty Petal Platform technique, and used it as a launch pad to bounce herself out of harms way of not just the second spear of earth that Akihiro had tried to impale her with, but incidently, the attacks of the Kiri-nin, as well as away from Rin, the Kiri-nin Hana, and Akihiro.

See, a lot had happened in a very short span of time, but Hana's order wouldn't be obeyed fast enough as it was, much slower getting out to correct the actions of the Kiri-nin than was required for them to also not only acknowledge the order, but then drop their jutsu, reposition, locate Nozomi, prime a jutsu and launch at her if they wanted to have a chance to hit her. If they decided to do so, she would be long gone from there, and unless they could feasibly track her movements, there wasn't any possible way for them to nail her.

Hana had made a mistake in siding with Akihiro. She should have remained neutral if she wasn't going to join Nozomi. The Kiri-nin had also made a mistake, but they were loyal, Nozomi couldn't really fault them. The guards listened to orders, and their initial choice was to apprehend Akihiro and Rin, rather than gang up on Nozomi like they were just ordered to. Nozomi understood following orders, it was something she'd done for most of her life. Hana made the order though, so she was very much so a subject of Nozomi's ire now, if neither of them died today. Unfortunately for the guards, Nozomi valued her own life more than she cared about their loyalty. She would feel nothing if they died, as she usually didn't feel anything for most people dying.

While in the air, and with her much increased coordination, Nozomi blazed through the hand seals for Water Heaven's Convergence, nothing to stop her at this point, simultaneously healing herself from the wounds she'd received. See, while knowing what Nozomi was going to do was one thing, being able to do something about it was a completely different thing. Nozomi's speed when she was in this form was unmatched, and most would find it hard to even follow her movements, let alone react with enough speed to hit her. Perhaps she should fight them now.

Although, with the odds currently as they were, Nozomi didn't favor her chances after being blindsided by Akihiro. Isobu's chakra was drastically reduced saving her, and with Akihiro and Rin both being Jinchuuriki, as well as Kiri's forces no longer being neutral, perhaps a retreat was advised for the time being. Nozomi was a stubborn girl, and used to facing odds that were massively stacked against her, but she also wasn't a complete idiot. This wasn't a fight she needed to be in right now. Not when she could do it on her own terms later on. This wasn't like the Prison, or her Control fight, or even Emberdome. She wasn't stuck here by anything. Honiko had taught Nozomi for several years, and one thing she always tried to drill into Nozomi's head was that she shouldn't let anyone dictate the terms of her fights, and that if she could control the variables of a fight, she would come out the victor.

"Retreat for now." Isobu agreed, not particularly eager to be killed quite so quickly after having lost a fight for control against Nozomi. The process of reconsituting himself wasn't a fun one, even if he could do it over and over. At least Nozomi had proven her will was strong enough to be worth wielding his power. The 3 tails had decided to throw his support behind Nozomi until such time as it was that called her to the ultimate death.

Nozomi's feet touched the ground, having moved herself over 40 meters with a single bound, and she didn't stop moving, but nor would she leave without a parting gift. The Amaterasu flame was engulfing the water that it had been trapped in, and funny enough, the guards had dropped their walls, which only served to spread it more as it touched more and more water, which was sloshing to the ground. Nozomi didn't need to see it to have control of it. Constituting as much water from the moisture in the air as she could muster in the area behind her that was within the 100 meter range of her technique, as well as from the constantly saturated ground, the trees, everywhere she could naturally pull water from, Nozomi's hands parted the water that was on fire in two directions: Towards the walls of Kiri's gates, and towards the treeline Akihiro was in.

Perhaps it could be contained, but following Nozomi would be less advised in a group. If they wanted to try and catch her, they would need to decide who followed and who stayed to handle the flames, another precious time waster. However, having formed water in so many areas, as the fire touched more and more water, it would spread more and more like an oil fire. As Nozomi left the range, all the water she had pulled out would drop to the ground, carrying any flames they had with them, which would inevitably touch and light more and more on fire as they did so, even if slow to do so. However, she'd also attacked both the wall and the treeline as well, which would inevitably cause a forest fire as well as burn down Kiri's walls if not dealt with properly. She didn't need to fully guide them either, letting the momentum of the water they rode flow it where it needed to go.

After making it about 200 meters or so, Nozomi began to flip through some more seals, spinning around and launching an additional amount of water, using the giant waves of her Water Release: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave aimed towards them to create an even more insane amount of water, that would continue on past that area, carrying the flames out even further whether her initial moves had been successful or not. However, she didn't stop moving either, never remaining still, continually backpedaling, ignoring anything that would get in her way. Trees fell and shattered in her wake, but didn't even faze her in the slightest.

However, she'd done so not only to force them to contend with the flames, and new waves, but also to put an obstacle between herself and them. With the black fire cutting her off from a straight line to follow her, she'd disappear from their sight almost immediately given the disparity between her speed and theirs. Following her immediately wouldn't likely be possible, unless they had some way to match her speed and track her at the same time, which was equally as unlikely. By the time anyone actually picked up her trail, she'd likely be long gone.

If she was going to be named an enemy, she'd show them just how dangerous she could be. Kiri getting caught in the crossfire was Hana's fault here, things could have ended peacefully and Kiri would have been safe from Nozomi. And Akihiro would be to blame as well for launching a jutsu like that so close to the village if it caused any massive amount of damage.

Akihiro though, had made a worse mistake than just launching Amaterasu at Nozomi. He had failed to kill her, and now things were personal. She hadn't cared about him before, and would have left things neutrally. But now she wouldn't just kill him one day. Now she would destroy him, and everything he cared about. If he valued Konoha so much, she'd kill more and more of them for sure. But more than that, his clan was going to be destroyed. Reduced to nothing. Anyone she came across that he cared about, she would take from him. Akihiro, for all his intelligence, brilliance, and planning had gone and done the dumbest thing he could have done: He'd created an enemy out of someone who he didn't have to have. All because he couldn't keep his finger off the trigger. Nozomi was a bomb, and he had lit the fuse.

RULING: Nozomi will be able to jump to attempt to avoid the spike but her reaction will be delayed and thus given the high speed of the technique she will sustain severe although not lethal injuries. I agree with Akihiro that the nature of the precog allows him to prep and activate the technique so as to make it very difficult to avoid (all the more reason offensive precogs MUST be fixed). I agree that Nozomi cannot really see the gesture and even if she could, D-Rank Intel is simply not sufficient to connect that gesture with the imminent usage of the technique. She also may not use Isobu to alert her to the fact that this specific technique will be used. She may have a close relationship with him but ultimately she has not unlocked Bond in this specific thread and thus she cannot use Isobu's general knowledge and advice to her own benefit. That's simply not allowed. I also want to say if Nozomi snaps into Chakra Mode, she is no longer scrambling his sharingan's ability.

That being said, I agree with Nozomi that A-Tier Perception could still feel a shift in the Earth that occurs due to the manifestation of a giant spike. Unfortunately, because of how fast she is moving, the speed of Akihiro's technique, and the prepared nature of it at a critical window of vulnerability, her ability to react will be delayed even at her high coordination and speed. She will jump and avoid death but the spike will still gore her foot rendering it unusable (unless she heals) and slice her arm and chest pretty badly incurring significant bleed damage. She isn't in danger of dying but it will hobble and arrest her movements. She might still be able to completely avoid the second spike given it is moving comparatively slowly and she still has outrageously powerful speed/coor. Unfortunately, dodging the other attacks lobbied at her simultaneously will be obviously difficult given her injuries but healing could probably put her back in action to respond to those attacks. Nozomi must edit to be consistent with this ruling

Let's go Kyuubi. Time to stretch our arms a bit. Rin told the massive nine tails that remained behind the seal as always. Kurama wolfishly grinned as he was filled to the brim with bloodthirsty and hatred.

How much do you think you can handle? The bijuu asked the host who looked over his shoulder. Looking straight into the giant eye of glowing rage unflinching as the Uchiha held up 3 fingers.

Isobu is the Three Tails bijuu, so let's go three tails. Kurama grunts before the transparent chakra in the form of bubbles seep from the seal. Engulfing the young Uchiha until it cocooned his body. It felt toxic as it seemed to burn his skin and fill his mind with immense amounts of hate. It felt like his head was going to split in half, but Rin kept a firm hand over his consciousness and brings the control over to his side as much as Rin can.

This scene was one of chaos to best describe it. One second the Kiri Shinobi were going to detain them. The next Hana is ordering them to redirect their attention to Nozomi. However, Rin knew that would be too late. There was no time to think, no time to hesitate. Rin's mind stirred as scenarios went from one thing to the next. Mostly involving on what Nozomi would do, and one thing for certain is that water technique of hers will be more troublesome. Which meant it'll endanger not just themselves, but to the people in Kirigakure potentially. In which case spurs Rin into action.

On one side Akihiro was gesturing with his hands, but before Akihiro did so Rin utilized a variety of techniques as the air around condensed to the point where the ground cracked like a web. Before Nozomi reached the point where the spike was, Rin moved to intercept her. The bubbling cloak of chakra forming in his body as the primal rage swelled within his body.

His canines grew sharper, his pupils became slits and emitted an intimidating glow. His eyelids grew darker along with the outlines of his mouth. His nails extend into sharp points that appear to be excellent tools for slicing. Once the cloak formed, Rin demonstrates not one, not two, but three tails total. Rage was filled in the body language and in his eyes as there was an equivalent bloodthirst in him too.

The instant the tails manifested, two immediately lunge over at the flames. The chakra arms weave around any individuals until there was one tail on one side of Amaterasu, the second tail on the other. Like a sandwich, the tails expand in size as they clap against the flames. Coating the chakra arms with the everburning fire and basically forcing the flames to burn the chakra.

Simultaneously, given Rin's enhanced speed and reflexes, Rin lashed out one chakra arm at the same blurring speeds towards Nozomi. The arm will attempt snatch Nozomi in the air after the spikes burst from the ground to run her through. Success or fail, Rin would leap high at an arc over Nozomi while charging up a massive amount of chakra in his right arm. By then, both of his Amaterasu coated chakra arms would come back. So if Nozomi proceeds to leap up as his first strike fails. He would be waiting for her, and with a grunt of effort as the two Amaterasu arms attempts to slam her from both sides in a haphazard manner that's known scramble even the Sharingan. If successful then she would be slammed with great force in addition to being heavily burned from the Amaterasu now coating her body. Success or fail, Rin will alter his body into a motion where he could throw a mighty punch against her sternum as she is simultaneously being assaulted from below. Simultaneously, Rin cloaks his fist in condensed Fuuton chakra while in motion. The immense rage within him and in the bijuu he is hosting plain in both his face and growl following his punch. From the third tail below as it now attempts to slam against her to force her to get closer as the other two tails continues to squeeze very tightly and would also let go at the moment Rin's fist connects.

Upon hit, there will be a heavy turbulence whipping at everyone as the Fuuton chakra is released into a sharp cutting blade of wind is formed. Normally this blade will simply cut into their targets, but with the Amaterasu cloaking her body and his tails. It has a good reaction as suddenly both of them are engulfed in a 3 meter sphere of black flames. Meaning that the blade would try to pierce through her body, send multiple smaller blades of wind to slice up her organs. Followed up with very intense burns as it tries to burn everything from the inside in addition to be completely cloaked in Amaterasu.

The force will likely push Nozomi in great velocity back down to the earth spikes awaiting for her return. Probably risk being impaled by the two spikes as well. Rin, also cloaked in Amaterasu, keeps the neverending flames suppressed on his cloak. Next the young Uchiha will launch three of his tails at high speed down to Nozomi's body where two will seek to impale her stomach and chest. While the other will attempt to grab around her head before a sudden pull from the head is done. What's even more scary than a three out of nine tailed Jinchuriki? Being completely shrouded in black fire as hardly anything of Rin can be seen except for the glowing red eyes. Rin uses the tail if successful around Nozomi's head to pull himself down faster as he quickly rotates his body to gather momentum. Once he was moving barely past her, Rin will use the sharp claws from his right hand to swipe down at her throat. As the damage will be the result of nearly severing her head from her body. Flames that cloak his body will stick onto her flesh as it tries to turn her body into ashes. With the flames so close and into her body most of her organs will boil and reduce to ash. Including a second attempt to broil her brain. The two tails in her body will retract and slam violently against her neck and head.

In combination of using all three tails with the speed of his fall. Flames will make it easier as Rin ultimately tries to sever Nozomi's head from her body. Flipping his body to land on his feet, the ground shook almost like a small earthquake given the force behind his fall. The earth beneath Rin cracked into a web as it travels a few meters beyond. Rin honestly felt like he was being burned, but it felt more like Kurama's power than Amaterasu itself.

If successful with all attempts and Nozomi's head were severed. His tails will catch the head so that it didn't hit the ground before Rin turned his eyes of burning hatred (no pun intended) that is a mix of Kurama's and his own, towards Akihiro specifically as he held up Nozomi's head that probably is being reduced to scorched skull.

"Put these flames out Sparrow! Before they spread into the city or worse!" Rin's words dropped with venom that reflected how angry he really was. Time was wasted here, and for all Rin knows his time was up. Yui might already be dissected her organs before being killed. Yui could still be alive and this whole deal was a hoax to try to acquire more power.

[Attempting Exit Interruption on Nozomi]

Rin's Stuff:

It was nice to see Rin finally moving to help take down this inernational criminal. Akihiro wasn't quite sure of why he hadn't done anything before, but seeing the way the young Uchiha took control of his bijuu to attempt to viciously assault Nozomi by even taking control of and weaponizing the flames of Amaterasu was definitely quite something. To be completely honest, it made Akihiro proud of his fellow clan mate. He had perfectly timed his movement so that he would catch Nozomi right at the highest point of her jump.

Unfortunately Akihiro couldn't completely trust Rin to get the job done. Not because he doubted his abilities, but because he himself had killed Nozomi once before and her Bijuu had just granted her the favor to bring her back to life from the brink of death. So even if Rin was successful in his venture, there was something more to be done here.

Alas, at this point Akihiro expected Nozomi to try to escape. Not only was she severely outnumbered and outgunned by 2 other Jinchuurikis, but her own bijuu chakra should be approaching less than half of what its original amount was. Being a Jinchuuriki himself, Akihiro understood what it took to heal up a mortal wound. And the wounds she had suffered from the earth spike (especially yhe wound on her right foot) would also require healing if she was to successfully run away from this scenario. Akihiro had no doubt she would heal those, and consume even more chakra.

Akihiro was a clever lad and liked to be prepared, especially after investing so much effort into this battle. As soon as his eyes and sensory picked up on the fact that his earth spike hadn't quite done its job, Akihiro's right hand fingertips erupted into small flames which he slammed against the wood he was standing on immediately. The contact between the wood and his fingers happened as Nozomi turned her good foot towards him and kicked a sort of petal platform. Akihiro's eyes picked up on that as well, quite quickly. It was an interesting jutsu, and one he would certainly make use of later.

Alas, she had springboarded from the petal platform at an amazing speed. But if Akihiro's mistake had been to be making enemies out of people he didn't need to make enemies of, Nozomi's fatal mistake was her insistence on moving at speeds beyond her perceptive ability. Moving at speeds now almost two tiers above her perception, Nozomi would stand no chance to react against the instantaneous barrier that spawned around the entire group. The Uchiha Flame formation was an incredibly strong technique, made far stronger by Matatabi's chakra running through Akihiro's tenketsu system.

Akihiro made it occupy a radius of 30 meters around the slammed area. This was a large enough area to include the whole group, but a short enough area to prevent Nozomi from being able to react properly. In fact, the barrier would show up right in front of her, mere inches separating the two as she was making the seals for the Water Heavens Convergence jutsu. Since she was moving at high speeds through the air and busy making technique hand-seals, it would be extremely hard for her to react in time to prevent her body impacting an extremely hard surface which resisted even the impacts of S-ranked strength and happened to induce severe burns on anyone that touched it.

She would thus likely slam hard against the barrier. And this would also prevent her from running away or even trying to escape Rin's savage assault, even if he had failed to catch her with his first one.

Hana was famished for her burgers. It was bad enough she had to deal with this conflict after a week's long mission. And it wasn't just any mission. Raids generally restricted the service a Shinobi would have significantly. She lived on eggs and congee for almost every meal. If she got lucky she could come across some processed snacks to add some diversity to her regular meals. But they were never enough to sate her desire for a genuine cheeseburgers. She was supposed to reward herself if it hadn't been for this mess. But Hana was certain she would get her cheeseburger by the end of this. Death was simply not an option for her.

She was quite surprised how fast these Konoha Shinobi reacted. They were either highly organized or had other worldly intellect which allowed them to somehow see the future. Regardless, Hana in part was also in tune with them. Her chakra sensory allowed her to see Akihiro, Rin, and Nozomi prepare their technique no matter how soon they planned ahead. Hana detected Akihiro's chakra skillfully set itself in Nozomi's trajectory. The attack was just fast enough to gore the girl partially as the spikes indiscriminately slaughtered parts of her lower body, namely her foot and leg. But this wasn't enough to truly incapacitate her. She had to admit the girl was made of pretty tough stuff to not even wince at the pain.

With her sensory active she was able to keep tabs on everybody present in the battle improving her read on the many things that were happening at once. The boy Rin decided to unleash his potential giving Hana a feel of a similar chakra to that of Nozomi's. They were both not only appearing red, but felt red. At least until Nozomi activated her special mode.

Nozomi's assessment was correct. Hana's order did take some time to execute. This played very well in Hana's favor given how the events unfolded. Nozomi attempted her vertical jump, and assuming all went well for her, would succeed. Hana felt the environment become incredibly saturated in chakra and in an instant they were all locked in a barrier. Her sensory allowed her to identify the nature of the barrier. Not only did it give off a powerful chakra, but it was Fire in nature. This would give Nozomi an obstacle to deal with in the event she was able to deal with it at all. But more importantly what this meant for the gate guards is their target would reach the climax of her ascent and either be forced to negotiate with the barrier if not stopped entirely. The guards on the wall and below finished their hand signs and had their technique underway. They were generic, but not totally useless after all. The two Shinobi next to Hana decided to hold back their initial attack given Nozomi's sudden change of location.

The new environment gave their opponent little room to run letting their attacks have a greater chance of success. They'd unleash their air sphere as Nozomi dealt with Rin in attempt to strike her flank among the chaos, the combination of four spiraling wind spheres being sufficient to give anybody a hard time.

Hana didn't want to approach either in close quarters. Although it was her specialty the fact that Rin immolated himself to assault Nozomi with the magical black fire was enough reason, but fighting so close to the barrier was not exactly her cup of tea. So instead she prepared herself as the rebound. Slipping off both gloves she'd stash them in her hip pouch. From the palms of her hand a long, narrow, needle-like spike would protrude from both hands extending a meter and a half long. The Willow Dance was the most preferred technique to deal with faster opponent. And although she only prepared the partial bone growths she could still utilize the technique to its full potential. In any event she could sacrifice her armor and clothing for bones when needed, but that was her last resort. Hana would reposition herself as the two guards with her moved with her. They stood just a few meters behind Nozomi's current location, height not considered. Hana stayed vigilant of not only the fighters, but the Amaterasu flames which settled.

Fortunately for them, Amaterasu only devoured its target. The water quickly sizzled away as the immensely hot flames dealt with it. The water was Amaterasu's target. The fire shrunk as it dissipated, completing its goal by destroying its target. The flames would vanish as the last bit of water evaporated. It was in their favor that water was a lot more volatile and quicker to evaporate than a human body. Although Hana and her partners were a safe distance from the fire it was peace in her mind that they would be gone before somebody slipped.

As Nozomi was moving forward, she caught a glimpse of Rin getting ready to try and intercept her for some reason, but if he thought he would be able to catch her out, he had another thing coming. Nozomi, backed into a corner, had massive survival instincts kicking in, and she was willing to do almost anything to get out and get out of the unfavorable situation that she was currently in. Nozomi knew that this fight wasn't going to go her way very much with Rin actually joining in, Akihiro doing his stuff, and Hana doing her own thing, although that didn't particularly amount to much either. It was mostly the Uchiha who were causing her problems.

Still, there were some questionable plays on Rin's part, namely his outstretched tails catching on fire. He already knew that she could shed the flames herself, so why he would do that and risk himself was an utter unknown to the blonde Jinchuuriki. Especially given he didn't have the same level of control over his own Bijuu (she would assume, it had taken her a long time to get to her own level of control, after all) as she did, and that fire was extremely dangerous. It was certainly strong enough to overpower a Bijuu cloak in a very short amount of time, so the advantage of lighting himself on fire was almost next to zero.

As he had sent two tails to light on fire first, and Nozomi was in a similar cloaked mode, she had access to more or less the exact same abilities as he did, and he was partially tied up with his own tail's actions. He tried to grab her, but Nozomi's own tail had lashed forward on its own accord, expanding as it did so to swat the airborne Uchiha down to the ground, while the two arms at her side smashed down to push the tails down and further propel Nozomi into the air.

While the cloak responded on its own, Nozomi's own actions to escape were still more or less the same, although with Rin in such close proximity, she had to adjust her plan slightly, given he had tails on either side of her and the second she swapped to Chakra Mode, her own previous chakra arms had disappeared. The next course she'd had would be to gain some air on Rin before she leapt off to the side, which worked in her favor, since Akihiro's own immediate sequences had sent an instantaneous barrier to cut her horizontal escape off. So rather than dodging to the side, Nozomi's foot was placed more down than straight to the side, the petal platform letting her bounce more upwards than she would have before.

Having used her chakra tail to swat down Rin's jump, and with her arms having pinned the tails for a moment, even if Rin tried to overpower her tail with a counter force of his own, it would slow him down momentarily enough for her to have completed the maneuver and escape upwards. The issue being that now she was trapped inside a barrier with a bunch of enemies, even if she was currently in her Chakra Mode. Her chakra reserves wouldn't last forever, and the tight area wasn't ideal for fighting in, when she'd need to cut down her own speed quite a bit in such a cramped environment.

Continuing on her own vein of escape then, her only logical choice was to continue up, so she could buy herself some time to think. Given her massive speed, strength, and  some of her own jutsu, she could actually maintain an upwards velocity by double jumping easily enough, rocketing the girl upwards with a combination of literally jumping on the air and using a petal platform to bounce from if those failed, as well as a few petal propulsions to continue on upwards.

Due to her immense speed, and not having run into a barrier that she had to deal with, the guards would be unable to track her having to deal with it, and given the delay in command and their actions, Nozomi would have easily escaped from the tracking capabilities of the guards.

Nozomi formed a clone not too far upwards, perhaps 100 meters or so, that had formed a quick seal to do the Water Release: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave downwards, which, now that she was in an enclosed environment would be much more dangerous, as all that power would be coming straight down on them, funneled into the barrier. Nozomi's real body would do the same much higher up, to double up on the amount of water coming down on the entire group. She had given up on trying to activate her Water Heaven's Convergence, as it wasn't necessary at this point.

If the barrier came back down, whether released or popped by her water jutsu, Nozomi's escape would be more or less assured, and she'd leave without further issue after reaching the previous top of the barrier, to not get caught in a second one. If it didn't, she'd continue her upwards climb to escape out the peak of the barrier in what amounted to next to no time at all, and she'd still be fine, launching herself off to the side using another platform as she had originally intended, but this time much higher in the air, and she would travel as far away as she could, more or less gliding down and maintaining her speed with continuous shunts to the side, far longer than she needed to until she landed on the ground, perhaps kilometers from the area. Her remaining thoughts would be more or less the same, with her future targets now marked in her mind. She wasn't interested in fighting here any longer though.

Rin saw one of the tail arms coming for him. That certainly wasn't his doing nor was it Kurama's. Still it proved to be little nuisance as Rin flows Fuuton chakra along his feet and literally dashed to the side before leaping in higher velocity towards Nozomi once again. Effectively evading the tail and like a speeding bullet Rin will attempt to body slam Nozomi as she moved to flip her body. The sudden force will hopefully shatter whatever platform Nozomi was planning to use for her jump as he slams against Nozomi's body.

Whatever that form of hers was, it was something else. But at the very least Rin can effectively shove Nozomi being both are in mid air against the sudden barrier of fire. To which Rin will combine by slamming both flaming tails this time in a prince attack from above. On contact, Rin will shed his cloak by simply lowering the number of tails down to just one. Then he'll dig that one tail that was below to dig into the earth and pull him back down to get away from the wall.

Should she somehow prevail and make her escape. Rin will keep an eye on her even as she forms that clone. Seeing that clone is forming handseals, Rin also weaved his own handseals to channel condensed Fuuton chakra from his left hand. With a swipe of his left hand he creates a giant 50 meter length wind blade upward as the wave of water is coming down. When upon contact both jutsu would cancel each other out. If anything he just reduced the threat level of that to a minor nuisance. As for the second wave, by the time he sees the wave coming through the first Rin realized that he would be too late. So for this one Rin will brace himself as he digs his tail deep into the earth. Last he needs is to be thrown against that barrier.

There really wasn't much to be done at this point. One of two scenarios could happen: Either Rin managed to interrupt Nozomi's attempt to go up to the skies and somehow jump over the barrier, or Rin's attempt would be futile and the girl would be able to jump up once and over the barrier.

In the case of Rin's attempt being sucessful, there wasn't much for Akihiro to do but to see how their close quarter combat unfolded. He couldn't really risk shooting a technique towards the area because he'd be risking hurting Rin. And that, he simply could not afford. Both because Rin was a member of the village and an ally, but especially because he was a member of the Uchiha Clan. the boy had made some questionable decisions in the past, but Akihiro would be a poor leader if he hurt his own clansmen during a fight.

If Nozomi managed to go up, however, that would  be a different scenario. As soon as she escaped Rin's grasp and began to go up, Akihiro knew he would have to do something . As she went up and used, the young Uchiha boy jumped down towards the ground and activated the Hiding Like a Mole technique to go underground.

Due to both his sensing capabilities and Hiding Like a Mole's ability to sense whatever was on the surface, Akihiro knew exactly where Rin and Nozomi were. The purpose of hiding like a mole was, for now, to simply protect Akihiro from the damage of any incoming falling water. Akihiro reacted quickly and didn't count on Rin neutralizing the jutsu completely...but it was better to lay safe. As he did go underground and Nozomi reached the top of the barrier, Akihiro deactivated the Uchiha Flame Formation technique. There was no point in keeping it active after Nozomi managed to overcome it, really.

With her sensory active she had every tell she needed to come out of this battle alive. They were all at least Jounin level as high level technique were thrown around like the battle like nothing. And neither of them were bluffing when flexing their reserves as each of them still had powerful amounts of chakra left. Nozomi would flee upwards and prepare her technique. Hana immediately detected the high buildup of water chakra and given her aerial advantage suggested nothing good for either of them. She'd dash towards the gate itself and take shelter within the walls. Kirigakure had phenomenal defense and most of that credit went towards its perimeter walls which surrounded the entire village. She'd pass through the door, dissolving her palm bone spikes allowing her to twist the knob, along with the other Kirigakure ninja in the area. The large sum of water would cascade downwards and impact the walls as well as the surrounding area. The sound was audible as it boomed throughout their fortification and could likely be heard for kilometers out.

But the walls fulfilled their purpose as they suffered no clear external damage, though the integrity may have been compromised. In the end it was still standing and Hana along with her Kirigakure allies were safe. As for the Uchiha she would not know of their status until the water receded. There was the boy who started it all, Akihiro, and then Rin. She wondered if either of them intended to stick around and carry out their business, or if this entire attack would be in vain.

The Stuff:

Rin made an impressive attempt to be sure, but Nozomi held an advantage on speed, as well as having less going against her attempted fleeing. All she had to worry about was jumping in a solitary place, where she wasn't adding speed going towards something. Her chakra arms, completely uncontested, locked Rin's tails down in place as she'd attempted, and her tail, moving towards Rin at immense speed, and elongated as it was, in combination with Rin's own approaching speed, made her attack hard to dodge for almost anyone.

Still, he tried to do so, showing he could begin to react to something for sure, but Nozomi's tail would have just followed his motions, easily able to do so. Besides that, the chakra had been launched from behind her to her front which would mean that it was able to get in his way even should he have avoided it. However, dodging from such a short distance, when Nozomi's attack was on an interception course and he was incredibly fast himself would prove to be too difficult, slapping Rin down to the ground with its full force.

Rin's quick reaction with a Fuuton blade would take out some of the power of Nozomi's clone's Suiton jutsu, but that wouldn't be quite enough. While Fuuton was made of air, Suiton was made of water. Since it was a physically created thing, Suiton didn't just disappear and that entire volume of water was still present, although it was significantly depowered. Still, that was tons and tons of water, with another equally sized wave of water coming down to push it back down once again. The sheer weight and crushing power of the water would land on Rin and several guards. Rin was certainly able to tank a shot like that and be more or less fine, but the guards that had been outside trying to aim at Nozomi wouldn't be quite so lucky.

Akihiro would escape the jutsu completely, and Hana's timely retreat would have gotten her to safety as well. However, that did mean that all of them had been preoccupied either tanking the attack, or dodging it somehow that slowed them down immensely. Her escape was, from then on, completely unhindered. Nozomi's sheer speed was nearly impossible to keep up with at that point and she would only get further and further away, making following her pretty much impossible at that point.

While two hid, Rin took the brunt of the force. The first was the swipe from Nozomi's tail which wasn't much to him. Given the fact that he is in the air so despite his efforts, Nozomi was ultimately faster and stronger. The tail that was coming for him traced Rin's trajectory and smacked him down. The following process of Rin crashing into the ground leaving a large web of crack suggesting that great force was applied behind that swipe. Of course he felt the force of it, but with the cloak and his enhanced durability to abnormal levels it was more like a shove to him.

The next steps were the same as Rin recovers from the blow, and of course he drops the two flaming tails and resorts to the one tail. A shimmer of light from the barrier was all Rin had seen, but the timing of that was just when Rin threw his Heaven's Splitter. He could've ran, but really where would he go? How big was this wave? Rin didn't know, and in case he couldn't run away Rin braced himself and dug his tail into the ground for support. The crash of water drowned all sound as the torrent threatened to rip Rin from the ground. The pressure was great and it felt like it could crush him at any second. Yet strangely Rin prevailed as his body felt bruised and tired.

However, that wasn't the end of it. That strange fire of Akihiro's was still active, and seems to have spread on water like a veil closing down on the audience. The guards that were left outside were knocked out originally, but the flames coated the guards and begins dissolving their bodies to ash. The trees, rock, walls, gate, and everything seemingly as far as the eye could see is nothing but black fire. Screams could be heard in the distance away from the gates. More importantly, Rin himself was coated in fire. Fortunately the cloak was keeping it at bay for the time being, but before Rin could think his tail lashes out at high speed over the top of the wall as it expands. Pieces of the tail was dissolving from the Amaterasu, and thankfully the burn was slow. Yet Rin could still feel the intense heat that was making it incredibly uncomfortable. Of course Rin leaps up from the ground so when the tail pulls Rin will swing up in a high arc.

Once high enough roughly at the climax of Rin's ascent. Rin deactivates his cloak and said cloak dissipated. What Rin didn't realize until the last second is that a tiny piece of the Amaterasu ate through the cloak over his right arm and attached itself onto Rin's steel gauntlet. Thankfully the instant Rin realized this, Rin activates his gauntlets enchantment which protects him against fire chakra specifically. Yet it continued to burn, so Rin used his claw to slice the straps and let the arm guard fall into the spitting fire below. Even if the fire didn't make direct contact with his skin and his gauntlets offered some protection against Amaterasu. There was still a nasty burn apparent on his forearm.

Descending as he was over the wall, Rin realized his trajectory would land him in the center of a small patch of Amaterasu where the tail came into contact with. With some quick reflexes as the Kyuubi's power was evident still given the menacing aura around him and his eyes still identical to Kyuubi's. Rin focused the fuuton chakra to coat the bottom of his feet to treat air like it was solid ground. Just so he can quickly dash over to the side where Amaterasu is not present. A short burst, but enough to change direction. In terms of flight Rin seems to have the upper hand on that to some extent. If successful, Rin will land on his feet on top of the wall as he raised his right arm. The burn was pretty bad, yet for some reason Rin just can't feel it. Lightly touching it with his left hand, the burn was obviously warm, and it seems like he suffered third degree burn over the forearm and second degree burns around it. The second degree burns Rin could feel, but the top where the Amaterasu was directly over Rin can see the burn was deep. Yet he can't feel it.

'Do not say I didn't help you for this…' Kurama spoke from within Rin's mind as he felt a rush crawl up in his body. He watched in wonder as the burns gradually close and heal at an incredible rate. Until it was completely gone, not even leaving a scar tissue behind. Suddenly Rin could feel his forearm now, and come to find out that the burn had damaged some nerves and muscles to his right hand. Yet Kurama healed it better than any medical shinobi could is just a second.

"Wow, your chakra is really something else." Rin admitted to Kurama as Kurama's influence receded into the bijuu. Shifting his eye over at the sea of flame as far as the eye can see, how it coats the walls, gates, and the environment. Rin has a feeling that he's going to be waiting for a while now before he can actually move.

'so what now? Our time has long been up.' Kyuubi asked out of curiosity as he didn't really care what Rin did. Still the boy seems to… intrigue him. Reminds the bijuu of a certain Uchiha in the past, but he won't admit that any time soon. Rin didn't respond right away as he pondered on the thought.

"Guess our business here is done. My time is up and no point in gathering forces when tension is so high now." Rin mumbled physically, but to Kurama it was clear as day. Today ended up to be a failure in Rin's mind. He didn't secure aid from Kirigakure, and he doubts Akihiro will aid him at this point when ultimately this was Rin's mess he got thrown into. Now it will be time to finish it. Might not be much, but Rin lifts his shirt as he focused the chakra to his five fingers. Using the universal unsealing jutsu, Rin slaps it over a mark on his chest. The FTG mark specifically that Menza placed on him. At the very least, it'll slow Menza down or so Rin believes.

Kyoji had finally arrived on the scene after dealing with Menza. Everytime he met with the man it seemed fated that they would do battle. There was a great disturbance outside the gates of the Kirigakure.  It was time to quell whatever it was that was happening. Still fully armored from his past battles with Iron, Kyoji had made his way to the destroyed gates to oversee the situation. What he saw was a destructive mess. The battle threatened to spill past the gates, which Kyoji had to do something about. The guards had been defeated. Making a single seal and activating a a powerful jutsu to deal with the chaos before him.

It wasn't apparent what the Blue Emperor had done immediately. But the skies began to darken and a strange mist spread over the entire area. Rain began pouring from the dark clouds conjuring themselves. The rain had special properties, raining down on everyone and everything. The water and Amaterasu conjured and combined by the efforts of Nozomi and Akihiro, began to fizzle out and sizzle out of existence. The rain was eating all ambient chakra in the area, wiping away the incredibly dangerous techniques in the area.

Kyoji would maintain the jutsu in case the ninja had lingering problems. "Long story short." Kyoji asked Hana as he appeared beside her."

"What happen?" Kyoji was confused at the entire debacle. He peered in the distance for the other and she was probably long gone. They wouldn't be able to catch up with someone that fast. That was besides the point, now the two in front of them he needed to attend to.

Kyoji looked at the one who tried to sneak in, covered in a burns and looked visibly beaten up. However he looked to be healing. He spotted Akihiro and Rin recovering from the battle. "You two. Thank you for your aid. Dry yourself up, we need to talk."

Ungrateful. Greedy. Lazy. Lecherous. That is how the scientist had come to view Rin. Menza Sukiyama liked to think of himself as a fair man. An honest dealer. A kind-hearted businessman and an ethical doctor. He was of course none of those things but if Nee-san had taught him anything, it was that self-assuredness and exaggerated ego got you extremely far in life. That is, until you overestimated your intelligence and underestimated the intelligence of those under you. It was the Tsuchikage's biggest mistake and it was one that Menza had sworn never to make. Unfortunately, time and accomplishments had turned him into a more eccentric version of his former master. Menza had to admit this was true and by doing so, he knew that he would be able to avoid Nee-san's ultimate misstep. The Tetsudashi had not realized he had bitten off more than he could chew until it was too late whereas Menza was appropriately handling the situation before it went critical. Rin had not shown up to deliver his payment and Yui had escaped. Menza's clone had poofed and transmitted this knowledge to him. It was bad but salvageable. He could definitely do this and Menza knew he could because Menza knows everything.

Rin's attempt at using Five Elements Unseal would likely fail given that the jutsu did not operate the way he assumed. Even more importantly, the Flying Thunder God seal that Rin was trying to remove was extraordinarily complex. It was a true testament to Menza's off the charts IQ. Rin had no hope of removing the seal and unless he had a quantum computer mind at his disposal, he was better off trying to fly to Boros by flapping his arms. The seal would remain right where it was and in that very instant Menza would appear. The mad scientist teleported directly behind the jinchurikki. The man's mishappen eyes darted around him, taking in the environment in a single attosecond before springing into action. Menza had noticed the moment that the rain drops hit him that Kirisame was at work here. He had noticed water and black flame alike being dissolved in moments. A massive battle had just taken place and someone, Ah! The Mizukage I had just met with! had taken it upon themselves to clear the area of residual jutsu. He needed to work fast in order to take advantage of the element of surprise. `

Menza pumped a large amount of natural energy into his arm and hand. There would be no egregious outward signs of mutation due to Kirisame. Instead a modest number of grey and black veins would erupt from his arms as it was flooded with a newfound strength. He grabbed Rin by the back of his neck and slammed the boy's head into his knee multiple times. His knee would also be augmented with natural energy and the relevant bones jutting upwards at an odd angle to ensure maximum daka. The hope was to crack his forehead and face open. This would render him unconscious in the blink of an eye. If the manuever was successful, Rin would be jacked up. Akihiro's gumshoe would be bleeding profusely, suffering from orbital blowout in both of his eyes, and afflicted with a smashed nose. He'd recover in time either by his Bijuu's healing or by Menza's medical Ninjutsu. In either case his desire to renege on his promises would hopefully be lessened.

"A man's word is his bond" he'd whisper to Rin as he carried out his assault. Once this was rapid-fire five piece KFC meal of pain was delivered he'd grab Rin by his neck, wink at Kyoji, and teleport away.

Menza was extremely pissed and the only reason he hadn't gone savage on everyone present was because his brain was far too advanced to succumb to the Nature Clan's curse of insanity. He wasn't operating at 100% mental acuity but he was close enough to keep his tactical wits in-tact (so clever). Maybe Rin's explanation as to why he had failed to bring him an Ōtsutsuki would calm Menza down. And if not, then perhaps his story on what the hell happened at the gates of Kirigakure could at least amuse him and put him in a better mood.

Well that didn't exactly work out like Rin intended it to be. Still there was light and there was shadow cast. As far as Rin knew it was just him, until another shadow suddenly appeared behind him. Rin felt anger building up that was a mixture of himself and Kurama's. The bijuu chakra, albeit smaller than he did with the tails, fueled his presence. Just as Menza's nature chakra was flowing through his body, so was Kurama's power swelling within Rin.

Swift and highly reactive towards danger Rin immediately pivot his body around to behind Menza. A sharp elbow raised to smack away Menza's hand as Rin simultaneously grabs ahold of the arm with his elongated claws digging deep into flesh. Rin's leg reached the space between Menza's leg before sharply swipes at Menza's ankle to off-balance the scientist. Given that he was going to knee Rin, the boy would target the only leg standing if that was still the case. Simultaneously Rin slams his whole body with the elbow placed behind the square of Menza's back. It didn't matter how strong one was, being off balanced is a worse position to be. Both Menza's energy and Rin's force combine into one mighty blow as Rin will try to slam Menza into the wall they were standing on. Creating multiple cracks and dust to erupt as Rin dragged his claws from man's bicep up to the wrist where Rin will twist it not caring if he dislocates it as he pulls it tight behind Menza.

Additionally, to make matters worse, Rin sinks his claws into Menza's back as he also follows up with a devastating bite on Menza's neck. His canines threaten to tear into the man's flesh and rip out the jugular vein. His eyes wild with rage and a deep growl that's more disembodied is coming from him. Forcing his whole weight into Menza's body, his claws digging deep into Menza's back, and if the bite was successful. Either Menza will die from his injuries, or Rin continues to use his weight and strength to crush Menza's ribcage and cause the man to suffocate.

As the situation resided Hana would open the door to the wall allowing her to catch a glimpse of the outside. The scene was covered in black flame, the same technique Akihiro used to attempt on Nozomi's life. It had backfired significantly as it caked the majority of the front entrance. Fury boiled up inside Hana as she was immediately placed the blame on Akihiro and Rin for using such a destructive technique so carelessly in the village. But before he rage could escalate to action the area began to be showered. The rain that fell fizzled out the black flames which alerted Hana of the caster's presence. Only one ninja in Kirigakure was capable of casting Kirisame, and that was Kyoji. Her heart was at rest knowing his business was wrapped up.

When she stepped out from the wall and onto the streets now safe Kyoji would appear next to her. He asked for a quick report, which Hana was more than happy to oblige. But that would soon have to wait. The sudden appearance of this Menza character caused Rin to start brawling. And that point, Hana was done. She was overdue for a cheeseburger it was almost a crime. She'd turn her head to Kyoji and state bluntly. "I have some business to take care of. If this lasts too long, don't hesitate to force them to take it elsewhere." With that, Hana would nonchalantly turn the other direction and make her way to the Mizukage complex where a heap of work waited for her.

[Enter Kirigakure]

After activating the Kirisame technique, Kyoji had expected things to simmer down. Nozomi had escape the Konoha ninjas attack so he'd assume the fight had been over. But in a flash, there was a disturbance. For some reason, Menza appeared behind one of the nin. It was immediate and sudden, the two began to brawl. Overseeing this fight was nothing short of random. Why had Menza attacked this one out of nowhere. He thought he was there to make his bijuu deal with the Kiri forces, not attack one of their allies. But Menza was an ally of sorts as well, he would have to adjust to see what would happen. Watching and maintaining Kirisame. They couldn't afford further damage to their property.

Kirisame was interfering with the manifestation of Rin's cloak but Menza could still see it in the boy's eyes when he turned around. He was in the grips of the 9 Tail Fox. This would make Menza's life more difficult in some respects. Rin had tried to pivot around behind him but because his attempt to knee Rin would only occur after he had grabbed the boy's neck, he still had both feet firmly planted on the ground. Menza kicked out before Rin could pivot behind him, aiming a powerful sweep kick to the boy's leg. The intention was to break it and keep him from going around his back. While this occurred, he noted Rin's attempt to grab him. Menza reacted with lightning fast reflexes. He used his other arm to palm Rin's wrist and forearm before the grab could be completed, the force with which he struck would probably shatter the boy's arm and wrist bones rendering him incapable of grabbing anything. As he did this he prepped the Yin Healing Wound Destruction Technique so as to defend himself against any attacks via preemptive healing.

Nature Clan Full Transformation (2nd Post)

So it was that Menza moved to interrupt Rin's movement. Due to the interruption, Rin's action changed as his eyes were still focused on Menza. In his quick reaction, Rin doesn't try to avoid it. Instead his body braced for the impact as his eye caught the palm strike that seems to be aiming at his wrist. Given how they are positioned, Menza was basically over extending himself to reach over for Rin. Kurama had a wolfish grin on his face as Rin's body was still empowered with the bijuu's chakra.

Switching up the styles to immediately activate several techniques following up, Rin countered both the leg strike and palm strike with a simple motion. Rin twisted his core for while shifting his knee to intercept Menza's leg strike, and Rin simultaneously curled the grabbing hand into a fist as he hurls the fist towards Menza's palm using the same lightning reflexes. Given the minor difference in strength normally Menza would overpower Rin. Yet strangely no bones break or fracture on the boy's body. Granted he felt the body strain from the physical trauma, but nothing life threatening. To Menza however being met with not only strength near equivalent to his own, but also the monster strength Menza himself controls. More than likely he will break his own leg and wrist. Simply because Menza's body can't withstand the backlash of his own strength let alone Rin's own monstrous strength. At the very least Menza will suffer from bone fractures from his own attack.

If Menza appears to flinch from the pain he caused to himself. Rin will follow up with his lightning fast strikes by attempting to slam another mighty fist of the other hand against Menza's exposed ribs on the side. Aiming to break the man's ribs which will consequently puncture his lung. Rin also twisted his core with this fist to get as much force behind it as possible. It'll be like his fists are literally trying to crush everything in Menza's body at this point. Should this connect, Rin will immediately follow up with a swift uppercut under Menza's chin to not only break some teeth and jaw. But to also take advantage of Rin's strength to send Menza in the air.

If successful on this combo, Rin will follow up again with his palm strikes using the sharp nails to brutally slam against Menza's stomach, rib cage, and ends with a final punch into Menza's solar plexus which will hopefully shatter and shred the man's organs. Then again, Rin hopes that is the case with every bone that Rin dishes out. The nails will pierce and shred with every palm strike of Rin's. However many strikes Rin can deal, assuming that Menza's floating body is moving from the force then Rin will utilize his own speed to follow Menza preventing the man from landing on the ground. For if Menza lowers on the ground, Rin will throw another fist in an uppercut to send Menza higher off the ground. Then repeat into a relentless assault as Rin refuses to give Menza so much as to breathe. The final punch into Menza's solar plexus is only after he visibly looks defeated or possibly dying.

In which case, should it boils down to this. Rin's fist will not only seek to crush the man's solar plexus, but it will also throw Menza off the wall to descend rapidly in high velocity at the ground. The outside of the village of course.

Rin's Stuff:

Menza's misshapen eyes widened as he realized Rin was moving full force into his attack. Fortunately, he had the Yin Healing Wound prepared, but even with this advantage he had not expected such a drastic attempt to lean into his attack. A spate of quick calculations followed before contact was made and the moment it did occur. Rin would be gone. Indeed, the impact would have been more than enough to totally shatter Menza's bones but the scientist had preemptively begun the healing process allowing him to soak in the damage without lasting harm. Unfortunately, he had not the constitution to endure such a contact without collapsing in pain. This wouldn't have killed him but it would leave him vulnerable. That left one option: teleportation. The second Rin's fist and knee made contact with Menza's, he'd be blinked away to another land via Flying Thunder God. The Fuuinjutsu allowed Menza to teleport people without teleporting himself so long as he made physical contact with them and that requirement was more than met. The end result of their rapid clash would be the jinchurikki's removal to Menzagakure.

Menza collapsed on his knees in anguish as the impact rattled his nerves. The pain radiated throughout his body causing him to convulse in the rain. He had not been expecting Rin to be so strong. The boy had been a hapless fool compared to him. Merely month ago he had been called in to save him from Kurama and now he was proving to be a troublesome foe. Menza continued seizing as his mind absorbed the full weight of the damage. His body was perfectly fine but his nerves were not. He transferred all his of natural energy into his constitution allowing him to recover far faster than normal. Menza took a few deep breaths and handsprung to his feet. He was ready for round two.

The mad scientist spat. The loogie he launched from his lips contained residual blood from initial impact.

"Unseemly" he muttered before turning his attention to Kyoji.

The rain had soaked his fine silky black hair and now it clung to his body. He called out to the Mizukage.

"You! Put that stupid technique away and come with me. If you help me subdue this troglodyte, I will bestow upon you a special gift."

Menza held his hand out for Kyoji to take. If the Blue Emperor grabbed it, they'd teleport together to go after Rin. If he didn't, Menza would sneer at his false ally, make a few handseals, and teleport away to finish the job himself.

Rin continues with his counter, surprising the Cursed One by not avoiding and instead going against Menza. Both the knee strike and punch proved to successful, although before Rin could pursue his assault Rin was whisked away to somewhere. Somewhere that Rin has no clue on where it is, what it is, or who is in here. Only time will tell…
