 | "So, you've gotten a bit stronger I see. And you finally unlocked a REAL Byakugan. Not one of those playthings that everyone with the blood magically or accidentally unlocks. Good. Now I finally have something to teach you. Something you could ACTUALLY use in combat. None of those handfarts or spinning shit," Airi's mother said as she greeted Airi to the training ground. The stage was set with several dummies scattered within a relatively close group with one another. All within at least 3 meters of each other. "Now. Activate your Byakugan." she said. Airi walked in and looked around only to be greeted by her mother's voice. Stern and commanding with a glint of a grin upon her face. She exclaimed that the Byakugan she had unlocked to return them back from exile was something that even small children could accidentally unlock. Her vicious mockery wrapped a thin layer of pride. This caused Airi to tug at her lip and crunch her brows together with a rather unamused expression. As her mother commanded, she formed the required handseal to activate her Stage 2 Byakugan. She shook her head and started to get dizzy from being able to see so much. The near 360 degree vision, the telescopic vision, and just seeing everything to include her mother's tenketsu points rather clearly was brand new to her. It nearly made her nauseous. "This is the Byakugan Stage 2. You'll learn Stage 3 soon enough, so don't bother getting too used to this. I have something I need to teach you when you unlock that too. Anyway, once you get your bearings, I'll teach you something. So go ahead and choke that down real quick and settle your stomach," she said as she moved her hands into a single handseal, activating the fourth stage of the Byakugan. She sat there and simply waited for Airi to regain her composure. About 5 minutes have passed and her mother started to get a bit impatient. "Time's up. You'll need to learn this. What I'm going to teach you is called the Eight Trigrams: 32 Palms. Would've been REAL useful to have but you decided to spend time making cute clothes and smacking metal than to get stronger with your bloodline," she said, almost as if looking down at her daughter. Airi pursed her lips together, withholding the feeling to just snarl at her mother. She choked down her nausea and took a firm footing. Her vision felt wobbly but she just watched her mother. "Good. Now that you're done belly-aching, I can get to teaching you the technique. The Eight Trigrams: 32 Palms requires precise and pin-point accuracy on the enemy's tenketsu points. You can do this one of two ways. Completely overwhelm a single target or spread it out between a bunch of targets. Personally, I'd rather close points on a single target, but I'll demonstrate both," she said before she took up a stance as everything grew dark for both of them and circles began to form on the ground beneath them. Before she struck out, she turned her eyes towards Airi. "You see these circles? These circles are your range of attack. You'll gain more as you get stronger," she said before rushing to the single target and struck at it with 2 pokes. "Two Palms!" she shouted out before her numbers continued to double until she reached 32 palms. Each strike was precise and where Tenketsu points would be. Each strike was also fast, very fast becoming quite the blur. After the attack was done, the darkness faded back into light and the lines upon the ground disappeared. "When you get stronger, you can do that up to a 128 strikes. But you won't be doing that for a little while," she said, shrugging her shoulders. An epiphany came to her mother and she walked over to all of the other dummies she set up and knocked them over. "You know what. Whether you listen to me or not, I'm going to tell you this and it might save your life. Do this on a single target. It's just better that way, trust me," she said. Airi's eyes furrowed and raised for a moment and shrugged her shoulders. "Now you try, Airi," her mother said, readjusting the dummy and moved out of the way. Airi stepped up towards the dummy and closed her eyes before emulating the same stance that her mother did. Arcs of electricity started to spark out from her body as perverted circles, arcing with electricity, began to form from under her feet and moving outwards. "Stop stop stop!" Airi's mother shouted causing Airi's concentration to break and everything returning to normal. Airi turned to look towards her mother with confusion. "Okay, let's try it again. But don't inject any lightning chakra into this move, please. It's already taxing enough as it is and you can easily make your own variant afterwards. But you gotta learn the base jutsu. Now focus and don't inject lightning chakra into everything," she said before stepping back. Airi let out a sigh and shrugged her shoulders. She really liked using her lightning chakra but her mother was right. She calmed herself and cleared her mind, referencing the training that Tengoku taught her. To concentrate on her chakra flow. She regained her stance from earlier and everything turned pitch black except herself, her mother, and the one dummy that remained upright. With a swift dash forward, she lunged towards the dummy striking it. "Two palms. Four palms. Eight palms. Sixteen palms. Thirty two palms!" she shouted before finishing off her combo and the dust was kicked up around her. She was met with gentle applause. "Good. Now you're officially a Hyuga now. And I have one more jutsu I need to teach you. You up for it?" she asked, tilting her head to the side to wait for her daughter's decision. | "Okay. Now that you have the basic done, I should be seeing you here in a few weeks to teach you the next part and a few more other clan jutsu. But now I'm going to teach you something a bit more simple. As you know, we Hyuga don't really value external damage like those barbaric users of the Strong Fist. So this next technique might look a bit underwhelming, but it's actually quite devastating. It does a LOT of internal damage to a target," her mother exclaimed and the mentioning of dealing internal damage caused Airi's eyes to turn and focus on the conversation. Her mother caught that and gave her a rather grim expression, if even for a brief moment. "Anyway, it looks like this," she said as she walked up tot he dummy and delivered a quick palm strike to it. The dummy started to rock and move in a clockwise motion for a bit before falling over. "Okay, you basically inject a bunch of chakra into your opponent to completely wreak havoc on their insides. Unlike our other techniques, it doesn't seal any Tenketsu Points, but will cause a considerable amount of damage to the target's innards. I'm pretty sure if you cut that thing open, it's going to be pretty hollow now," she said before walking over and picking up the dummy. "Alright, you try. And NO lightning chakra. You can develop that on your own," she said before Airi walked up to the dummy and concentrated on her chakra flow, directing a vast majority of it to the heel of her palm. She delivered a single quick palm strike to the head of the dummy before decapitating it. Airi blinked and turned to look to her mother. "Is that normal?" she asked, pointing to the head that started to roll around on the ground. "Um. No. No it's not," she said, now a bit concerned. Did Airi mismanage her chakra? Did Airi use too much chakra? Did Airi do something different with the jutsu? She shook her head and pointed back to the remainder of the dummy, kicking the head away. "Whatever, try it again," she said, knocking on the chest of the dummy. Shrugging her shoulders, she would do the exact same thing upon the dummy causing it to rotate, similarly to how her mother caused it to rotate, but several holes started to appear on the dummy, coming from the inside out, making it look like a porcupine rolled over it. Her mother grimaced and turned to look at Airi. "Well, that was it. Kinda..." she said as her voice trailed off. A single drop of sweat fell from her forehead down her cheek. "Um, maybe we should try this again next time. Maybe once you've unlocked the next tier of your bloodline." she actually had another bloodline technique to teach her, but she didn't come prepared for it. Didn't come prepared to teach it properly. "Just.. study your scrolls and learn those jutsu. I'll be home," she said before quickly shoving off. "What is wrong with my daughter? Why is her chakra and fighting capabilities so scary? What the hell is wrong with her?" she thought to herself before quickly exiting the area. Airi turned to look towards the head of the dummy that she decapitated, picking it up and looked at it. The head seemed lighter than usual. She gently shook it to hear and feel sawdust gathered inside of it. She turned it to look at the part that got decapitated. Maybe part of her chakra burrowed a hole down the head and caused it to break? She turned it over and saw that the head was completely sealed. The neck, where the decapitation happened, was also an extremely clean cut, as if it was taken down and slashed with a single and clean stroke. The worried look on her mother's face said a thousand words. No. She was here to train and learn. Taking a seat where she was, indian style, she pulled out one of her scrolls and started to read it. | Airi read through the scroll and her eyebrows furrowed and almost gave a disgusted expression. While this jutsu seemed rather 'barbaric' for her taste, she does see the practical application for it. It also seemed like a rather good jutsu to base other jutsu off of. She rolled her eyes and took a deep breath just before standing back up, looking over the scroll one last time to memorize the handseals required. She groaned, seeing all the handseals required. "Six handseals? Holy shit. This jutsu better make me breakfast in the morning," she said, tossing the scroll over her shoulders. She cleared her throat, closed her eyes and let her chakra flow through her body. She was already using Lightning Chakra, so there was no need to add any more. She quickly formed all of the handseals, taking roughly a second and a half to complete before her chest started to glow a brilliant white color. The glow slowly moved from her chest all the way up to her throat and then up to her mouth. Her cheeks puffed out, almost illuminating before opening her mouth with the bolt of electricity blasting out of her mouth. She was dumb enough to hit the dummy up close. With the striking of electricity, it completely blew up the dummy and sent her flying backwards. Skidding off of the ground, she got up and looked at the burning pile that was once the training dummy and started to panic. "Holy shit holy shit holy shit! I'm going to have to pay for that. But holy crap that jutsu is strong!" she said, walking back to the scrolls and took a seat next to the burning hole in the ground. She started to filter out the lightning jutsu she won't use; mainly Lightning Oppression Horizontal Chop. That required her to actually have a bit of strength. She grumbled and tossed that scroll. She looked through another one, Rock Avalanche. With a grimace, she chucked that one as well. Where the hell would she actually USE that jutsu here? Thunder Binding sounded interesting. She looked it over and grumbled, tossing that one as well. She wouldn't have the time to place down 3 conductors before hand, hoping someone will walk into them and have her bind them. Nobody could be that stupid. The scroll of Thunderclap Drill was next. She instantly tossed it already knowing it. "Man, this rank of Raiton sucks," she lamented as she looked to the remaining scrolls. Lightning Rat Violent Quake. She furrowed her brow at the name and chuckled, exclaiming how stupid the name was. | Stupid name - awesome technique. Her eyes lit up like a christmas tree when she saw what the jutsu did. Her expression quickly changed when she noticed how many handseals were required. "Holy shit! What's with this rank of jutsu and taking so long?" she said, now trying to commit the handseals to memory. She stood up and started to walk over towards some of the fallen training dummies that her mother knocked down earlier, hooked her toe underneath the dummy and quickly raised her leg to get them to stand. She moved her body in the way of it so it didn't fall and eventually stabilized upon it's base. She continued to read the jutsu. She read the jutsu in detail and gets a giddy laugh. "Oh! This gives me some very interesting ideas!" she said, drooling at the though. Several tiny discs? Why not a single 'destructive' disc? Tossing the scroll to the side, she looked at the several dummies and started to control her breathing. With another quick flash of handseals, she summoned over a dozen small discs of electricity and sent it forth in random directions. She had minimal control over these things and took what her mother said to heart, to focus on a single target. Spreading the damage was kind of silly with small attacks, such as this. She focused a bit and started to sweat as she was attempting to control the discs to attack a single target. And with all 15 of the tiny discs hitting, it caused yet another dummy to explode. This caused her to grimace and grumble. "This training trip is starting to get pretty expensive at this rank," she lamented. She really liked that jutsu, so she's going to commit it to memory. She took the final scroll and read it over. It seemed rather niche, but would work very well with Taco's Suiton abilities. | This one will be relatively easier than the other ones. She didn't have any tools or anything to conduct electricity, but she knows MANY ways to use this as a base for other derivative jutsu. She placed the scroll upon the ground and read out the seals. While upon a single knee, she started to perform the seal and her left hand started to crackle in electricity. A wave of water or even some ninja wire would work great with this. Hmm.
