Who let the dog out [Mission | Solo]

Mission Details:

Yumi hummed a sweet tune as he waltzed through the misty streets of Kirigakure no Sato. Inhaling deeply Yumi breathed in the fresh morning air. The boy disguised as a girl made his way through the streets calmly, his destination the Kirigakure Marketplace. His goal for the day was to complete a mission that had been undertaken, a mission to find and capture the dog belonging to one Ms Muramasa. The dog's name was spot and could be recognised by the Distinct brown fur of its coat with a large white spot on the right side of his ribcage. The mission was only D rank but it would pay a somewhat decent amount. The last ryo Yumi had earned had been spent on Shinobi equipment, now he was planning to save up to fund his research.

The medic and illusion user hummed to himself as he came to a sudden halt at the edge of the Kirigakure market. Diamond-like crimson hues cast their gaze onto the market stalls and streets, watching with a keen eye. Yumi may not have been one of the physically strongest or fastest Genin around, maybe not even one of the most durable, but what he lacked in physical ability he made up with his mental capacity. In terms of fighting in a battle of the mind and illusions, Yumi felt he could not lose in this area. He would use that in his plan to capture this dog.

This wasn't the first time spot had run away from his owner, oh no he did it on numerous occasions. Spot liked to run around playing games, making those who attempt to catch him exhaust themselves. Yumi planned to trap the little beast in an illusion to halt his movements and block of any chances of escape. As long as he could do that his chances of succeeding and not having to waste time running around to catch Spot. Yumi was already beginning to plot out the plan in his head, he would use the Rippling Spring to confuse the dog making him think Yumi was appearing all around him then attack with the Embracing Chains illusion to trap the dog in place so he couldn't run away.

Yumi entered the marketplace and began his search. His tiny stature made it hard to move amongst the crowds, but it also helped to hide his form. He was able to blend in with ease going unnoticed. Moving amongst the crowded streets the Genin kept an eye out for any signs of movements along the grounds while searching for this dog named spot. Yumi relied on the use of his eyes and ears, keeping an ear out for anything that sounded out of place. Secretly the Genin hoped he could catch the sound of a dog barking and would be able to follow it in hopes of finding Spot.

The first hour showed no sign of the dog. The first sighted turned out to be a dog similar looking to spot in fur colour but didn't have the white markings on the right side of his ribcage. The second time Yumi had followed the sound of barking only to come across an owner struggling to pull his great dame away from a stray cat. The third sighting was just a bunch of kids pretending to run around and make dog noises. Yumi didn't lose hope, he expected it to take some time in tracking and location this dog.

By the end of the second hour the marketplace was beginning to thin out and by an open butcher, Yumi spotted the sight of a medium-sized brown dog running out the door with a line of sausages in his mouth and the butcher shouting many profanities after it. Yumi snorted in amusement and followed after the dog, keeping a distance as he watched it go into an alleyway.

Standing at the entrance of the alley, Yumi looked on finding the dog in the middle lying down and chewing on its stolen gains. The genin helped by a chuckle of mild amusement and quietly began to approach. As he did the dog's ears perked up and he looked up. On the dog's right side over the ribcage was a large white mark. Yumi had found his prey. The dog began growling while placing a paw over his stolen gains. Yumi could care less about the dog's food.

Yumi began swaying his hips from side to side, followed by his body moving like a snake or a belly dancer. The dog watched on in fascination but by then the illusion had begun. Yumi took a step to the right and immediately overlapping images of the 'lolita' spread out circling around the dog. The images were moving constantly. Spot perked up and began looking around at the images. As he began to sniff to pick out the real out Yumi was already acting.

Yumi stood in of the dog catching his eye, in doing so Yumi threw his arms out to the side. Chains shot out from beneath the sleeves of his yukata five from each arm, ten in total. The dog made a sound as the chains coiled around his body. The illusion held the dog in place as he struggled. The Genin approached and picked Spot up holding him securely in his arms. Once he had the dog Yumi made his way to Ms. Muramasa's and handed the dog over. He would be paid later once Ms. Muramasa sent confirmation of the missions completion. With the job appearing to be done Yumi walked off heading home.
