Heel, boy! [D Rank Solo Mission]

Mission Details:

What's with this village and their dog problem? First she had to get walked by a demon dog to see the grave of his dead parents and now someone had lost their dog. The last bit of information given to her was that the animal was headed towards the Grand Konoha Training Facility. The dog could be anywhere in that area as it was massive and nobody that had to register or rent equipment would do or say anything to stop the dog? She pulled out a picture of the animal and looked at it for a moment to study the creature.

Air was sucked through her teeth as she looked at it. She knew the breed, having seen it before -- just before walking Taro. It was a relatively small and squatty breed of dog with equally squatty legs. There was no way that something as diminutive and goofy-looking as this dog could be very fast or very agile.

Airi approached the counter and showed the woman at the front desk her mission scroll as well as the picture of the animal and she was directed towards the elevator leading to the Grand Training Grounds. It seemed that the woman assumed that the creature was someone's ninken. With a paper-thin smile, she bowed towards the woman and took the elevator up to the Grand Training Grounds. Upon entering, she saw a butt swinging side to side. It was the rear-end of the dog she was chasing. "Hey you! Stop right there!" she shouted out, drawing the attention of the corgi before it turned back and waddled further into the training grounds. A little groan escaped her lips before she started to run towards the dog.

The diminutive creature began to waddle away with Airi in quick pursuit. As she predicted, the creature wasn't really that fast. With a grumble, Airi moved a hand towards the animal's scruff and picked it up and turned it towards her. Fatigue quickly set in forcing her to use both of her hands upon the animal's scruff. "Alright now, Chinatsu. It's time for us to go back now, alright?" She said to the animal, rolling her eyes at the fact that she was trying to hold a conversation with it. Suddenly, a feeling of warmth could be felt upon her chest as she turned to look down, noticing the Corgi urinated upon her. Dropping the animal, in absolute disgust, she shouted out "Ew! Fucking gross!" she said as the animal continued to waddle away and, from out of nowhere, started to waddle it's way up the tree.

"Be careful now. Chinatsu might like silly, small, and defenseless, but don't underestimate them. They're quire formidable. While it's not PHYSICALLY strong, it has immense brain-power. It's probably smarter than you, girl."

Gritting her teeth, remembering the words of the mission contractor, she started rampaging her way towards the Corgi with it's ears quickly perking up and scrambling up the tree. Airi started to climb up the tree, upon all fours, scrambling towards the animal. The look of fear could be seen in the dog's eyes as it climbed up a bit more before jumping from it's tree to the next one, now jumping from branch to branch.

"Playing hard to get now? Chi... nat... su!!!" Airi shouted out. One could swear they could see steam billowing out from between her lips like a dragon ready to blow fire from it's mouth. "I'm going to getcha! They don't pay me enough to deal with this shit!"

She jumped at the dog, barely missing it with each leap. It was, as if, she was also an animal now seeking out the small corgi as prey. A little whimper could be heard as Airi continued to lunge towards the creature before getting a brilliant idea. With a quick formation of handseals, she created a staff of lightning in her hand. Seeing the electricity, the dog's ears folded down and it started to jump from tree limb to tree limb at an even faster rate. Using her own speed, Airi ended up catching up to the dog and swung the staff of lightning towards the animal only for it to start bending and lasso-ing itself around the dog's neck, creating a leash of electricity.

With a loud whimper, Chinatsu tried to escape only to fail. It might've been strong, but it wasn't strong enough to escape Airi's wrath and one of the most embarassing jutsu in her arsenal. "Lightning Release: Lightning Tether - Heel, Boy!" she shouted out before maintaining a hold of the leash, she pulled the dog in towards her and held the creature in her arms. It's little body was trembling in horror. With a sigh outward, she started to pet the dog with her free hand and speak softly to the animal. "Now now. Your family misses you and I'm going to return you to your loving family, alright?" she said in a soft and caring voice. But something about this annoyed the dog, causing it to kick it's legs to try to get free. Memories of the children tormenting the dog and being forced to do tricks without a treat caused it to flip-out. Without another word, she just chopped the dog on the back of the neck.

"Sorry puppy. If it's that bad, make a mission to free you from your family. Until then, I need to get paid," she grumbled and started to walk, with the dog in tow, towards the ones that created the mission. Mission complete.
