[Clan Name] Maneru
[Clan Location] Unaffiliated
[Bloodline Name & Type] Shape Changing
[Current Clan Leader] Each comunity has it's own leader.
Clan History/Description: There is a rumor about the Maneru that they are some kind of strange, magical being, but this isn’t really true. They just possess a unique set of abilities. They do like to propagate this rumor though. They are not nearly as reclusive as it would seem. While they grow up mostly in small nomadic communities of their own people, they are not reclusive in any way. Due to their natural abilities, though, most people don’t know when they are interacting with a member of this clan. They usually hide their true form from the public eye, and it is very frowned upon by members of the clan to use this form when they are not in their home.
Clan/Bloodline Traits & Characteristics: The Maneru’s abilities mean that they have any number of appearances, but their basic form is unsettling and ugly. They have nothing on their face but a mouth. Their hair grows sparse and sad. They can stand at any height and tend to be very slender.
They will almost always form at least eyes by the time that they reach their teens. Shortly after developing eyes, they will form the other organs of the face within a week or so. Other times, it happens all at once. The reason for the clan name, and the names of many of their abilities, is that the forming a eyes is usually a result of immitation. That is, a child immitating their parent.
Bloodline Description & Abilities: The Maneru possess a unique connection to Yoton that allows them to manipulate their body in a number of ways. The Maneru are born as strange, featureless babies. As they grow older, they become almost unsettling to look at with wilted, gray or black hair, and pale skin. The Maneru have no eyes, ears, or nose, and have only a mouth on their face until they begin to learn their abilities.
Maneru are passively immune to most illnesses and poisons up to C tier. For 200 exp poisons of A tier and lower are not capable of killing a Maneru, but will instead incapacitate them.
Basic Mimicry - 250 exp - With this ability, a Maneru may morph to have any facial features they choose. This goes beyond simply aesthetic, and results in a member of this clan gaining brand new sensory organs. This takes adjusting, with many Maneru being overwhelmed at first. By using 5 chakra points, they may change their appearance instantaneously into anything they desire, so long as it’s human. It’s quite unnerving to watch, with organs and bones shifting, growing or shrinking.
Advance Mimicry - 500 exp - must have basic mimicry - A maneru who is adept in using their innate abilities may find that they are able to achieve some incredible things with control over the Yoton chakra in their bodies. They are able to increase one of their physical stats by one tier. They are able to alter their body at will to achieve different effects. With 10 chakra points, they can instantly change their one tier stat boost to any physical stat they would like. In addition, for the same cost as changng their apperance, they can change their voice to sound like anything they want, or grow a sensory organ, such as an eye or nose, on any part of their body. Gross!
Sensory Mimicry - 250 - Must have basic mimicry - A Maneru may see many of the ocular abilities of the world and feel somewhat jealous. Well, they can’t do any of that stuff people with cool eyes do, but they can sure as hell fake it. As a bonus, the added focus on their sensory organs has given them a ++ to perception.
Healing - 250 - Must have basic mimicry - A Maneru can’t be healed using medical jutsu, but their control over their body may allow them to make up for this weakness by simply sowing the wounds back together themselves. For 20 chakra per post, they may heal minor wounds completely, and stop moderate bleeding, but they have to focus on it. They cannot multitask while doing this, making it impractical during battle.
Advanced Healing - 250 - Must have healing - After practicing for some time,a Maneru may become somewhat adept at repairing their body, and can recover from broken limbs, stab wounds, third degree burns, and basically anything else short of losing an arm in two posts using no additional chakra. They maintain the same weaknesses as before, though.
Combat Healing - 1000 - Must have advanced healing - The user has become so adept at healing that they are now able to do it without even focusing on it. They can do all the stuff they normally would during battle while healing.
Ultimate Mimicry - 1000 - Must have mastered every other Maneru ability - A true master of the Maneru clan’s abilities can alter their body to an absurd extent, becoming a terrifying and nearly unstoppable foe. On top of the bonuses they get from all their previous abilities, a Maneru may overcharge their body with a massive amount of chakra. For the huge cost of 30 chakra points, the user becomes a hulking mass of muscle. They gain a one tier boost in strength, speed, and constitution. After it is activated, it may be maintained for a cost of 20 chakra per post. After it is canceled by any means, the user will go unconscious for up to twelve hours, meaning that they are unable to mend their body after using this ability until they wake up.
Bloodline Limits & Drawbacks:
A member of the Maneru clan who has not learned to use their clan's abilities is blind, deaf, and has no sense of smell.
Largely do to their lack of senses during the first years of their life, many of them have fallen behind in learning things that most people typically know how to do. To represent this, it is twice as expensive to upgrade intellegence.
Members of the Maneru cannot be healed using medical ninjutsu, and must rely on their own abilities to mend wounds. Injuries healing naturally take about 50% longer.
Destroyed eyes, ears, and stuff gets reabsorbed into the body. It heals and disolves over the course of an out of character week, during which time the organ unfortunately does what it's meant to do. It's disoreinting, so it results in a 2 teir loss in perception.
The immune system of the maneru clan is unique, but poorly equipped to deal with transplants. Members of this clan who attempt to transplant organs or receive blood transfusions, it will cause an auto-immune response so severe it will kill them. This does not seem to be the case for transplanting Maneru organs, however. The organ, strangely, will not carry over any of the unique abilities associated with the clan.
Dual KKG is possible, but abilities requiring sensory organs will not work. For whatever reason, the only organs a Maneru is capable of producing are standard, boring ones.
