Description: By using shuriken with wire strings attached to them, the user can set a trap for their target. Using the shuriken to spread and set the wires around, they can position them as to bind their target, requiring only to trigger a change of position of the set wires, such as cutting one of them, causing the others to rearrange. The user can create a field as large as ten meters in diameter to trap the opponent. The shuriken do not lose momentum when using this technique.
The target suffers a -1 tier in Perception when under the influence of this technique. The user gains +1 advantage in Coordination when controlling the Shuriken. When triggering the wire trap, the wire encloses on the target at a speed of their Strength and Coordination (refer to projectile information) +1 tier in Speed.
Weaknesses: N/A
Ningyo used her Tomoe 1 Sharingan, throwing a series of kunai and shuriken in what seemed to be an erratic pattern. The Sharingan was necessary to track the location of all the wires and where they would end up once triggered. As Ningyo continued to throw the projectile weapons anchored into various surrounding objects, she wove what could be somewhat accurately described as a complex invisible spiderweb of metal wire.
Due to the complexity and sophistication of the technique Ningyo had messed it up with previous attempts, her attempt at triggering the trap had previously resulted in a disorganized mass of wires clumping together upon her. As she orchestrated the finishing touches she felt that this time she would get it right.
After all the pieces were in place she would cut the final wire with the sharp end of a kunai held in reverse grip. The one loosened wire orchestrated a domino effect that rearranged the positions of all the other wires, collapsing inward upon a centrifugal point. In a real-life combat situation, anybody caught within the central 'eye' of the trap would be completely bound in wire and rendered immobile.
Even though Ningyo had achieved a successful attempt at shuriken wire binding with a stationary target, she knew that coming anywhere close to being able to successful land a move like this in battle would take alot of work and practice. Still, despite the inherent difficulties, she looked forward to the opportunity to hone her skills against moving prey.
