Natsuki bore down, holding Innocence in place as the dragon began to come in from behind, but it was for naught. As the spikes of earth began to fill the scene, he had no choice but to retreat.

His eyes went wide as he jumped back, weaving a few seals of his own and slamming his palms down to the ground as he landed. None of the spikes seemed to hit him, but he had no way of knowing that was by design. Still, he needed to get off the ground until this technique was over. At his feet, a thick slab of earth would begin to rise up itself, giving him both distance from these spikes and getting out of Innocence's sight.

Meanwhile, having also lost sight of her himsellf, the stone dragon merely flailed about the changed landscape, as unaware of where she was as Natsuki was. That is, until he felt out for her chakra. It was this attempt to find her that gave the game away a bit. Genjutsu?! Ugh... With the tiger seal, he undid the technique, though not without great effort.

Either through undoing the genjutsu or via his sensory, he now knew where she was. The Earth and Stone dragon roared and stopped its flailing, immediately facing the girl with its head. It began to rush her once more. Except...

A fluffy white rabbit had come bounding out from the opposite end of the risen earth, but he didn't see it then. No, he saw it when it happened to jump up and nibble at his favorite orange haori, somehow slipping it off of him and running off into the forest. "Wha-? Again?!" He immediately turned and ran after it, his Earth and Stone dragon following suit. He'd still be in the area, just not in this topic.

Innocence knew that the Genjutsu she used wouldn't last for long. It was designed to be a momentary distraction which would give her enough time to prepare counter measures against that pesky stone dragon of his. Innocence had discovered her affinity for Earth Release not long after her graduation but she had been pitiful at it. It had taken her four long years to achieve a level of decent competency with respect to the element. She had suffered many months of practicing to use Earth Release in combat scenarios. She had never given up on herself though and over time she was able to use Earth Release with a fair degree of competency and accuracy. She flickered through several seals and erected a wall of solid Earth wall just as the stone dragon hurtled towards her. The wall did not hold against the mighty dragon but its sacrifice was not in vain. The construct met its end before it could follow Natsuki into the forest. The two were obliterated in an explosion of dust, stone and dirt. Innocence shielded her eyes from the debris but through the slits in her fingers she could see Natsuki run off chasing a white rabbit.

"Where do you think you're going?!" she yelled as she chased after him.
