Unique Abilities:
Silent Infiltrator: An she is an expert in sneaking around Alkaid can hide her presence for three posts to any sensory technique and perception rank equal or lower than her class, but while doing so, she loses a rank in perception for an equal amount of time.
Stage Actor: Being an infiltration expert, Akaid is a naturally skilled actor. She can usually fool those around her into believing she's someone else or that she knows what she's talking about. Shinobi with one tier higher perception can discover she's lying after one post of listening, those with equal after three, with one tier less after five, two tiers after eight, and three tiers and lower an indefinite amount of time.
Swordsman's seal: Well used to having a sword in hand during battle Alkaid is able to preform jutsu using only one hand. Her Coordination suffers a one tier penalty while doing this however.
Appearance:
Alkaid is a nubile teenage girl with short wavy pearly white hair and bright sapphire eyes and an even brighter smile. Between her thin athletic frame and her pale white complexion she appears to very frail looking.
Being the same age and standing at the same height as her clan leader at 5'6 and weighting only slightly heavier at 142 lbs people often mistake them as twin sisters, though they are easy to tell apart thanks to having different hair styles and the fact Alkaid has a smaller bust size.
Because she is an inflation expert Aklaid will often wear a wide variety of clothing when on the job. Whatever she needs to fit in from the dirty garb of farming peasant to the robes of a high class courtesan. When not on duty however she tends toward wearing black Gothic Lolita style dresses with lots of frills on them.
History:
Alkaid like the rest of her clan was born and raised in the Kaguya Clan district in Kirigakure no Sato. Being Tsubaki slightly younger first cousin she spent a lot of her childhood playing together while they grew up. One holiday when she was seven she and the other children in her clan put on a stage show of The Tale of Princess Kaguya for the entire village to enjoy with Alkaid herself playing the lead roll.
As it so happened one of the Anbu in the audience took a shine to Alkaid’s natural acting talent and decided to ask the clan if she could be admitted into the academy to be trained as a stealth and inflation specialist. They agreed to allow this as a gesture of good faith to the village on the condition that she be allowed time to train with her family so that if she ever got caught she’d at least have a fighting chance of making it out alive.
Because of the extensive amount of time she has spent outside of her home district, Alkaid has grown to become much less pregidous towards outsides then is typical of a member of her clan making her somewhat of an oddball among her family.
Now having graduated the academy her first assignment as a spy is to spend time among the general ranks of the village, blending in with the other gennin so that she can evaluate both their general performance and teamwork as well as loyalty to the village. She wants to work on improving relations between the clan and the village, but if push comes to shove even she doesn't know which side she would chose.
Personality:
If you could describe Alkaid in one word it would be vivacious. She’s almost always very high spirited and has an easy time being able to draw others to her because of her animated nature. She’s also a natural born ham in more ways then one since she really loves making jokes and playing up her role but also because she almost a force of nature during the rare times that she is genuinely angered.
Loyal almost to a fault, she is very hyper-focused on her work. Her biggest flaw is that sometimes she gets top obsessed with something to pay attention to the fact that this things that she is aligned to are no longer aligned with her.
