Self Reflection (W/Okane)

Mamoru waited in the tea shop for Okane to meet her. She shifted in her seat uncomfortable with the fact that she was not by his side. The village might have been prospering but crime could happen to anyone at anytime. The waitress walked up to her offering a sincere smile trying to ease the nerves of the shark woman seated alone. Mamoru waved her off not wanting to order and seem rude without her master.

She had arrived early not imagining that the wait would have affected her to this degree. However it was Okane's decree that she wait for him here instead of accompanying him there. She chewed on her lower lip pulling out her notebook. She wrote *personal* so when she closed it the message would stay and not send to someone else's eyes.

Okane has seemed more daring since the training session with Ryuko. The change has... She stopped writing hearing the door open. Her gaze snapped up looking to see if he had walked in.

Okane was still waiting for word back from Kiyoshi and his travels. His tower in Kiri and Konoha were at the forefront of his name. The world knew the name and yet he felt he wasn't represented well enough. Kirigakure had seemed excited about his proposition for an educational tower and had supported the project with promise of funds. Not that his checkbook was left wanting. His emerald eyes saw the world for the profit it offered. His fathers small company was long since dwarfed by his own. However Suna had suffered since he left it. Not that he himself would have been capable of preventing what had happened....but he had put a considerable bounty on Chen. The man would have what was coming to him. He had spilled so much blood on the sands of his home. He wanted to rebuild it but Iwagakure was a no show at the auction. Still he had the support of two major villages that remained. He would bide his time and train to defend himself and his property. He even had a scout going about buying up the surroundings available lands. A great deal of construction going into improving the lives around him.

Still for today out of his schedule with his CFO traveling for him he had a few meetings in the evening with board members and his legal team. However for the time being he would dress for the cold that had settled over the land. He was wearing thick lined pants tucked over dress boots with fur lining both black in color with a white turtleneck and a cream colored overcoat. The coat was open with brass buttons with the stag symbol carved into them. A pair of thick black gloves on his hands. His hair was tied up in a pony tail while his forked beard was freshly trimmed. Make up covered his scars rather well as he entered the street. The ground was soaked from a recent rain but it was a clear sky for the day giving the view like the city was touching the sky. He would nod to people who passed him without much opportunity for conversation. A polite indication of acknowledgment but people were less enthralled since he had been living here for months. He was both relieved and perturbed by the thought. Still he would turn into a tea shop and open the door himself.

Okane would step inside with a smile on his face. His eyes shifted over the room once before spotting Mamoru. He would smile softly as he walked over. Pulling off his gloves and tossing them absentmindedly to the inside of the booth before shedding his coat and tossing that onto the seat next to his own across from Mamoru. He would settle and smile to himself before a couple glasses of Water would be set on the table for them. He would smile and wait for the waiter to leave before speaking to his guard.

"Hello Mamoru. I hope the morning finds you well. We have little time and much to discuss."
