Search For The Capital

As the days came and went the ship finally made its way across the water and onto shore Blitz was found resting in his cabin before the sounds of seagulls made their way into his head. Waking him up but also reminding him that land was now found due to wonderful sounds produced by the creatures getting himself up and geared he made his way out of the darkness and up into the light. Upon this day his mission was now starting as he was tasked with a set unit of scouts to recon this land and its inhabitants it was clear if anything went south he would defend himself but to be on foreign lands and representing his home it was a task of honor he had to learn for himself. With such an advance unit aiding him with his search he was sure they would do their job in finding whatever it seemed he was out there searching for in the first place but he knew that whatever it was his trip was surely going to be remembered. Jumping off board it seemed the scouting units were ready as well leaping off behind him as they knew what their job was despite the shinobi attempting to look for something interesting to bring back. The search for the capital of the Land of Sea had begun and his task to return back and claim what he sought was now in front of him to become a better swordsman for himself and his new found family back at the village.

Waking up to the sounds of rustling as the scouts came back with news and reports on their findings it had been a total of seven days the mission seemed to be dragging on with nothing from the scouts. But to his amazement when the scouts came back with intel on this day he knew the mission itself was sound and completed dusting off his clothes and following the scouts into deeper parts of the land. He was soon introduced to a civilization not known to him but found by the scouts these were the people that he was sent to show the negation and outcome. Indeed, being in the land of the mist needed such protection from bandits and other shinobi that might run into their lands demanding money in exchange for their lives. In time as he walked around seeing the people who owned the buildings walk the streets he was indeed fascinated but in time he would recall the true purpose of being out of his range of home. What he brought too was a large building with a elderly man outside waiting for what seemed to be him. He wondered if he was expecting or it could just be another day for the man yet by gazing at him the male stood proud gazing upon the people and Blitz indeed this man was their leader.

Blitz made his way with the group of scouts across to the man as the eyes of the many watched over them every movement he felt their gaze studying him and his group of shinobi. Removing the sealed information he had been given over to the old man, Blitz could only nod his head and smile at him as he allowed him to read the information for himself. Stepping back he watched as the old man was faced with a choice but the choice was wise to protect his people he must give up the borders to the shinobi. Allowing them to protect everyone at a faster pace he seemed to have worries on his mind. His facial expression was enough to crack a smile on his face. This was amusing but it was his time that was being wasted. Blitz reached back, tossing out a large sack of ryo, having it land beside the leader of this village without saying a word; it should have been easy to see his motives.

“Let us shinobi take care of the borders of your land. Live in peace from being under our protection. Today I am buying this land in the name of Kiri.. May we all live in prosperity.”

Bowing his head to the old man Blitz turned his back to the man and his people he felt the eyes pierce his back each like a dagger wondering why now this was going on in their lives. Keeping these people secured and safe was the goal but he was impressed with the results no one argued but held in their emotions for the sake of their lives. Only the shinobi knew what was going on in the shadows. It only made sense to leave the hard working shinobi to their work but it was only for the good of the nation. Crossing back into the dense forest making their way back to their vessel he wondered if anyone back home knew he was gone for so long but it felt as if the days flew by fast. Pushing it out back to sea and making it out to open water the mission was finished but now the mission was coming to an end he now had to fight the journey of crossing the sea once more.
