Kaori danced around the battlefield, always seeming to be one step ahead of Mae’s attacks. When Mae went for a low kick, Kaori went high, when Mae tried attacking to one side, Kaori would dodge to the other. It was quickly becoming apparent that it would be impossible to land a blow outside of a lucky shot on the girl. A tinge of frustration crept its way into the cheerful pink-haired girl’s mood, but it was overshadowed by the amount of fun she was having. Her opponent continued to land hits, and even though Mae did her best to dodge as she was prompted, she wasn’t quick enough to get out of the way in time. None of the attacks left any lasting damage, but Mae found herself being blasted backwards quite a few times throughout the fight. After a few minutes of brawling, Mae’s stomach would growl and she would put her hands up for a pause. “I think this is a good time to take a food break. I don’t think I’ve eaten all day.” she would comment sheepishly. Mae wiped the sweat from her hands on her pants and would go in for a friendly handshake with her new friend. “It was nice meeting you Kaori. We should get together again sometime soon!” Mae smiled. After shaking hands, she would wave goodbye and leave to go find some grub, happy with the day.
