Crafting for another

Kiyoshi would enter his workshop with a new purpose, a new task that needed to be performed. A task that was unlike any of the others that he had done before, it would be a test of his skill should he accomplish it. The instructions of the blueprint were clear, so long as he followed the plan the item should not be an issue. With any luck this strange gourd would earn him some money, which he could then use to continue crafting even more items for people. Sitting down at his workshop Kiyoshi would grab the materials and begin crafting the strange gourd that Anzo had requested of him.

Using UA to Craft B-Rank Item in C-Rank time of 1 day

Crafting:

Anzo had awoken somewhat excitedly that morning, although it would be hard to tell just looking at his face. As is typical for the Aburame, Anzo's facial expression rarely changes much, and so one would have to know him quite well to be able to determine his emotional state. Despite the soreness of his training "spar" with Kiyoshi, the craftsman's agreement to construct his gourd had kept him in high spirits regardless. After pulling on his red leather jacket that ran from his ankles up to the bridge of his nose, pulls on his boots and his yellow sunglasses as well.

He exits the apartment of his own in the Aburame compound before rapidly walking to Kiyoshi's own home, feeling quite ready to see if the gourd was nearly complete. It was a shame that Nikola himself had not left his own terrarium for others to make use of, but perhaps having one of his own was better, despite the somewhat hefty price tag. It was good that he'd been doing some missions beforehand, since he had enough money to pay for the terrarium without becoming totally destitute in the process.

It took some searching, but with his bugs and the vibration-sensitive earthworms, he was eventually able to locate Kiyoshi's workshop and apartment; the hammering and other various noises of work had sent earthworms scattering away from his home. Anzo stops at the apartment and buzzes for him, hoping he's not interrupting the puppeteer.

Kiyoshi would be putting the final touches on the gourd when he hears a buzzing sound, looking towards the door with a slight frown. This wasn't the first time he had heard this sound; it was the second. It meant he had a visitor which was, needless to say, a rare occurrence. The first time he had a visitor was his sensei however, so his frown softened slightly. Kiyoshi would look to his puppet armor that sat in the corner of the room; he didn't use it when he was crafting. He didn't need to, his arms were fine it was his legs that were the problem, using his chakra strings to manipulate it over to him and open so that he could climb into it. Once finally situated he would move over to the door to see who it was, he would curse himself the entire way to the door for not having the camera fixed so he would know who was on the other side of the door. Opening the door to see Anzo, Kiyoshi would smile quizzically as he wondered if the man had some kind of super sense to find his apartment considering he had not sent the man word that he had finished his item. "Well now this is a surprise," Kiyoshi stated as he opened the door wider to allow the man to enter. "Not to mention, perfect timing. I was about to send a message to your clan district that your item was ready, just finished it." Kiyoshi would add as he motioned with his left hand towards his workbench, the gourd setting atop it. "As to the specifications of the blueprints, it should work. Of course, I have no way of test such."

Kiyoshi would shut the door to the apartment once the man had entered, making his way back over to the workbench, allowing Anzo to inspect the craft for himself. Providing that the man had the ryo to pay him that they had agreed upon the item was his after all.

Craft - Aburame Kikaichu Gourd - Completed

Anzo barely even blinks when Kiyoshi opens the door to let him into the apartment; he can see the look of confusion on his face as he seems at least a little surprised to see the Aburame clan member, even though he'd told Anzo himself that the terrarium should be complete in about a day. As much as Anzo might have wanted to make Kiyoshi feel a little uncomfortable by letting him know exactly how he'd found the other ninja's apartment, as payment for the discomfort that Anzo felt from being hit with what had felt like a wrecking ball, even with the Kikaichu he'd used to protect himself, he decides that it would be quite unprofessional for him indeed if he were to cause some grief for someone who had accepted the job of making the Kikaichu gourd for him. In fact, Kiyoshi allows him something of a verbal opening to let him perhaps assuage his discomfort with the Aburame being able to find him.

"Well, finding people is a specialty of the Aburame clan. It is unlikely anybody else could use the same method I've used to find your workshop."

At least, he hoped it would be somewhat placating for Kiyoshi to know that he was able to find the apartment through a method singular to his clan. Anzo deftly steps into the room, having to duck a bit to get through the door, but only a little; Anzo was abnormally tall among most other people, but he'd become accustomed to ducking in some places. He follows Kiyoshi into the simultaneous workshop and apartment of the crafter, and he looks over the gourd once Kiyoshi gestures to it, lifting it quite easily since it's currently empty and simply made of wood. Though his facial expression is obscured, the flash of his sunglasses seems to suggest that he's quite happy with the product. He barely lifts it up to check over it for cracks in the wood before he slips an envelope containing the agreed upon 50,000 ryo, especially as Anzo finds no defect in the wood.

"Mm. It's well made. I can give it a quick test..."

Turning his back to Kiyoshi, as he feels slightly self-conscious about doing this in front of someone else, he slips the opening of the terrarium into his sleeve while placing his hand on the wood of the gourd, flowing his chakra into the wood until it's saturated with his chakra signature, before the insects begin moving into the gourd, first with only a hundred. After a few moments with no complaints, Anzo slips more and more Kikaichu inside until he's fed it 500 of his total Kikaichu, and he can feel that this is the limit, as expected from the blueprint.

"Indeed. However, I require the blueprint returned to the Aburame clan..."

This was a rather more delicate part of the process; because the blueprint could potentially be used to learn too much about the Aburame clan, Anzo also had to return the terrarium blueprint to the clan as well. He hoped Kiyoshi would understand the need for secrecy without Anzo needing to spell it out, and he extended a hand towards Kiyoshi, palm up in an expression of polite request.

Kiyoshi would nod at Anzo's explanation as to how he found his apartment, he didn't really mind that he was there, it was more just simple surprise that he was able to find it. Of course, he shouldn't be that surprised considering the man's clan, Kiyoshi should have guessed a clan that specialized in tracking and finding people would have ways to do so. Kiyoshi would watch as the man inspected it and sat the envelope on the table, sitting down at the workbench as the man turned away from him to give it a test. Kiyoshi was not surprised at all with the fact that he needed the blueprint back and would roll it up and hand it over to him without any hassle, it wasn't like he needed it anyways, what good was a bottle to hold bugs to him after all. Of course, with his eidetic memory, it wasn't like he needed the blueprint even if he did want to make another one. Which of course he would only do for the Aburame as they would be the only ones that could use such a device. "I hope everything is to your satisfaction." Kiyoshi would say after Anzo took the blueprints back, "please keep me in mind if you wish for other items I have a vast array of weapons, armor, as well as specialty items such as that gourd." Kiyoshi would hold out his hand in offer of a handshake for the other man to take, or not. "Oh, and please feel free to send your clansmen my way if they also wish for a gourd or other tools."

Kiyoshi would then grab a unit of clay and sit returning to his crafting, making a sculpted figurine of Anzo, it was a process he did. He made them for his puppets, and for the people he met. It was as if he was preserving the memory, his figurines of his team as well as a few puppets rested on a small shelf, due to the fact that they were beginning to clutter his workbench. He wouldn't pay attention to the fact of if the other man left or not while he did this, far to entranced with the details of the sculpting. He even sculpted the gourd onto the figurines back as a part of it, once he was done he would place it in the kiln that sat next to his work bench to wait for it to harden.

Crafting:

Anzo lets out a small, soft grunt when Kiyoshi states that he hopes that the gourd is to his liking, more of a sound of satisfaction, rather than what might have been a sound of the opposite for most other people. He doesn't even check to make sure he's been given the actual blueprints; despite his somewhat disappointing result of their short-lived "spar", Anzo didn't seem to consider Kiyoshi untrustworthy at the very least. The blueprint seems to disappear inside of Anzo's red jacket, accepted right away for what it was as he slips the silk strap over his shoulder, letting the gourd rest on his back. He turns back to face Kiyoshi as he also offers a hand for a handshake, and Anzo tugs back on the right arm sleeve of his jacket using his left hand, fully exposing his right hand and his arm halfway up the forearm, a sign of immense trust in a handshake among the Aburame by showing that no insects were involved before he takes hold of Kiyoshi's hand.

"I... will be sure to let other Aburame know to come to you if they wish to have terrariums of their own, of course. Although, I will have to warn them of the price in advance, of course."

Anzo isn't so ignorant as to miss the fact that it seemed that Kiyoshi may have tipped his hand in revealing that he might have, in some way, memorized or copied the blueprint in some fashion. But Kiyoshi also didn't sound like he was planning on doing anything untoward with such information if he was willing to make more terrariums for the Aburame clan. It did reveal that Kiyoshi was quite sly, but that's not typically a negative aspect for shinobi.

"In any case, I wish you good fortune in your future work. Good bye."

He releases Kiyoshi's hand after a single, short up-and-down motion, then turns and heads out, quite eager to get back to his usual training now that some of the pain of his most recent mistake was beginning to dull.
