Leaving for Ota

This was the moment Asahi has been waiting for. To go on a mission is something he's been waiting for since the academy. It wasn't a long distance trip either, so it should be fairly easy and shouldn't take that long to get there. Asahi was filled with excitement for who knew what adventures that place may hold for him. Quickly realizing he's getting too ahead of himself, Asahi regains his composure as he's being stopped by pair of guards. Asahi got the usual look such as what in blazes is a frail kid like him traveling outside of the village. After seeing the genin band however, they didn't verbally question it as Asahi gave them his destination that his mission was taking him.

Seeing as how he's never been outside Kirigakure save for the training grounds, the guards gave him a few directions of how to get to Ota. Asahi thanked them for the aid and went out of the gates. It was the first official step into Asahi's future, one he hopes that could be made into reality. So many possibilities for one so young. Even the guards wonder which path this genin will take.

It had only been hours, nearly twelve to be precise. Yet to Asahi it felt like the whole day just rushed by him. The Genin had a taste of adventure, and quite frankly he's hungry for more. His expression remains the stoic form as usual, but his eyes shimmer with excitement. The sight of his home village was welcoming to him, but at the same time Asahi already felt anxious. Like he needs to venture further, or to maybe go out towards Ota one more time when he has some free time to kill.

As the Genin walked towards the gates he is naturally greeted by the same guards he met earlier. Asahi recognized them, and the guards recognized him much sooner than he. "Back already kid? Too much work for you after all it seems." The guard who is thick with muscle in the arms particularly spoke in a deep voice. Asahi merely shrugged his shoulders in response to it as he usually doesn't give an inch of affecting his emotions. "Already took care of it. A simple task for a Genin to do remember? I am a Genin after all, so it is expected of me to complete it no matter what." The guards looked at each other for a moment and silently stepped aside allowing him to enter. For a moment Asahi actually felt naked even though he clearly was clothed. It was like someone was watching straight through him as a wave of unseen energy washes over his body. It confused him, as that was something he's never experienced before. Yet even so, Asahi unnervingly made his way inside as his arm hairs are standing up at this point.
