After the first two rather exhausting missions that Hyde had been assigned, he was quite worn out since he was more of the intellectual type than the physical exertion type. So, he spent the next full day recuperating at his family home in the Hyūga clan district and then was able to indulge in his primary love, namely his mad science research to some extent, albeit not to the exact level that he would have liked since he had to take it easy to avoid a total system collapse. Alas, he came to see this time being cut short even more with the arrival of the summons for the next two missions on the list he had been given a few days ago.

"Master Hyde...it is time to get up again, for you have a couple more mission scrolls to peruse and attend to with your mission partner, Ms. Rebecca..."

Hyde heard the maid from his support staff say as she roused him from his slumber and then, he took the scrolls for the next two missions that she handed him. So, he thanked her for being so prompt with doing her assigned duty

"Thank you, Tsurara...As always, you demonstrate excellent work ethic and timeliness too...Now that I am awake, could you make me a spot of tea and bring me some scones to go with it? I feel it will be necessary to make myself fully alert for the day ahead..."

In response, he watched as his maid, "Tsurara", bowed in acknowledgment of his instructions and started to make the tea and scones for him on the spot. While he watched her do her work, he perused the mission scrolls she gave him quickly as was his norm. Then, he memorized their contents and returned both to her so she could take them to the associated storage space in his room for safekeeping and bookkeeping purposes. Once that was done, he went about his morning quickly, finishing his various morning rituals and then readying himself by donning his usual physician-scientist outfit and taking his wallet. With that done, he informed the maid who had come to serve him that morning about his intended whereabouts and headed out to meet Rebecca so that they could get this mission underway.

Hyde arrived at Mrs. Shizuka's residence and found Rebecca present there and deep in a lively conversation with her. Upon arrival, he noticed his mission partner received the shopping list from their mutual client while indicating that it was not too long of a list.

"That is excellent news, indeed. If the Norns are willing, perhaps we may even finish this mission with enough time to spare for completing our next mission today too."

Hyde said to Rebecca with a nod as he took his place beside her while she took her leave of Mrs. Shizuka after assuring her that they could handle the mission without assistance. So, he followed suit in reassuring Mrs. Shizuka of the same from his end too so the old lady rested easy while she waited for their return with her shopping list items.

"That is quite true, Mrs. Shizuka. We should be able to locate and acquire all the items you have requested in your list with relative ease, so please feel free to relax while you await our return."

With that done, Hyde turned to Rebecca and with his usual convincing facade of a cordial smile, he suggested they head off to complete this mission.

"Well then, shall we be off, Ms. Rebecca? If we leave now, we can arrive early and avoid the usual tsunami of frenetic customers that will surely inundate the store."

After waiting for Rebecca to take her leave of Mrs. Shizuka, Hyde fell into step beside her as they headed over to the market district in the village. While entering that area, he listened as Rebecca explained her plan for the shopping spree they were asked to do for Mrs. Shizuka and nodded to show acknowledgment of her plan of splitting up the workload. He also pocketed the part of the shopping list that Rebecca had torn off from the original list to give him to take charge of during this collaborative shopping spree.

"Indeed, that will allow us to move more freely through these large crowds of shoppers while acquiring the items on this list, so I am all for it. See you at Mrs. Shizuka's then, Ms. Rebecca."

Saying thus, Hyde stashed away his share of the shopping money that Rebecca had given to him from the common pool of said finances that she had received from Mrs. Shizuka and then went off to do the shopping in the opposite direction to the one Rebecca was going toward to finish her portion of the shopping list. As he perused the list, he memorized the names of all the items on it and noticed that his half of the shopping list included all the heavier items. However, he was not too worried about that since he was confident enough in his physical strength despite being a nerd.

Hmm...so the first set of items are located in the house cleaning supplies store on the left side of this street...the second set will be found in that gardening supplies store present on the right side of the street...and the third set should be stocked at the cooking supplies store that is located on that part in the middle that connects the left and right sides...Very well, it is time to get this underway...My first step should be to get the first set of items followed by the third and then ending with the second...

Once Hyde was done planning his moves, he headed to the house cleaning supplies store on the left side of the street to get the first set of items. Upon arrival, he quickly located and acquired a set of mops, buckets, and cleaning solution bottles. Then, he went to the cashier and paid the man before leaving to make his way to the third store that sold the third set of items he had been tasked with obtaining according to his list. After getting there, he went about this third store, collecting a set of trowels, hoes, and rakes along with a set of soil bags after determining the whereabouts of each one per the plan he had drawn up before heading there. Finally, he paid the cashier the money for the gardening supplies and headed to the second store, specifically, the one selling cooking supplies.

Egads...it will be quite cumbersome to haul all these back to Mrs. Shizuka's house, but a mission is a mission, so no getting around this issue, I suppose...

Hyde mused silently as he found himself exerting more physical effort than expected, but despite his mental griping, he carried onward with his work. After arriving at the cooking supplies store, he found where the mini gas cylinders and cooking utensils were kept and collected some of each before moving toward the cashier to pay for them. Once that was done, he organized all the items he had purchased with the money he had been given for the shopping so that it would be easier to carry without injuring himself. Then, he returned to Mrs. Shizuka's residence, reaching there a few minutes after Rebecca arrived with her share of the shopping list items.

"With that, your shopping spree mission is complete, Mrs. Shizuka...These items should keep you going for quite a while, if my estimation is correct, that is. Since my colleague and I have more missions to complete, we must take our leave of you for now."

Saying thus, Hyde bid farewell to Mrs. Shizuka with a smile, and then, he headed off toward the entrance to her residence and waited for Rebecca to join him so that they could collect the proof of mission completion from the kind old lady.
