Kimiko had successfully left the village. She didn't really have a plan on anywhere to go, but for the first time, she was legitimately free. Figuring she'd travel in a random direction, she picked up Kagura's tracks and just followed the trail. She didn't actually care too much about the girl, or even know who she was tracking, just that it was a fresh trail she could follow.
