Mission Name: Stop The Man From..HERE TOO?!
    Mission Rank: B
    Theater of War: N/A
    Relevant Plot NPCs Nope
Mission Goal: Recover the stolen product
Description: There once was a man named Ulrich Von Lichtenstein, at least that's what he claims! He is quite insane, driven mad due to the stress his life had suddenly come over due to the war. Now he runs around the Emporium screaming his 'name' everywhere. This time though he's done something more. He's decided in his insanity to steal from The Stag Emporium, more specifically, from The Grand Merchant himself. Chase down the mad man and retrieve the stolen equipment. Don't kill him however, what happened to him isn't his fault.
    Payment: 25,000
Maximum Number of Participants: Max of 4

Another day, another mission. For all intents and purposes, the Uzumaki wore some of his best attire today. It consisted of a silky blue shirt, with navy combat pants that his late mother had commissioned for him. The pants were very flexible which gave the Uzumaki the chance to stretch a little bit more easily to normal. He was an avid believer in the art of Yoga and its role in strengthening the mind and body, thus despite the urgent nature of his mission up-coming mission, he decided to briefly meditate around 10-15 meters from the entrance to the merchant hall.

His intention was to balance his body and mind in order to accelerate the flow of Yin and Yang chakras throughout his body but unfortunately a sudden bit of commotion prevented the Uzumaki from concentrating as effectively as he would have liked. “What’s all the commotion?” he grumbled as he opened his eyes. The sight of an unusual looking fella immediately grabbed his attention. It appeared as if an eccentric looking gentleman was carrying the Emporium Stag on his shoulders while chased by the Grand Merchant. Spotting his Yuki team mate in the distance, the Uzumaki flagged him down as he got to his feet. “Grab him.” he called out as he darted towards the old man.

He wasn’t too sure as to whether the old man had committed any crimes to speak of but the fact that he was being chased by the grand merchant raised red flags for the Uzumaki, so much so that he felt the best option would be to detain the fleeing male in order to clarify the whole ‘Stag on his shoulders’ situation.

Yuki clansmen were known for their style. Tactical fabrics, armors, anything that would make them look deadly before they even had to draw a sword or senbon. Yet, a merchant knew the value of bulk purchases, and combining durability with ease of manufacture. Because of this, the Yuki would grace the streets in yet another one of his beige shirts, tan pants, and the boots of a pair which he used day on day off. No, he wasn’t a warrior or swordsman, not of the Yukis, so he never grew up with those senses. Instead, his father hammered into his mind the value of a good bargain, and Nobo wasn’t one to say no to saving a couple ryo that could be well spent on food or alcohol, or swords.

Yet, what he really wanted was a block of cured pork meat. He would render that beauty with garlic and ginger, and make a soup so tasty, his ancestors would be able to smell it in the Peaceful Land. When he got out of the butcher with the block of meat, he made his way down the street. Amidst the people that moved up and down the street, it seemed something was happening a ways down the street. An orange topped giant waved in the distance, ‘grab him’ he called.

Cold eyes peered the crowd for what he meant, and without hesitating, he formed a single seal and aimed a stream of bubbly water to where the crowds parted; soon enough, a man carrying the Emporium’s Golden Stag showed his dishelved self, and before he realized what was he started slipping down along the street; the Yuki moved forward, grabbing the man’s wrist before he hurt himself, and grabbing the Golden Stag before it hit the floor and got damaged. “A… A…. A little hELP!” He cried out, flexing his entire body to maintain the old man from the floor with one hand while holding the Golden Stag above the ground.

“Perfect.” he muttered as he dashed towards the Yuki, it appeared that Noboru not only had perfect comedic timing but he had good timing in general, timing comparable to that of the gods to some extent. The manner in which he quickly detained the eccentric old male reminded the Uzumaki why he chose to work with the young man. “Maan… that was so cool…” he called out to the Yuki before abruptly slipping in the puddle of bubbly water.

Attempting to maintain a level of composure, he flashed a toothy grin as he slowly slid along the ground in the direction of the Yuki and the eccentric old man. Thankfully, the Grand Merchant was in tow and the old man was built like a brick shithouse. For an elderly gentleman he scooped the Golden Stag from Yukis grasp with relative easy so the Uzumaki was somewhat baffled as to why the old man didn’t directly deal with the thief, but as the plot thickened the merchants reasoning would soon come to light.

“He’s a war veteran… His experienced on the field of battle claimed the best of his senses... You can let him go.” instructed the grand merchant as the Uzumakis gaze darted directly toward Nobo. “My bad.” he muttered as he progressively collected himself from the ground. Unbeknownst to the Uzumaki, the stag had been stolen for well over a day and the Emporium had commissioned its retrieval, as luck would have it the duo stumbled across the mission by sheer accident but with the stag now retrieved, the Grand Merchant provided the duo with confirmation the successful completion of the mission which in turn meant that they would be able to collect the relevant reward for having helped with the capture of the crazed veteran.

With that out of the way, the duo went about their usual daily training activities.

Now he slipped on the bubbly water, he thought as his muscles began protesting this exertion. Followed closely by the grand merchant, a man of clear physical prowess, if the way he closed the distance without breaking a sweat was any indication that he just didn’t just sit behind a desk, moving pencils and counting pennies, and soon enough, just as the Uzumaki made contact with the old man, the merchant took the golden stag from the Yuki’s hand. Relieve shot up and down his arms in cold sweats, and he leaned back, stretching his protesting lower back.

“I’m not getting young again, am I?” lamented the white haired. The Merchant scowled at the comment, before turning his attention to the old man. He explained how the war had left the man a shell of his former self, before asking that they let him go. A pang of pity was plucked from the heartstrings of the Yuki, but even that solemn moment was robbed from him. “Destiny”, rasped the voice.

With the mission inadvertently complete, the merchant would write a letter to the mission board, which in turn would allow the duo to collect the reward. That was a good thing too; he had just dropped a slab of meat in a gutter for this golden stag.
